Ritchie Market

This is a wonderful place for a fresh coffee, baked desserts, freshly butchered meats, or a craft beer and lunch. Also, it is a wonderful starting point for a walk in Millcreek.

Love going here to Acme Meats. They are a true butcher shop. They will cut your meat the way you want it cut and will order in any speciality meats you mat want.

Went there for a birthday, 10 of us. Food was a little exotic and very good. Service was great.

Hidden unless you know the neighborhood, which is what makes it so unique. The cafe is delicious, and we stopped at Biera for lunch. I definitely recommend the beer-cheese nuggets.

Place was super nice and cute.
Downfall is that there is no gender specific washroom.
As a female I was extremely stress out having to use the washroom knowing a man can walk in at any moment. Highly do not recommend!

Went to duchess bake shop. The best macaroons I have had in town. But I was treated very differently by the staff. They were nice with most of the people. But I felt very awkward when the guy kept telling me the price of everything. That I felt very unusual. He or any staff didn't do that to anyone. But me. Anyways may be a person of colour they think can't pay. I hope they bring this change.

I absolutely love, love, love this market. For me, it's the combination of amazing coffee from Transcend, the croissants from Duchess Atelier, and the incredible meat from Acme Meat that make it a great way to start off a Saturday.

This is a real jewel in the Ritchie neighborhood. With multiple businesses inside this building, its like a beehive of activity inside. We stopped by to pick up some pastry from The Little Duchess Bakery.

Although I've driven by hundreds of times, this was my first visit inside. Living in nearby King Edward Park, I wish we could have a similar development to invigorate new life here. Since Ritchie Market opened, a tremendous amount of residential development has sprung up. Driving by, its incredible to see all the people coming and going from this gem.

Love this area! Super great to see all these local shops in one area. Especially love grabbing meats at Acme meat market, pastries at Little Duchess, and ice cream at Kind

Biera: This was my first time here as it is quite difficult to get a reservation on short notice. One thing to take into consideration is that even though it's a gastro pub, the food offerings are (mostly) set up to encourage sharing. The beer selection, as is fitting, offers a nice selection of on-site craft beers on tap as well as bottled varieties. I didn't really take a hard look at the wine selection but from what I glanced at, it looked good as well. As for the food, we started with a charcuterie of salami, cheese and sourdough bread. What made this interesting (and a little strange at first) is that YOU design your "board". There are various pre-set selections of items and you pick and choose. As I mentioned, this bistro encourages sharing. For mains, my partner had the pork shoulder while I had the pepper steak. Both were very tasty. We skipped out on dessert (too full) but there was a lot of selection there as well. Totally recommend.

Great space to come grab a treat, coffee and some meat for the week. Wish acme was open more often!

Nice little market with a good selection of food shops. A little on the pricey side but the quality seems worth it.

I love this market! Acme meat is amazing and the meat is locally sourced which is a huge deal for me and Transcend coffee has the best latte's.

Really cool place. The brewery/restaurant had good appetizers and great craft beers. The service was stellar.
