I purchased a snowmobile helmet from the website and they told me they needed to cancel my order after they had taken my payment. The payment was made over the weekend and the money has still not been put back into my account and it’s Thursday.
They did not honour the prices from the website and they backed out of a sale after taking my money which I still do not have back.
I would not recommend dealing with this company and my experience has been very bad.
I don’t think they will do anything about keeping the original sale because it is now inconvenient for them and they don’t care.
So much for trusting what you see on the internet, should have gone to a store I know and trust

Bought my first motorcycle here. Have been a fan since. Always check with them for new purchases of any related kind. Fantastic people to deal with.

Bought a new bike because they said it was under warranty. Had trouble idling since day one. Had to book a time to get it fixed. When I finally got it in…this company charged me to fix it.

Three separate organizations operating with similar names in St. Albert. Confusing for sure.

They don’t have a late -Thursday evening for shopping any longer, so as long as you can get there during regular business hours or on Saturday they will take care of you.

I just recently purchased new Klim Boots from Riverside Motosports.
What a difference in customer service compared to my regular place of business where I purchased all my other Klim Product.
I wasn't ignored and a young man by the name of Brody was more than willing to listen to what I was looking for in a boot and was very knowledgeable on the product. He made it very easy to spend $$$
They didn't have my size in their large inventory but jumped onto the computer and started searching his warehouses. The willingness to help was refreshing. I really like the simple text they send when the boots were in. I didn't get to thank Brody personally when I picked them up but I had a very nice young lady help me to make sure they were the perfect fit before leaving the store. She made me try them before paying and leaving the store with something I assumed would fit.
Thank you and I will be back again with great service like that.

I can say for sure that I've had a bad string of events with riverside. That being said, Danny was our salesman. This made the all difference. Riverside, you better know how lucky you are to have him on your team. 5 stars for Danny.

Few months late with review. Purchased new bike, Ryan bent over backwards to accommodate me. Very helpful bunch. They stayed bit late after closing time to help load bike up and to make sure I'd be OK on my long journey back home. Placed a few orders through Riverside in past few months, customer service was exceptional. I will definitely keep doing business at Riverside and highly recommend to everyone.

My husband and I purchased a Polaris Slingshot in July and had an amazing experience from start to finish. Jeff (sales) and John (finance) were easy to talk to, set us up, and got us out the door as happy people.

The machine is a fun ride and my spouse and I are both happy with it. I will be recommending Riverside to friends and family, whether upgrading their ride or gear. Fantastic people, fantastic service, and fantastic experience.

Service department that makes appointments and provides service!? Yes please. Have had my machine in twice for work, super happy with the pricing and quality of work both times. I'd strongly recomend bringing your ride here, and know that your in good hands!

Well this establishment seems to have pretty well anything and everything that involves an engine (motorcycles, quads, snowmobiles, electric bikes, generators, pumps.) and all peripheral equipment to accompany ones purchase. They carry a lot of stock and are local. Yes, people can buy online but your know, let's support our local businesses. I can well imagine how much their product carrying costs are. And an added bonus, you actually get to interact with some good people who I found very helpful.

Ordered a oil change kit from Riverside Motorsports last week, received order confirmation but no shipping confirmation. Today is Friday of the following week, there has been no update, no reply to emails inquiries that I have sent. I don't think it has even been shipped yet!
***Update***
Received a call and apparently they have sent me emails which I didn't receive. I did check junk/spam folder but there was nothing. Anyways, they reacted quickly and I have just received a shipment confirmation from Canada Post minutes after talking to them on the phone.
Will update again once I receive the actual package. (estimated to be next Tuesday)

Good service.never felt rushed. Answered our questions without making us feel stupid. We bought 2 helmets that were priced right for us.

Parts staff are super helpful, spoke to devin and he set me up. They did what all the bike shops in calgary couldnt, had my parts in stock and shipped to me in 2 days.amazing. I'll recommend them to anyone

People ask why support local businesses? It’s all service. Whether you spend $10 or $10,000, they look after the customer and that’s why I go back again and again. I am still loyal to Riverside after 30 years.

I've sent multiple emails enquiring about a new Yamaha T9 GT and have not got a response. If you're a salesperson and someone wants to buy your product shouldn't you respond?

Parts department on the Yamaha side of the shop was run in a quick professional manner. They knew their stuff and didn’t attempt to upsell me at any time. These guys and gals are awesome.

Awesome guys to deal with! Parts department is always friendly and easy to deal with. Most basic stuff like oils, belts and small items are in stock or they can have it to you within a week. Most things I get shipped to Fort McMurray and usually get them next day, if you make the cut off time for shipping and shipping charges are very reasonable. Just a side note: when ordering parts give them your Vin # this will insure the parts are the correct ones for your unit.

Oh well, was planning on buying two electric quads, a dirt bike and and a quad for me.

Dealt with this guy name Warren (some like that) and tried to pull a fast one on me. Added all the extras that i didn’t ask for or even talked about on the final bill. I still gave them my business anyway (should of walked away) and then they were finding excuses to not deliver the bike to me (15km away).

They are not the only dealer in town. Go elsewhere.

Bought my second bike here again and made sure i didn't deal with the same finance guy. This time around, i am happy with the experience THANKS to Jon, Ryan, Dean, Mackenzie (sorry if i spell it wrong) and the lady with the pin-up girl tattooed on her arm (sorry, never got your name). They were super helpful and made sure everything went smoothly.

One small thing though. Usually you would try on something and then they would grab what you want from the backstore, but instead, they just straight up give me the shoes and helmet i tried on. I wish i wasn't buying the store demo because my helmet was missing a chin curtain.

Had ok service from them before getting parts. This time they took my money for a ordered tire. Said it'd be here in 2-3 days. Called yesterday was told by it should be here today. Called today and was told it hasn't shipped yet and will be week or 2.

Disappointed. Probably won't go back to them

Found the self checkout kiosk at Walmart to have more insight then the riverside parts department.

Required a key for my 1983 honda aero 80.
They still had 2 key blanks in stock. Imagine that.
The parts guy was able to recut my keys from scratch.
Lots of free parking. No line for parts counter.

Won’t see me go here again!

They like it.do they only treat me right.
By asking me if I’d like my parts faster by faster shipping, instead of prob can’t get it for while.
They give me good deals and a smile!

I came up from Cold Lake to buy a dirtbike and I could not be happier. All the staff were absolutely amazing. Very helpful, very friendly. Just an all around awesome experience. When it's time for me to buy a new machine in the future, I'll be taking my business to Riverside.

The service was great but. I wore my mask like a sheep. Your sign said I had to and I'm just tired so I wore the useless thing. I regret wearing it now. When does this end? We all know that masks don't work to stop by viruses so can we please stop this silly charade? Your poor employees can't breathe and it's bad for your security too. This is an abuse of civil rights. When this changes, I'll edit and give you 5 stars. Please, stand up for our rights to not be deprived of oxygen. All sales will go online if this continues much longer and that would be very sad for us all.

My boyfriend and I went down to Riverside Motorsports this past weekend to find some riding gear for him. We were happily assisted by a young man, by the name of Brayden. He took extra time to help find the right helmet for my boyfriend, all the while having an enthusiastic and positive attitude! Thank you, Brayden, you made our shopping experience one to remember!

New to buying bike accessories and gear, Mackenzie was SUPER AWESOME to work with. She went through multiple options, always told me to go with the “what feels right” instead of the most expensive option. She was extremely knowledgeable on all the products I was looking for and made me feel comfortable- even for a rookie that was blown away bu all the accessories & gear available. So I wanted to get my first motorcycle helmet and decided to call riverside motorsports. The lady on the phone was super pleasant, incredibly helpful, and answered all of my questions fast and accurately. Unfortunately, my entire visit didn't go the same way.
I spoke with three different women in the helmet section. I was trying to price match the helmet considering I could get the exact same model and size from a different retailer for $200 less. The first lady wasn't quite sure how to help so in came the second lady. Lady #2 (because I forgot their names, oops) was super helpful, ready to help, and most of all, clearly wanted me to enjoy my visit to their store. Lady #3 however was definitely an interaction I regret. She came over to explain how price matching works.first of all, I had to choose the most expensive express shipping available. Then she made up a new tax rule on the spot that I would be paying 13% in alberta (definitely illegal). And last but not least, made me feel like I was a burden to the world and that I was single handedly going to cause this company to go bankrupt. Almost wanted to say nvm, I'll bring my business elsewhere. That's when lady #2 (bless your kind heart) stepped back in, made me feel like a valued customer, and made my visit a pleasant one after all.

All said and done, I will be bringing my business back there ONLY because of how well I was treated by lady #2. I don't remember her name, but short dark hair, very very nice lady. Thank you anonymous lady #2!
