Great place to catch a game.our son's Sr. Highschool Football team had their playoff game at this facility. Plenty of seating, decent washrooms and they had a food truck which was providing warm meals and beverages. Totally enjoyable facilities!
Decent locker room, parking and stands. The field is not in good condition. Lots of dips, holes and needs to be upgraded. Good bones, just needs some work. Staff are accommodating and pleasant. There is much better turf available in and around Edmonton.
Beautiful as always, some picnic tables, tons of lawn and a playground. Great place to spend a sunny day there is also a spot to put your boats/yaks/paddleboards into the water:)
Have to say. Worst experience so far kayaking. Boat launch looks like a place bodies are dumped. The "river" if you can call it that is so choked with weeds you can't even paddle without stopping constantly to clear your paddle. Don't even bother going there. Just a cess pool. To bad, it could have so much potential
A great place to enjoy fishing, an afternoon walk, spending the week-end with your kids, or for birding and photography. I recommend visiting Rotary Park and parking there, then walking under the bridge to reach this place, because there is a playground for kids. Come here on a sunny day to enjoy nature at its fullest, as there is a great variety of wildlife such as swallows, blackbirds, beavers, ospreys, moose, and much more. Please respect the animals during your visit and follow the rules and regulations. Bikes and scooters on the boardwalk scare away and disturb nesting animals. If you want to bring your dog, I recommend walking along the trail, and not on the boardwalk because dogs can also scare off any wildlife nearby. Have a fun visit and stay safe!
I normally enjoy going but a kid was working the door and his demeanor was very arrogant and pompous if he's too good to work there just move on.the table was poorly wiped and left sticky.not much value for a wing night either will look to options before returning
Love bringing my boys here. Easy access to the river trail system, spots for fishing along the banks and a playground. Pack a picnic go for a walk and appreciate how lucky we are to have such experiences.
Numerous sports fields and a campground beside Sturgeon River. There is a walking trail that connects St Albert with Lois Hole Provincial Park on Big Lake.
This place is very popular and I can see why. It is clean, has a professional port-a-pottie onsite, good but limited and they put out a mobile dock and rubber mat's for kayak and inflatable launching. The bird life is abundant and a wonder to behold. Share the waters, keep them clean, continue to be stewards in managing this location to keep it viable and safe for many more years to come.
Great place for family and friend get togethers. In the area we were in, a little better maintenance as all the garbages were overflowing and looked to have been in that state for awhile.
Excellent place for a walk or to grab your canoe or kayak and go down to the river. It would be way 4 stars because the parking lot is usually always full, that could have been built bigger
Beautiful scenery, great for walks, dogs on leash, canoing, kayaking, bird watching. This year however the water levels due to rain every day for 2 months straight the paths under each bridge are closed off and you have to walk around and the dock had been closed down due to Im assuming construction which it needs to undergo. All in all still giving it 5 stars as it is a beautiful addition to St Albert.
Super nice. Easy access to the river, with a nice comfortable shelter for when it's raining or when you need shade. Good parking access that's close to the boat launch.
This is a lovely park with its walk way through the reeds with the local wildlife, it seems very popular with twichers, meaning people who photo the various birds on the lakes and in the reed beds. We did see all so people canoeing and fishing the larger lakes which is stocked with trout.
Such a beautiful place to go for a walk, really hear the sounds of nature, boardwalk is amazing, just gets you back with nature. So relaxing. Highly recommend
Nice park, only issue we had were the cyclists. They using the pathways for speedruns and not slowing down and discounting in the blind corner. They had the attitude we own the road and beep you. Great playground thou.
