It's always a great place to visit, it's so pretty in there, the staff are always so cool, and they have so many interesting and wonderful things.

I moved to Calgary in June 2020 and found this store on Instagram. I spent a long time wanting to visit it, but couldn't because of the pandemic. Last year I had the chance to visit it and it was just as I imagined!
I've become a client since then. I'm astounded especially by the quantity of books that I couldn't find anywhere else, it's a great collection indeed. Besides that, the store is just beautiful, I wish I could grab a cup of coffee or tea and just spend some time sitting and reading there.
To make things even better, last week I bought some things online, but one of the products was out of stock and I suggested Richard (the costumer service) to choose some products to replace the one that was out. I told him that it was my bday gift and I was so surprised with the things he chose, it's like he read my mind! It was exactly what I needed, so this shows that the people who work there are very special and sensitive! I wish a lot of success to you all!

Absolutely BEST store I have discovered. The lady at the front was so helpful. She opened a book that was sealed so I could make sure it was exactly what I wanted. No one has done that for me before! She also let me see the tarot cards so I was impressed. I highly recommend Rite of Ritual if you're looking for anything really in that domain. Because what I couldn't find there, the lady directed me to another store and I found everything I was looking for

I love Rite of Ritual, it is a beautiful store with a ton of items and there is no shortage of variety! The staff are all super helpful and friendly.

Great selection of incense, they have authentic Nag Champa! I am so happy to have found an amazing, local source to get my incense from, as I have bought incense online many times before and have been sent inferior or fake products. The store has numerous options depending on your taste and they seem well stocked, also the prices were very reasonable. The customer service was very friendly too, the staff were very helpful.

I dropped in here while visiting Calgary and had a nice time. It's a pleasant shop, the staff were friendly and chill, and there was a lot to look at. They wrapped up my purchase extra well because I was flying out the next day. Really nice.

I just discovered this little gem of a store. So much stuff! I could spend all day and night simply looking around, I also could spend my life savings on things in here and not regret it. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Full of information and knowledge. I will definitely be going back.

Probably my favorite store in Calgary! So much variety of magical things and their book selection is huge. They also have cute stickers, pins, jewelry, notebooks and plants among all the magic goods. It’s impossible to go in there and not find something you love. The staff is always so sweet and started to recognize me after only a couple visits? They always help with my questions and are super knowledgeable and nice to talk to. Love this place so much

A beautiful, magical Shop filled with all things that make my spirit and mind soar. Always such a pleasure to wander around the store and take in all the wonderful energy it emits. Their online store is always being updated with all of their inventory. The photography and details on the products are top quality, which makes window shopping amazing aswell. Every staff member I have dealt with has been nothing but pleasant, kind and helpful with any inquiries.

What a thrill to receive my package in the mail. Care and attention to detail was obvious right down to the wonderful, crisp black tissue paper. A wonderful unwrapping to reveal the 3 gorgeous decks. The decks are works of art that I want to hold in my hands and admire. Gorgeous! I could not be happier! Thank you, Rite Of Ritual.

My friend and I where accused of stealing. I’ve been to their store many many times I used to absolutely love it there I have spent nearly 600$ there the employees where super nice at first but I was there with my friend and it was my friends very first time there. And they where sitting on the floor counting their change and had a personal item that is not from the store or even close to any witchcraft item and I told them I can put it in my bag because they did not have a bag so I did that and then the employees asked me to take it out and I grabbed it and showed them what it was. And then they said ok and they where being very u professional and rude and where talking about us saying very rude stuff to each other about me and my friend.then we kept shopping and my friend bought a pack of candles and then I went to pay and the cashier Gabriel told me to give her the pack of candles that was in my bag and I told her that I don’t have them but she can look through my bag to prove it because I don’t want to be accused of stealing and she said no then I told her a true personal story on how I had to use a spell to get rid of a very toxic friend that would always steal from stores and I said I don’t want to have to deal with stuff like that anymore and then I told her once again to look the my bag and she said she will trust my word, Then I spent around 67$ or so, there and left. Then me and my friend take the train and then walk all the way there again a few days later and an employee told us to leave because a pack of candles was missing (even though that day my friend bought a pack of candles) and they told us to leave when we did not do anything and now we are not allowed back in the store but even if we where I would not go back they where rude and their treatment to their customers is very uncalled for.

This is a great store, I've been there a few times. Their selection of books, crystals and other products are diverse and great quality. The staff there are fantastic, they even let me bring my little dog into the store. Their prices are pretty fair and I love supporting their local shop.

1st of All. You get Welcomed when you come into the Shop. The "feel" is of positive energy. They are genuinely Happy to See You.

I was there a week ago for a tarot deck and came back today for 2 specific books.the Staff are so Very Helpful and Knowledgeable and are happy to answer questions, share experience and knowledge.

Definitely a Place to Expore and Enjoy.

Had a good variety of substance to the clientele who would frequent this store:

Books, candles, sage, stones, and various resources and tools regarding astrology, tarot, tea leaf reading, etc.

I found their approach to customers okay. Nothing bad, nothing fantastic. They seem to be a decent resource if you have questions.

Took my girlfriend here because she's been really interested in this kind of stuff lately, honestly I thought it was awesome as well, so many cool things in this store, amazing staff that were very helpful, will definitely be going here lots for my girlfriends witchy needs.

I recently made an online order.
I initially emailed some questions, as I couldn't make it into the store. Their customer service answered thoroughly and was very helpful at narrowing down my search. I chose to shop with them for the abundance of books they have in stock! So much temptation!
I made my online order, it was shipped out same day and I received in two days. It was lovingly packaged, with a sweet note written in the receipt.
Will definitely buy again!

Abelism and not fully accessible.

There was a specific product I wanted and instead of buying online I decided to seek out this shop on my trip to Calgary.
Preparing for this, I tried MULTIPLE times over more than one method to try and get ahold of this shop to ask if they burned anything in store like some shops of this type do. I did this because I am deathly allergic to sage and I try very hard not to wind up in a life or death situation as my health is very fragile already.

Because they would not get back to me I had to take a gamble at going into this store in search of the items I wanted. As soon as I walked in I knew I was in trouble, they were burning sage. But I drove 3 hours to go to this shop and two others. My throat and eyes immediately burned but I was exposed so I thought I'd ask if they had what I was looking for and I said I was sorry but I was in an extreme rush before this allergy got out of hand and I'd have to use my epi pen. Maybe I didn't speak loud enough but the worker took her slow time checking for the product and telling me they had none.

They were lucky I had an epi pen. They were lucky the mask slowed down my reaction a bit, but this shouldn't have happened and I did everything in my power to not put myself in that situation.

Because they refused to answer all attempts of contact prior to my travel, my life was put in jeopardy. They're lack of accessibility made me feel ashamed with myself and ashamed that I have allergies like this and as I'm still in pain a day later my feelings have turned to anger and frustration because of the abelism at play here.

You can't say all is welcome and that you're accessible but then burn scents that put people at risk and their health at risk. I got lucky, the next person might not be so lucky. I'm just so disappointed that I walked away injured and empty handed.

Really beautiful shop, nicely organized, beautiful products. I would have given a 5 star but the two female staff members ignored me the whole time i was in the store.they where very very cold and unwelcoming.

My ultimate favourite place to go for your spiritual needs and guidance.i’ve had a reading done a few years ago and it’s helped me plenty.the staff’s knowledge and passion really help you feel welcomed and interested.and the stock alone will keep you coming here, the best selection i’ve ever seen! An absolutely beautiful locally owned & ran shop that has magical details in every nook and cranny you look! From the wallpaper to the small knick-knacks, you can see there is absolute immaculate attention to detail and quality. The employees are always very friendly and willing to help you whenever you inquire about certain items. Even though I am fully vaccinated, I continue to wear a mask in all public spaces, and privately owned businesses; I especially respect that this location continues to strive to protect the health its employees, patrons and the environment of the store. It’s certainly a shame people think having wearing a mask effects how awesome this store is and the experience of shopping in it. I will continue to support this business masks required or not. The best metaphysical store in Calgary hands-down!

Glad to see this place is thriving and busy on a Saturday afternoon, good social distancing, hand sanitizer everywhere, and of course a giant selection of crystals, tarot, books, plants, decor, and locally sourced teas, bath soaks, candles, ethically sourced sage, and so on. Definitely a must visit and I hope it stays open and busy for years to come.

Honestly when I first came in it felt like a new age hot topic but it really is way more than that. Cedric IS the vibe oh my. He is so knowledgable and brings a really warm energy to this place. His expertise when it comes to astrology is extremely impressive and has inspired me to follow in his footsteps in a way. The staff really make it a dope experience everytime and there are a wide variety of tools and Crystal's. And to be honest, the best book selection in the city.

I love the atmosphere of this little witchy shop. The shop itself is very beautiful. There are many unique items from tarot cards, journals, books, crystals, candles ect. I also shopped with them during quarantine and the service was wonderful.

Went to the shop when they reopened and I would definitely recommend going there as the service is A+. The clerks are really helpful in helping you with your needs and are very attentive.

Of course Rite of Ritual blew me away yet again! Going into Calgary of course during these times made me a bit uneasy but all my concerns were blown out of the park when I went into Rite of Ritual. VERY diligent with sanitize/mask protocols and making sure everyone is as safe as they can possibly be. A huge thank you to the shop and staff for making us feel safe and feel a bit normal again. Definitely will be back!

Really beautiful energy inside, the staff is super helpful and really able to help identify what you are looking for. I went in for a rose of Jericho and couldn't remember the name, I described it to her and she knew right away. Have shopped here a few times now, not at all disappointed.

Came back for the reopening and was turned off by the manner in which the staff treated me. A younger guy met us at the door and was pretty abrupt about with his greeting, and the new rules about the store. I was with my friend and her daughter who was under 2. We were told we had to sanitize our hand, however if we touched our mask, hair, face, or person we had to sanitize again. Then he wouldn't let my friend in because her daughter didn't have a mask on. We tried when we first came in, but she kept ripping it off. But city bylaw states any child under 2 isn't required to wear one. But he persisted and even gave one from behind the counter. He said if not, they can't come in. So they left, and I quickly went to grab what I had came in for. I was blown away by this. Then I went and grabbed my sage stick that used to be $7 and has now gone up to $14. Saw a deck off cards that were beautiful, but won't pay $100 for. Just let down the last couple times I've been there with inflated prices and staff.

I recently submitted an online order with this lovely shop and received it today. I'm living in Nova Scotia, but previously lived in Calgary. I don't have enough good things to say about this shop and the people who work there. It is so beautiful and the items are so lovingly procured. Everyone is so kind and helpful - two things we certainly cannot have enough of it this world! I recommend this shop to anyone, from the novice to the experienced. Always a fantastic experience. An amazing and beautiful store filled with magical and intriguing items. They have crystals, incense, candles, oils, books, clothing, jewelry, household accessories, tarot cards, workshops, and the best customer service I've ever experienced!

Throughout this pandemic they have offered local delivery and they are so fast to fill your order and have it in your hands ASAP. I ordered yesterday and they were kind enough to deliver it to me the same day, with a text notifying me of the delivery happening. I let them know how long I'd be around to receive the package and they did some switching around of deliveries to accommodate me. Who does that? Only the best store in the city! Definitely give them your business. You'll make friends, find the most sublime items to help you in your journey, and regret nothing.

I love these wonderful folks so much! Very often they have in stock what I'm missing and need in a hurry. Staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and usually remember me by name. I attended the tea leaf reading 101 workshop and it was amazing! The store is a wonderful escape from the world outside, I always feel instantly calmer and happier the moment I step inside. The ladies who run the store are very friendly and helpful, I go as often as I can!

Really cool shop to check out in the City. They have a large selection of items. We went looking for tarot cards, they have a good selection for decks. Only gave it 4/5 because you can find all of their products else where (especially online) for slightly cheaper and staff are not super friendly or offer help.

The store itself has an exquisite attention to detail and making it feel very inviting and relaxing.
