One of my favourite places! It’s so relaxing at this spa and the little details really make all the difference. Refreshments and snacks in the waiting room, cold lavender face towels, robes, shoes, quality shower products, and a great pool and sauna space to enjoy. Very happy to go here on a regular basis!

I have been seen Yohanna for 4 months now and she is probably the best RMT I have ever had. She understands your body and understands how the body works and it’s the perfect harmony. I am a RMT snob and she’s got a repeat customer in me.

I recently spent this past weekend at the spa, and received a Weekend Lavender treatment from Anton. He was kind, attentive and helped focus the massage on my right shoulder where I had sustained an injury that has lead to lingering side effects from my physio treatments.

I can't wait to return to the spa for my next treatment. A special thanks to all the staff there, as they make it worth it every single time.

I’ve been going to this spa since I was a child, every visit has been incredible! The staff are kind and well-trained, the atmosphere and amenities is like no other!

The facilities are heavenly. The treatments are professional and relaxing. I rebooked upon leaving. Well worth the price.

I would give higher stars for staff, however certain things were very disappointing. I am not sure if the ownership changed but now the pricing went up and the manicure or pedicure doesn’t include paraffin, it is an add on. Also the polish is very cheap quality it came off right away. I had to take it off the same day. For a 75$ pricing it is very disappointing.

Massage therapist Rema was extraordinary.

Maria Mendoza is the best massage therapist I have ever been to… and seeing as I have a lot of sports injuries all the time… I have probably been to 1000. And she’s not just good at fixing me… I asked for a relaxing massage recently and it was equally incredible. Oh and the spa is lovely too:)

Nice enough, though the space feels small given the hotel's capacity. Disappointed the steam room is still closed - that was a big draw in choosing where to hotel during my trip.

Used to be one of my favourite spas for massage services. I even had purchased the Wellness membership for 3 months. When I went in near the end of March/2023 of this year they told me however that my membership had expired. I asked them why as I had paid for March?

They claimed that actually they had charged me for March on February 28th. And that they charge every 30 days not at the beginning of the month. So in actuality my March benefits ended March 28th? They offered no other explanation, the male manager was extremely short and rude. I left without dispute but that is one of the most ridiculous policies I've ever heard. Over $200 wasted in the month of March for this silly adminstration rule. Will not be returning ever or spending money at a location that doesn't accomodate their long standing customers.

There are much better, more affordable spas that won't be pretentious and will be more understanding of these types of things. I received no heads up about this and assumed a monthly Wellness membership meant you had it for the entirety of the given month. I feel dismayed to leave a bad review, however I feel others should be notified of this as there's no indication of it anywhere.

Mixed feelings about our visit to the spa. My wife brought me here as a gift for father’s day. We had a couples massage which was outstanding.

The massage itself and service around it was really good. We were welcomed gently and the staff made us feel comfortable.

The bad part is that combinations for both our lockers were both changed while we were enjoying our massage. Considering that we both changed the locks to codes of our own and that a key is needed to change the code back again we can only think that someone from the staff did it. We saw at least two other people that had the same problem.

When we questioned the staff about this their response (or lack of it) was perhaps even more alarming. They basically brushed it off as just a simple confusion. Dan and Melissa at the front desk of the spa told us that somebody had they would have to investigate since hotel staff and guests also have access to those lockers but offered no other follow up.

Another lady who seemed to be a manager approached the desk a bit later and asked them i she could help with anything, both Dan and Melissa said no. I approached the other lady who was really surprised by the situation but offered not additional follow-up whatsoever.

Maybe it’s just me but trusting that our stuff was safe during our massage is more than expected, especially at a Fairmont. The lack of response, follow-up, etc was even more surprising.

Long way of saying that massage was great but hard to come out with a good feeling when this happens.

***Update*** Someone did try to use one of our cards but we were able to place a lock before they did. Just terrible.

Had an amazing massage and day at th spa. Felt like a great escape from the city. Appreciated the self serve coffee station.

Worst massage I have ever gotten, used to be good pre-covid. Seems to have gone downhill, girlfriend also got a cup of water that was used with lipstick on it. But more importantly, worst massage ever. So bad. It was more of a rib cage re-arrangement. Wrote them an email but got no response, wouldn’t go back 1/10

Overall my experience here was quite disappointing.

I had some issues parking and with traffic and ended up being a hair late for my appointment; I understand this is my bad! However I did not need to be faced with snarky comments immediately upon arrival from two different receptionists and my masseuse. The spa was not busy, I booked a last-minute appointment time and had tons of open time slots.

Regardless of the fact I was late (I understand this cuts into my time as I need to check-in, change, etc.) the treatment was still fully wrapped a few minutes early from the original appointment time? My appt.was 3: 15pm, I had an hour-long massage and when I got up and checked my phone it was 4: 12pm. How does that make sense?

Massage itself was very lackluster, masseuse repeated the same 2 or 3 manipulations all over and that was it. Every move felt rushed and incomplete. The apricot body scrub and aromatherapy was a nice touch.

I was very lucky to have gotten the pool and hot tub to myself after my treatment, loved this. However, I was super disappointed when they told me the steam room and fitness centre were shut down.this was a big draw for me and should have been communicated in advance of the booking.

The locker room was small and squishy, even with just a few other people. Showers were super run down. My lock actually ended up not opening, so I had to walk back to the reception desk in my robe and slippers after a shower.not ideal.

AND, to top it all off. I was told self-parking would be validated. I asked the receptionist specifically post-treatment if I could go to a quick dinner after and if it would remain validated.the total at the exit was $28, and the parking ticket only covered $6.50 of it! Wow.

For the price it is, and the fact that this is a Fairmont spa, I was very disappointed and it just missed the mark in more ways than one. Would not recommend.

What an absolute waste of money for a “Spa” experience; very disappointed.

My esthetician – Chona was fantastic and did an amazing job but the rest of it – leave it and go to ANYWHERE else to get a spa experience.

Change rooms are small, run down and lack many of the amenities they state they have online.

Parking was an absolute disaster – they do not inform you that you need to register in advance to use the valet service AND all of the parking that was to be included in the stay was closed off due to the Calgary Marathon (happens every year and they should be prepared and notify you) ; which caused huge traffic delays and parking issues. This could have been easily alleviated by putting a notification on their website OR from the team member who I was talking to on the phone regarding the appointment. Front staff upon entering stated they didn’t receive a phone call regarding support for the parking situation, even though I left a voice mail asking for assistance…

The pool looks like there was a chemical spill and the pool noodles they provided were ripped up and missing pieces.

The sauna is closed and there is no mention of this on their website.

For a premier facility in Calgary, it was disappointing to say the least.

While the massage experience was okay, there were several little disappointments that detracted from the overall experience. The pool and hot tub were crowded, and many people were speaking loudly, which was not conducive to relaxation. Similarly, the lounge area was noisy and distracting. Furthermore, the quality of the snacks provided was subpar, and they were not replenished regularly. Overall, the experience was not as relaxing as I had hoped it would be.

Tabitha's hands were magical! She was super professional, and her experience shone through in the quality of the massage. The rest of the staff were friendly and the whole experience was definitely a splurge but a nice self care treat.

It’s a sanctuary in the center of very crowded downtown. My husband and I love this place for a day get away and we enjoy the amenities and wonderful service. Will definitely come back again soon.

I had such a great time today at the RnR Spa. I got there an hour early to utilize the sauna and a dip in the pool. It was very refreshing and relaxing. Then I had a two hour massage with Andrea. It was the best massage I've ever had. She was extremely thoughtful and thorough with tackling my musculoskeletal issues, including trigger points, scar tissue, and TMJ. She improved the range of motion in my neck and was extremely gentle and was constantly checking in with me to make sure I was comfortable. She has a very happy and pleasant personality and was a joy to chat with, but also makes it very comfortable if you feel like relaxing without chatting. Near the end she did a scalp, hand, and foot massage with essential oil mist. It was wonderful! Highly recommend!

Excellent massage with Lisa, to par with what I expect from Fairmont hotel’s spa services.
