Great little clinic with lovely, friendly staff. I was visiting from out of town and needed to do a walk-in. Check their website for walk in hours, because the spots fill up fast! Go early to get a number and register, and they'll book a slot for you based on order of arrival. I had a couple hours to kill before my time slot so I took a walk around the area - lots of shopping and a few cafes/restaurants within walking distance. Even though they were so busy, everyone was professional and kind. Dr. Badger helped me, and I felt that she listened to my concern and gave me good care.

I couldn't be more pleased with all the staff at Ridgeview. From admin to nurses and the doctors; I'm always treated with respect, and a caring nature.

The absolute worst care, or lack thereof, ever. We came in with our little guy who was running a fever and had a badly infected mosquito bite on his ankle. They turned us away, “because their walk-in hours didn’t start until later”, even though the waiting room was empty and there was no one in the patient rooms (doors wide open so quite obvious) and there were staff standing around doing nothing. They had the nerve to make kissy faces at my child and say “oh, poor little guy, he looks like he’s really not feeling well” while telling us they couldn’t accommodate us and saying we might have better luck at the hospital. Absolutely pathetic and unconscionable.

I have been a longterm patient to this clinic. 15+ years. I have gone through 4 different doctors since I started going because they keep leaving and being replaced. 2 great, and 2 awful! Now I am told my doctor is gone and the remaining doctors cannot take on extra patients so I'm SOL. They cannot tell me if they are hiring doctors to replace those who left. I have friends who have been going for only 5 years to this clinic, but they're somehow OK to stay. The receptionists keep repeating that there are no family doctors in the Bow Valley and no one is taking new patients. I used to manage medical practices for over 20 years and would never let this happen. There's a reason doctors don't like this clinic.probably not treated well or being charged through the nose to be there. It's never a full wait room. I called around and miraculously there are doctors in the Bow Valley who ARE taking patients. Who knew? Badly managed, I feel sorry for the doctors working there and I'm embarrassed for them. I've never seen or heard of patients being abandoned like this at any practice I've known.

I have an amazing doctor there.but I've been trying to call for days and I can never get through. Really difficult to want to keep my doctor if I can't even get in touch with the clinic.

So this place is trying to charge me 200 bucks for a a missed appointment when I did not even live in town the manger that talked to on the phone was the most rude person I have ever talked to now they will not even help me unless I pay them I would recommend any where but this place just because of the rude office manger. I also need my proscription and was told by doctors not to skip days this lady tells me it's not her problem and I can't see a doctor go to the hospital so now I'm going to a busy hospital taking there time up instead of something that could have been done in 15 mins by phone.

Website says they're taking new patients.they're not. Website says they're doing Covid Testing.they're not. Website says you can pre-book walk in times.you can't. Even the message at the beginning says that if you're unhappy with the covid response, talk to your MPP.we don't have those in Alberta (they're called MLA's). Generally, a pretty disappointing experience. Although, the receptionist was friendly, after waiting about 20 minutes to talk to her.

I’m not typically one to write poor reviews. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, especially receptionists who I’m sure receive a lot of abuse in their days. However, this was absolutely uncalled for and I am quite hurt and frustrated.

I saw a doctor through the Telus Health app due to concerns regarding my lungs and heart. The doctor sent me a requisition for an echocardiogram and a 24 hr holter monitor after some concerns with an ECG. As I’m waiting for my upcoming appointments, the doctor encouraged me to visit a walk-in clinic so that an ‘in-person’ doctor can do a physical examination (lung sounds, heart sounds, blood pressure because how else would I know if I’m hypertensive?)

Today, August 7, my partner called on my behalf as I was sleeping after coming off night shift. I had emailed my health care card, ID and new patient form prior. My partner explained that an online physician had requested that I see a doctor in person and that I just required a brief physical exam. The receptionist began yelling (yes, yelling) at her demanding more information or they would not be able to help me. She recommended going to the ER which makes absolutely no sense as this is not an acute medical emergency.
In the end she said “If I book him in he’ll have some explaining to do. I don’t know that we’ll even see him for this. ”

In the end, my partner did not allow them to book me in. We decided that we did not feel comfortable with the level of professionalism at this clinic. It’s quite disheartening as I’m feeling quite anxious about the state of my health and yet I’m essentially being turned away.

Perhaps I’m missing something; but even so, it is absolutely uncalled for, as a receptionist, to yell at the people who call your clinic.

I was treated at this walk-in clinic last week while staying on holiday in Canmore and normally I don't write reviews but I just had to let any future customers know how bad this place is.
First of all they make you take your shoes/boots off before you even enter so you have to walk on the dirty grimy floors and carpets just in your socks.
Secondly, they made me wait an hour just to be seen even though there was nobody else in there, which can be understandable considering doctors do tend to get busy from time to time.
But what really irritated me is that I went in there for a really bad cough, migraine, and nasal congestion. The Doctor told me to stop taking over the counter medicine, & start using seawater nasal care.eventually it would go away. One week later and I am still sick with the same horrible symptoms and actually went to another walk-in clinic today and was prescribed antibiotics.
So over all, it was a bad experience and just a waste of time coming to this facility.

Walk in clinic, fantastic service, got there early, short wait, receptionist very efficient and noticed I was in pain so offered a room for me to lay down until Dr could see me. Dr had great bed side manner and calm demeanor.
