Brutal customer service.
This place used to be my highest regarded clinic in all of calgary.
Me and my entire family are coming here for years and our family doctor, doctor kroetch is the most carring and most professional doctor i ever had the plesure taking care of me.

But the reception staff is the most rudest, not give a damn personal ever. They should be all let go and replaced with people who actually care to help you and make your booking a plesent experience.

Comments like if you dont like to wait go to the ER or go somewhere else are unacceptable to me. They just dont care for people and they just laze away all day.
It took me last time 2 days to get someone on the line to book an appointment. 2 days and i called every hour.

Then last time i was booked in with doctor Lee who just looked to me like someone fresh out of school. Cold, zero empathy and zero answers to my condition. Again they tried to book me in with her but have no interest wasting my time on someone who just sends me home with no solution.

I understand there is a massive shortage of work force in canada but if you just hire anyone to survive, it will backfire sooner or later.

I will try to come here a few more times, see if their customer service changes and if not i will take my whole family somewhere else as whats going on here lately is anything but health care.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Saw Dr. Poonja.very rude and a complete waste of time. Very unhelpful front desk staff. I would avoid this place at all costs

Got into an accident on the way to my appointment because of all the snow. I was charged $250 for a no show EVEN when I was told that it would be a $50 no show charge on the phone when I booked the appointment. The entire appointment was supposed to be ~$350. No thanks. Not an understanding or upfront practice at all to me after my experience.

I’ve been with Dr. Brian Hartman for a year and he is one of the kindest most caring physicians I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. I have a variety of medical issues and it’s incredibly refreshing to have someone be incredibly empathetic. I’ve never had any issues at any of the many appointments I’ve had. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a family doctor in Calgary!

We have been seeing Dr Brian Hartman for lactation consultation and he has been an incredible help. Thanks to him I am able to breast feed and he continues to provide follow up care as other issues come up. He is very thorough, listens to all concerns, even when there are plenty, and works collaboratively for the best solutions to each problem that is unique to us and our experiences. You can tell he takes pride in doing well in this field of work and he is very compassionate towards us as his patients. He was also thorough with informed consent for both myself and my daughter. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an LC or seeing him as a GP.

First time I went was great. Call in advande and booked an appointment with ease. The dr. Was super helpful.

A few months later I went to book an appointment and they have zero record of me on file. They told me I can't book an appointment because no physicians are accepted in patience now.

Definitely the most unprofessional doctors experience of my life and doubt it will ever be topped. Ive been off work for 3 months now and the only shoes I can wear are open toed sandals due to the pain of a bunion on my foot. During the session I mention I was going to get another specialists opinion because Toole's procedure was more intense and a longer recovery time than other specialists I've seen, he tells me he's not interested in other doctors opinions and to go somewhere else and pay out of my own pocket. After asking what the issue was because I could see he was getting hostile, he tells me that I'm being rude and can go do whatever I like. Most arrogant, disrespectful doctor I've ever met. Waited over a month to see this "specialist" now I'm back to square 1 and have to do the process over again.

I have been dealing with Cynthia Southam for years regarding facial treatments and skin concerns. Cynthia has always been so helpful and kind for all my interesting treatments. I trust her completely and recommend her to anyone. I have also been seen by Dr Kroetsch, who is also wonderful. Takes the time to explain things to where I feel comfortable. Never have I felt rushed or walked out feeing lost.

Receptionists are terrible, spoke to two different girls and both were so rude and disrespectful.they want to run the clinic as if patients were kids.one girl hanged up on me twice while I was talking and when I called again a different receptionist said she would not make my appointment unless I apologize? (and for what? Expecting them to let me finish my questions) when i told her I would apologize after she did first and I asked to talk to someone else she went ahead and decided to do my medical appointment? Unbelievable.

The medical receptionists or whoever answers the phones are very rude. I have called 2 times now and have had the same experience both times. Maybe have some sympathy and treat your patients a little better and you will get some better reviews? I am very upset at how the receptionist treated me today when I called, no care to help me with my problem and sounded like a very miserable person, who hates her job. Please consider hiring some other people to run the front desk as this is the first point of interaction most people have. No issues with the Doctors yet, but avoid calling the grumpy ladies at the front if you can as they will ruin your day.

Dr. Stevenson has been a FABULOUS family doctor for years; however, the administration staff at the front desk are ALWAYS so incredibly rude. Reading other reviews I know that I am not the only person feeling this way. The front desk staff are sharp and short and seem to forget that they are in a front facing position and should try to give some customer service. The nurses are always kind and personable and so are the doctors. It’s just the medical office assistants who are consistently rude.

Confused by the bad review that was given by 'Wade James' referring to myself as I have never met, dealt with, or talked to this person at my job and have no idea who he is. So how can he possibly know what my job is and if I am qualified, so this will go down as personal slander by a fake ID.
On another note, unfortunately people normally only submit bad reviews through social media. Yet those that adore and are thankful for the hard work that we do at this clinic, from reception to nursing to doctors, do not express their gratitude here on social media but bring us thanks personally at the clinic. So we are reminded every day what an amazing job we give in patient care. Granted sometimes people do not get exactly what they what, or we are not exactly on time, normally by situations beyond our control, but we are all very well trained, caring and passionate, and do our best to comply with each and every need to the best of our control. And that means more to each of us at the clinic then any bad review left on social media.

Refused to give me my travel vaccinations without a $70 consultation with a doctor first, despite already having a prescription for said vaccinations from my family doctor.

Called another clinic and had an appointment for said vaccinations set up for the afternoon on the same day.

3 appointments in a row and never saw a doctor

1st time My girlfriend was a bit late for her 30 min appointment but we were told it was only booked for 15 mins (wrong) and we were too late to be seen even though there was 20 mins of time left in her appointment. She has waited for a on time appointments much longer than 15 mins before.

2nd time They gave us the wrong day when we called to confirm the day and time. The doc wasn't even there.

3rd time the doc cancelled 30 mins before the appointment time.

Dr. Loehr has been my doctor since I was little, she takes the time to listen to everything and follow through. She is the best doctor and wouldnt trade her for the world. Very much appreciate all of the staff, very kind and welcoming! Thank you everyone!

I drive from the most opposite side if the city to this office to see the doctor I have been seeing for 14 years!
If you arrive early for an appointment, never assume you will get in early unless someone cancelled. Patients come in and talk to their doctor with 4 or 5 different issues. Your doctor has about 15 minutes to help. So the more you keep bringing up, the longer the wait. It's not the doctors fault or the offices fault.
The only thing I have issues with is the appointment line. Really hard to call in. Kind of wish they would fix that.
Otherwise, it's not different from any other clinic.

Great Dr but the receptionist leave alot to be desired, rude, unhelpful, are close to impossible to get a hold of, make you repeat yourself numerous times, etc.to say the least don't go to this drs office until they fix their administration issues. Not worth the hassle.

Best doctor and nurses that I have ever had. Dr Ballantine is great, even thought that they haven’t figure out what is wrong with me. They haven’t give up and in every appointment she and her nurses make sure that they are throughout and put me first. I never had nothing than great service at this place from the nurses and receptionists. The pharmacy takes like 40 minutes to fill a prescription, is a bit annoying, but they have never messed up anything, so I guess that is ok:). Thank you

Their availability to even BOOK an appointment is atrocious. I've been trying to book with them for 7 days.

I was scheduled for an appointment at 9 am today. Due to traffic I arrived a couple minutes before. I paid $30 for my Uber to get there. They still cancelled my appointment. There was no way to fixing or arranging my appointment to today even though they ALWAYS keep you waiting inside for 20 mins or so. Incredible. I’ll be making more complaints about this place.

I have personally never been to the medical center. I am just a contractor, I built a few items for the medical center, with a total cost of just over $470 dollars. The items were delivered with no problems. I have now been waiting a month in a half for my payment. The owner Gary Mummery has not returned any of my calls. So you have to ask yourself should you trust this place with your medical needs if the owner is not even capable of paying a small bill. It is really disgusting that the owner of a medical center would RIP off a little guy like me just to save a few bucks. Seriously how hard is it to send a email transfer. It would only take a few seconds out of your busy schedule.

It took me an hour and 10 minutes to get there since I live across the city and it is currently snowing. I was a few minutes late and they canceled my appointment without me knowing. The receptionist proceeded to laugh in my face because I was upset that my appointment was canceled. By far the most disrespectful and unprofessional medical office I have ever been to.

Terrible service, no greeting or eye contact, poor service quality, from the front desk and nurses. Not a place to go back.

Even though they open at 730am you can call anytime of the day and the phone says they are closed. Better of to walk in
