Right Move - Moving & Storage

We have moved 10 times over the past 30 years and Alex was without a doubt the best mover we have experienced. The way he protected each piece of furniture was unlike any other mover and we had not one piece of furniture damaged. The care and attention he paid to moving things in and out of our home meant there was no scrapes or scratches on or walls or floors. Alex was easy to contact and very responsive to any request we had. He was always punctual and worked as long as needed to get the job done. This is a outstanding mover!

Alex tries to take advantage of your moving situation and over charge you tremendously. I had a 2 beds to move and he wanted $2,000.00. Alex is a fraud. Reading all of these reviews and it’s completely pathetic how many people are complaining about how much he over charges. He’s also older and only showed up with one helper. Didn’t make much sense to me. Save your money and do not hire Alex. Awful company. Wanted 2,000 dollars from me and I had already gave a $200 deposit to move 2 bedrooms. ALEX IS A FRAUD

Thank God i canceled one week before moving from edmonton to calgary. Please don't contact this company for moving you will be ripped off. Alex is rude and tough guy to deal with. We lost 200 dollars which he took as deposit I can understand if you cancel at the last moment the company can keep the deposit but we canceled I week before which he didn't not metion that deposit is non refundable. Alex will argue with you for no reason. He told the flat rate of moving from edmonton to calgary is 1500 to 2000. A week before I called to confirm he completed backed off and said it will be 5000 dollars. I canceled his services and booked a new moving company which charged me 1500 dollars flatrate for moving including fuel charges and wrapping your furniture.

One of the best services I received for moving my luggage. Alex is one of the humble, kind hearted and genuine person I have met, he is very responsive and always give me best quotation. In future I would definitely prefer Right Move.

I recently moved a house full of goods from Texas to Canada via PODS moving. Unfortunately, they had to go to Edmonton for Customs.
I arranged for Right Move to ship from Edmonton to my home in southern Alberta. Because the sale of our house in Texas was unexpectedly delayed several times, we had to reschedule the move 3 or 4 times before we had a definite date. Alex was very accommodating each time. When, after many delays awaiting shipment from Texas, Alex was very good in arranging the move, the first of two, and went so far as delaying a Toronto move to get me in the schedule. After loading 55' of truck and trailer on Friday arrived here early Saturday morning. Then he and his helpers unloaded the goods into storage and were gone by midday. Great job at both ends of the trip, and not one thing broken or damaged. And this was after fitting us in at month-end, the busiest time for movers.
Then, 3 weeks later, he returned with the balance of the pieces on a Sunday, cold and snowy, terrible driving conditions both ways, and never a word of complaint. All he would say is, " All part of the business"
Right Move, especially Alex, was very gracious to work with, very accommodating, and very hard working. Seldom have I met someone who treats you with respect and courtesy all the time.
It was a pleasure to meet and deal with Alex Kunin and his exceptional team.
Although I never hope to move again, I would call anyone else but Alex. Highly recommended to everyone.

Used Right Move for a long distance move across Alberta. Alex and Richard were professional, courteous and efficient. I really liked that took good care of my belongings and that I did not have to pay extra for the use of their blankets on my larger items. I would highly recommend using them and will be booking them for my next move.

Choose any other moving company. Expensive, slow (when paying by the hour) and the owner Alex is terrible to deal with. (He will say “he’s just a worker making $23 per hour” when he is the owner)

Took them 5 hours to move a packed/wrapped one bedroom apartment into the truck: additional 3 hours to move that into storage (8 hours moving = over $2100 bill for part 1)

Got frustrated and negotiated a fixed price for unloading into the new place (which included being yelled at by Alex) - took about 3 hours. ($2000 bill for part 2 including 3 months of paid storage). Save the troubles of this terrible company with its awful customer service and book anyone else for your in Edmonton move.

They are professional and respond well to situations when there is a variable in their work. Deliver the services the customer wants.

Alex showed up to my house and asked why I wasn’t moving myself, then proceeded to comment on the pet hair behind furniture every 5 minutes. He was directing me to clean as he worked, it was insulting. They moved very slow and it looked like it was on purpose. When offered help with unpacking he stated that they “like to unpack slowly”. It cost $1400 to move a 2 bedroom house 15 minutes away. I would not recommend.

They cancelled the move 4 days before our move date as they got a bigger job to go across country instead. Kept just telling me on the phone he would come the following week. We’ll that’s not how moves work, you have to be out by a certain date. Not worth the stress in an already stressful time. AVOID!

They were saver to me. When my other contracted mover backed out at the last minute and put me in a serious trouble for an inter province movement just before a long weekend, they helped me straightway. They are professional, courteous, and helpful. Though they might be more expensive then others but their service is "Value for Money"

They cause alot of trouble for my friend and her mom. They had to have the cops called to get them to leave her property.

If I could give a 0 I would. Right move came in last minute when I needed it and I am grateful for that. Charges are outrageous. I paid over 2100 for them to move my stuff but I didn't argue as I needed them and they helped me. Alex is very rude and will do anything to take money from you. I wish I had read and considered all the negative reviews. This is the worse moving company and they are dishonest!
He had all my stuff in storage and after paying him 2100 he wanted me to pay an additional 900 for him to deliver my stuff to my new address. I told him I could not afford that and I offered to Bring my own truck outside the storage location and have his workers load my truck and I drive off which would be much cheaper but he still insists that he has to deliver himself, and has pretty much refused to give me back my belongings. I had to get the police involved, iam getting the better bureau involved and going to court if I have to. This is no way to treat customers!

Not only is he a crook but he is a liar as well! I have proof of all our message conversations as well as proof of all the payments and all the receipts that I got. I was never out of the country! My brother was never in jail nor living in my apartment as my brother lives in New Brunswick! I was present the day of the move and I assisted in packing all my belongings. If anything I did all the packing!

From the time of my first contact service was excellent. I was confident I would move without hassle. My possessions were handled with care. Aleksandr was amiable, kind and helpful. He took the time to answer all my questions, even what may have been silly questions. The price was reasonable considering the amount of work that was required. If I ever move again Right Moving will be the company I call.

I would love to say iv never seen team work like the right move team they worked so hard I thought It was unbelievable they are good rated price on time and I will make sure to always call back or give a person in need of moving the right move number and share my experience they gave me

Horrible movers - WAY over charged, hidden fees alone hidden fees, took hours for lunch and billed for it. Owner is a rude man, sounds racist. Never have I paid so much for such a small move. Horrible! Avoid these guys at all costs, I’m not kidding, DO NOT USE.

I hired this company to move my 3 bedroom house. They were on time and very friendly. They also took extra care wrapping the furniture to prevent any damage. I would highly recommend using this company again in the future.

I was planning on moving from Southside Edmonton back north and I hired Right Move they sent 3 guys to pack my apartment and moved me to my new place I was very happy with there service and the final price was lower then what they quoted me they where on time quick and careful 2 thumbs up Thank you Calab, Gerald, and Tony for your hard work and thank you Right Move
