Freightliner parts cheaper than the Freightiner dealership? Yup! Same parent company for Western Star, so RJames has access, even inventory, on parts! Exhaust brake housing and hardware pictured was about 23% cheaper than the big guys, same warehouse/delivery ETA. Will 100% be back, hopefully not too soon tho ;)

Not a good experience, I'm just a driver, but after repairs done here, truck broke down twice to the point of having to fly home from Augusta to Calgary, my advice to management at dealership is, DO NOT release a unit that is not completely repaired.

I called and spoke to a wonderful lady in the warranty department regarding deleting my truck.
The only thing she said they could ethically delete was my radio presets.

Call for Parts VERY frequently & unlike MANY of the other HD Shops around Red Deer, I ALWAYS get great Service & even if the person may not know the exact answer, they will tell me the truth that they are unsure but will get back to me quickly with the correct answer, rather than just make something up. 5-STARS ALL DAY as it's always a good experience anytime I call them!

Scheduled truck in on there date truck sits in there yard for 5 day until you call, then they start to work on it.

This my second time I get screwed by them first time I thought it’s winter lots of truck breakdown but this time to fix harness they it’s 3 hour job I book my truck for Monday I called them on Tuesday for update the lady at service counter name Sydney told me it will be ready this after afternoon i book my load according to there eta they provided me but I didn’t receive any call from them then I again call them at 4: 25pm to have updates she said it won’t be ready till Wednesday late morning reason is we don’t have mechanic I request specially to Indian community don’t go there they will give you hard time better to go Detroit or elsewhere

These guys are great. They are straightforward they give you an honest quote and get the job done. Just like all commercial shops these days they are busy though.

Beware, in 2018 I had my driver drop off my 2013 W star hwy truck because the dd15 engine was not running well. They had the truck for nearly a week and spent numerous hours diagnosing and changing sensors and unnecessary parts and stuck me with a $7400 bill. Shortly after releasing the truck the engine started to sputter again. The driver limped the truck back to Abbotsford western star where they gave the engine a valve set and changed the air cleaners and it ran fine after that.

Rjames Calgary is easily one of the best dealerships in Western Canada. I've been doing business with them for almost five years and I have zero complaints.

I just went there to get service done on coolant leak lines. Charged me $1900 just to fix that and when they returned my truck my inverter and microwave was out of order. It was just working fine before I gave my truck for service. When asked they are blaming on me that it was not working. I am going to take this claim to the court. As this is not fair. They try to make things out of order just rip of customers. STAY AWAY.

We're able to help me with my broken air line, even though they didn't have a service technician available to do the work for me.
