I’m certainly grateful to have found Jason of RICE guitar works. His passion for his work is inspiring and unmatched. I brought him a 1950 arch top acoustic guitar (my grandfathers) in such bad shape, unplayable…. By my estimation unrepairable. I had pulled it out from an old granary on the farm for some idea of condition, I wasn’t that hopeful. Jason’s enthusiasm and optimism for this project changed my outlook. The amount of love and care he poured into the project surpassed all and anything i had expected. I had told my father that i was fortunate to have found “the guy”! Jason does a great job updating the customer throughout the project and really brings you along with every step of his work. I got my guitar back and was dumbfounded by how nice it appeared with action and sound to match. His pricing also would be considered “underpaid” for the quality of his work. I don’t review often/ever but the satisfaction and quality i experienced could not be without note. If you’re reading this when choosing a guitar luthier, look no further.i would give 6/5 stars if i could.

Jason is more than fair on his price and his turn around is quick. He worked on vintage Kramers for me, no one else will be touching them except Rice Guitar Work.

Amazing work! Do not waste your time with larger outfits where your guitar could sit for weeks only to be rushed out the door to make way for the next one. Jason is extremely dialed and obviously passionate about what he does. He discussed the work in detail before starting and provided updates as the work was being done.
