The reception staff and doctors here are efficient, caring, and helpful. The clinic is clean and comfortable to visit.

This clinic is by far the best I've been to. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I primarily use this clinic for walk-ins as it is close to my work and I have never had an issue with wait times, I go on my lunch break and I am in and out so fast with all of my concerns looked after.
Dr. Neufeld is amazing, extremely knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about his patients health. He is great at addressing the immediate issue, but also takes the time to provide alternative solutions and next steps to ensure a long term result rather than rushing you out the door like most walk-ins do. 10/10 recommend!

Greeted with friendly staff. Dr. Kyle Everndon was amazing and compassionate. It was a great experience.

I would like to remain anonymous because I’m still a patient at this clinic, but just with another dr.
I love riverbend medical clinic, never had any issues with any of the staff except for one dr.
Dr. Elwani. I started seeing him about a year ago, I thought he was great, until I felt like he didn’t know what he was talking about.
The first incident, i was telling him I was trying to get pregnant. He looked at me weird and said “well, are you married” and i was like…. I’m engaged but I’m not sure why that matters.
The second incident, he told me I needed to get off of my antidepressants, because I’m pregnant.and I said that was fine, and he told me I had a WEEK to get off of them. And switch to another medication. Just stop taking it. Cold turkey. (I was around 20 weeks pregnant at this point). I said okay. I’ll try, but I thought it was weird that a dr suggested to just stop taking my medication.
The third, and final incident was a few weeks after the previous appointment and I told him I was having a really hard time getting off of my medication because of the withdrawl symptoms. He did not care, he didn’t show any compassion, and he actually got mad at me and told me I needed to get off of them. He made me feel like a bad mother, for “putting my baby at risk”, and like a weak person because I was having a hard time quitting a medication I’ve been on for 4+ years- cold turkey. I started crying and just left the room. I felt so defeated because he wasn’t helping me.
Fast forward to now, I’m 30 weeks pregnant and I booked an appointment with Dr Neufeld. He is AMAZING. When I told him what medication Dr Elwani wanted to put me on, he looked at me, SHOCKED. And said this is not a pregnancy safe medication.

The doctors routinely leave early and don't honour their posted hours. NOT reliable for their walk in clinic hours. I am sure their staff are nice and competent but one can't rely on them to staff walk in doctor as advertised. I have tried on several occasions to give them my business and sadly each time they are not staffed. Kinda makes you think that having the doctor (s) leaving early or not providing the advertised walk in service is contributing to the un necessary clog of non emergent patients at urgent care or emergency rooms? ‍️

Really disappointed! Waited months for a meet and greet with the advertised doctor accepting new patients. I was excited that he was young and could possibly follow along long term. He stopped listening after I named a few medications and said we were incompatible as he would have to make a plan to wean me off. I was happy to hear that he wasn't a pill pusher.

However he would rather not do the work and make a difference for a patient. I also lose out with the pain clinic that I have been dealing with. Even a physiotherapist I've dealt with for years. Very upset with wasting all that time when I could have been asked a few screening questions over the phone if that was his mindset! Could you please help find a doctor in the primary care Network?

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a doctors visit in my life. Dr Elwani made me feel unheard and actually laughed at me while I was expressing my concerns during my appointment. Furthermore he simply brushed me off saying everything was fine without offering an explanation or offering the testing to rule out the things I was worried about. I would never recommend anyone to visit him at this clinic!

Amazing experience with Dr. Neufeld and all the staff at Riverside clinic. So refreshing to find such a great clinic. From the second you walk through the door you are warmly welcomed be reception. They treat you well, see you quickly, have just an overall great experience. Everyone there is super friendly and helpful and Dr. Neufeld is such a great doctor. I'd give it 6 stars if I could!

Dr. Hanna is not respectful of patients time, always running behind, and rushes you out the door without taking your concerns.

I called to book an appointment, and the lady at the front desk was rude ended up telling me I should try and get a new doctor instead of telling me the times available, and than said I would have to wait till February for a meet and greet with the new doctor even though I said I didn’t want a new one

Staff are very kind and helpful, neat and clean waiting rooms as well as patient rooms. Got an iud consultation and insertion here, I was very nervous but Dr. Hanna made me feel very comfortable and let me stay and lay down after the procedure.

Stood outside in line with my sick baby for half an hour this morning to be told that "Riverbend Walk-in Clinic" does not accept walk ins. Don't waste your time.

Dr Emadi is wonderful. He has gone out of his way to help me for many years. Very knowledgeable, professional and kind. I especially appreciated all the support in the past 2 months when I had 3 surgeries.

The receptionists/nurses were great but the doctors that suck here. Came for a checkup and said "you dont really even need this" and when I asked questions about a condition doc said I needed to see a specialist but didn't refer me to anyone. Seemed like he was in a rush and paid little attention to my concerns. Visit another clinic.

We are new patients of this clinic and we are very impressed. First of all, everyone at the front is friendly and accommodating. I was treated with great respect and there is almost a sense of calm in the waiting room. Second of all, we are patients of Dr. Neufeld and he is amazing - genuine, caring, willing to listen, willing to make a plan, and incredibly knowledgeable. I didn't feel judged at all for asking questions about my health. We are SO happy we switched clinics after 19 years with a former doctor who became grumpy and unwilling to listen to us.

If you don't mind to wait over 15 minutes to speak to a receptionist on the phone and being charged $100 for being late book your next Dr appointment at this place!
I genuinly hope this $100 contributes to everything this clinique and its doctors need even though they would have made me wait 20 minutes to see a doctor anyway!

They never answer the phone! Even to book an appointment I have to drive 30 mins to get there just to book an appointment with my family doctor and this is not even due to Covid, it’s the 3rd time I have to drive just to book an appointment. I’m thinking of switching the clinic and my family doctor because I don’t have time to drive there every time if I need to talk to someone!

My appointments are one time. Staff and friendly and helpful. I like the online booking option for appointments.

Appointment time was double booked. When I was able to get in, the Dr was very dismissive of concerns and was more concerned on getting to the next patient.

This clinic has facilitated my son's father addiction to oxycotin for the past 10 years. It is stated on the College of Physicians and Surgeons website that doctors are to ween patients off of oxycotin and most doctors will only prescribe oxycotin on a one time basis yet this clinic continues to facilitate a drug addiction. It is not for pain but strictly due to addition he continues to be prescribed oxycotin. Many lives have been negatively effected by his drug addition being facilitated. He has been a completely absent father who does not support his child in any way and does not function at all. Despite being very skilled in the trades, he is being supported by tax dollars and is not a contributing member of society, due to his drug addiction being facilitated. It is disgraceful for doctors at this clinic to be drug traffickers and facilitate a drug addiction which has destroyed the patients life and so many other lives.

I am so happy I found Dr. Emadi through a referral from a friend! He is extremely caring and thorough and never rushes you. I’ve referred everyone I know here and they all feel

Dr. Hanna is a wonderful family physician. She is patient and always on time and the clinic and staff are always clean, polite and extremely helpful. Best experience in years with a doctor’s office.

I’m very happy to have family doctor in Riverbend Medical Clinic - Dr. Seredycz! She’s very caring and attentive. The staff is friendly. We had family doctor in Cranston, he always said that you have headaches because everybody has, my husband’s blood pressure is high because he’s old (51), and the same weird explanation (he doesn’t care) … but with doctor Seredycz we know why I always have headache and my husband’s high blood pressure and more. We know the reasons and work with them together with doctor! Our doctor and all staff, thank you for your big job, for your energy and your care!

The doctors here are absolutely wonderful and caring specially Dr. Mir Karimi.but unfortunately the receptionist are horrible hardly even pick up the phone when you call.every time i have to wait for 15 minutes minimum.

I have called many times and have yet to get a hold of anyone. I sit on hold forever and am tortured by the constant playing of the song "let it be". PLEASE get more reception staff and change your hold music.

I went to this clinic for the first time today and had a wonderful experience. The interior is very modern. The front staff and the doctor were all friendly and helpful. I received excellent attention and care from the doctor. She asked helpful questions and did not rush the consultation. Thank you Riverbend Medical Clinic!

Dr Emadi, he is the best doctor i met in Calgary. It been 5 years now he is taking care of me n family. He has been helping me in the most difficult time in my life. The staff are amazing n very friendly. Great job Ladies n thanks u all. Willy

This medical clinic is amazing! All the front staff are wonderful however my doctor is quite possibly the best doctor in the world. Dr. Karim has been taking care of me now for a few years. I left my previous doctor of thirty years as all I was getting was pills. She deeply cares about each and everyone of her clients. She listens to everything you need and will reach out to get you in to a specialist, physio or anything that will help you to get better. Front desk and medical personnel that take weights/blood pressure/etc are amazing. Very patient, polite to deal with. Only had one issue where some info was not relayed to the doctor but not a big deal. I have stopped going there because of the doctor I used to have. I will not call her out by name. I brought in my born 7 week early preemie who spent 3 weeks in the NICU for her first checkup. This is my first child. Were told it was a 10 minute appointment and we were out in less than that time. We were rushed and unable to get all our questions answered. Then I got 2 phone calls from the clinic saying this doctor wanted to set up a phone call. I set it up and when she called she told me she had 5 minutes and what asked what I needed. Uh, you told me to call you. This was it for me. Found a new amazing family doctor. I don’t even mind driving across the city for this new one. Were even referred to a specialist for an issue with my child which should have been caught very early on.

Dr. Tarchichi is the absolute best! He is very patient and kind with my mom. Candice is always super helpful as well.

I always find this clinic to be very professional, and waiting times are minimal. The Dr’s are informative, and excellent bedside manner!

Had a mole removed on the top of my head today. The staff was friendly and got in early for my appointment. Doctor was nice and took good care of me. A+ service keep up the good work.

I was having a very difficult time coping. When I walked in to the office, Ashley was absolutely fabulous at comforting me. She got me in to see Dr. Shahrestani immediately. He took the time to talk to me regarding my visit and never once made my feel like we had to rush through the appointment. Very, very great experience. Highly recommend! Thank you Ashley.

I was not impressed by the service and wait times.

Says most people spend 10-45 minutes here and I came during one of their least busy hours, but I still had to wait for over an hour.

I’ve come to see doctors here a few times and every time they seem very rushed to get through with me and to the next patient. I’ve been cut off while talking and had to leave with unanswered questions about my symptoms.

I wish there was another medical clinic in this area. If you’re able to drive to a different one a bit further away, I would definitely do that.

The worse clinic ever would not recommend it to anyone. My husband went in to get his hand checked out because it is swollen and he waited over an hour when he was told it would be a half an hour. When the doctor saw him he said that there was nothing to worry about and he needed to get and ultrasound and a x ray done and gave him nothing for the swelling.

I am a complicated mess, live with chonic pain for years.

1st thing id like to express, through all this Dr Hanna has been the best family doctor Ive had. She not only knows her stuff, she is so compassionate and listening, understanding and supported me in so many areas, including a lawsuit that caused all this. Ive been to a series of professionals over my injuries etc and she is the only doctor I trust with direction and opinions. Today you just cannot find a doctor today like Dr Hanna. I am truly blessed to have her as my doctor and supporting me in all medical areas I have.

2nd. Ashley at your front desk is an amazing girl. When my dad passed and my anxiety was harder to control, she just brought warmth of belonging and comfort when im in there. She made a point to come around and say “ you need a hug” we are hear for you!
The entire team makes you feel comfortable, so kind and understanding!

Riverbend Medical Clinic is the BEST clinic by far! The Doctors and front staff are caring, thorough and very professional. We use skip the waiting room and Never wait long at all. The girls always greet us with a smile and my children even hug their Doctor on the way out. I have never been to a clinic that cares so much. I would give this clinic 10 If I could! I have seen the manager give a sick woman water and hold the door for elders. My kids love to sit and play or read books while we wait. I can’t say enough good things about Riverbend. I even follow them on Facebook to get inspiration from their positive quotes! Perfect clinic for busy parents. I would not go anywhere else.

The clinic is friendly and helpful. Dr Hanna is amazing! Kind, thorough, on time, and friendly. She is also my young daughter’s doctor and my daughter actually gets excited to see her and the staff! The interactions I’ve had with the other doctors there have been limited but always positive. I highly recommend the clinic and Dr Hanna.

This clinic is very quick and the doctors are highly knowledgeable. Ashley and Isabella are both terrific and highly competent at their jobs - all of the staff is very welcoming and very friendly. Fantastic clinic!

Very quick? Really? Maybe some customers are VIP. Those reviews are really fake! After I waited 3 weeks for an appointment, I went there and waiting for another 20 minutes. After you check in you must wait another 10,15 minutes until the doctor arrive. This is ridiculous. Our time and money is not important. They are not able to manage their time. This is a business to charge more from Alberta Health!

Even though I work at the clinic, I was there as a patient. My visit ended up being an emergency and then Candice ended up calling 911 for an ambulance. I received such GREAT COMPASSIONATE CARE from all the girls and physicians until the EMT arrived. I haven't been at work for almost a year due to illness so this review is coming as a patient. Mark the manager has done a fantastic job! I'm proud to see the level of care given to me from a patients perspective and you girls ROCK!

I'm not one to post online reviews, but praise is due. This has been my clinic ever since I moved to Riverbend nearly 30 years ago. The clinic has undergone some changes over the years. At one point, the service was so bad, I wouldn't go even if I needed to.

With the changes over the past couple of years (including a complete renovation), the Riverbend Medical Clinic is now a model other clinics should follow. One small but significant change is that the walls are no longer paper thin. In the past, you could hear the conversation next door. No longer.

The online booking is easy and efficient. When I walk in, I'm greeted immediately by the receptionist. Where I used to wait nearly an hour for my appointment, I don't think I've sat more than 5 minutes before someone takes me to an examining room. The staff is cheerful.

Once in the examining room, I don't think I've waited more than 5 minutes for Dr. Emadi, the best doctor I've had in my life. I like his no-nonsense approach, which is not to say he isn't personable. He just makes sure you understand what's going on. What I especially like about him is that he caters his care to my lifestyle. He knows I'm active. He knows I play sports. So his treatment is geared to get me back on the ice, or in the gym.

Overall, I feel like a guest when I go there. I feel respected. RMC seems to have hit upon the right formula for running a business while providing excellent care.

Don't ever step into clinic if you actually wanted to be treated like a human being.

I had an appointment with Dr. Rania Hanna.
She is soulless, heartless, makes you feel stupid for asking medical questions about your health issues. I have read other reviews about her and her patients had the exact experience as me. What is the point of being a Doctor if you don't have the compassion for other people. The pharmacist at a Costco could see me struggling and feeling scared as I picked up my new prescription. She took into her office and answered all my questions and gave me resources and contact info for more professional help. (Something Dr. Hanna should of done for me.)

I'm sure her management's at Riverbend won't do anything about her lack of effort to help a patient. Her presentation of information to a patient is absolutely the worse I ever encounter.

Fair warning to all who enter this heartless clinic.

(she deeply cares. I hardly think so. She is the worse Doctor I have ever encountered. She made me feel like me asking questions about my health was the most annoying thing in her self absorbed world)

I do not want a follow up appointment with Dr. Hanna. (I already found a more compassionate Dr.) I had to hold more of my tears until I could call my Mom because I was so devastated by the lack of professional medical advice I received. It took me an hour to calm myself down so I could drive home safely. Let this be her wake up call and remember why she became a doctor.

The doctors don’t have too much time to listen to your problems and they seem always busy. If you are looking for a family doctor suggest u go somewhere else

Dr. Emadi is and amazing physician and person. He has taken care of my entire family since 2016 and I couldn’t be happier.

The staff is amazing! And Dr. Shahrestani is the definition of a great doctor who cares about his patients. He listened and took his time not rushing me and understood what I was going through! I will be going to him from now on.

Regan that works at the front is fantastic, helpful and friendly at all times. She is there to help in any way she can. Don't like to go to the doctor's but when she is working she makes everything seem better

I've been going to this clinic for years. It's seen some major renovations and changes over the years (for the better!). I wouldn't go anywhere else to see a doctor.

The staff are not very friendly and not helpful at all. The doctor's are even worest they run you through there like a drive threw, they don't take any responsibility to talk to you if you are not their patient, they just tell you to make an appointment to see your doctor.never will go there again.

Scheduled an appointment for 2: 00pm. Left work to attend. Still had not seen the doctor at 2: 30pm, when I decided to leave. If you value your time, i'd pass on these guys. I guess its there "policy" not to call me and tell me they were running late. I would have had no problem with that.

I'm sorry to have to write this but this place was awful. I went in there at 3 pm. There were a few people in there and the lady at the front said it would likely be one hour wait. I waited for one and half hours and only about six people went in the entire time? Was there another door in the back or something? It wasn't busy at all and despite the fact that only one Doctor might have been working, at 1.5 hours I asked for an update on time and she indicated there were still three people ahead of me. I had no choice but to leave.

The staff member was nice but stay away from this place unless your family Doctor is there. The wait times are ridiculous - even when it is not that busy.

I have gone to this clinic for approximately 13 years. It has gone through several changes over the years with ownership and various doctors. I find now all the front staff are very friendly and helpful. I see Dr. Emadi as my family doctor. I would rate him as the best doctor I have ever had. I am approaching 70 years old. He is thorough and friendly but he will not put up with you not helping yourself to get better. He truly believes in his patients. You don't leave his exam rom unless all your questions have been answered. Mark and Eric the new owners are trying very hard to address all the past problems to make this a great place to go for medical care.
