Come here every time I am in Banff. Treat myself to a nice ring. Definitely on the pricier side, cheaper stores in Edmonton. But it is a novelty and I like supporting these businesses.

I am a huge crystal junkie and HAD to come in for a wander before my trip in Banff was over, and I’m so happy I picked this place. I knew I wanted a piece of ammolite, but I can also admit, it’s a stone I wasn’t very knowledgeable in. The staff were great at helping me find my perfect piece and giving me everything I needed to know about the origins and development of this beautiful gemstone. I am so happy with my new piece and I will be coming into this store whenever I pass through Banff.

Yes, like other reviews, prices are high on some pieces. But you get what you pay for and I have no issue paying high for a really special piece to add to my collection. The selection in this shop is beautiful and everything is laid out very well and easy to find what you are looking for. Go experience it for yourself! If anything, you can say you have seen some really beautiful things.

Purchased from them and they told me they would bubble wrap the item. It was not bubble wrapped under the tissue (unknown to me as they said bubble wrap multiple times and I said it back to them as I was concerned for the piece.) so it got a large crack when I packed it in my bag, (which I had shown them and they said would be safe for the piece). Very disappointing considering the amount I spent I wasn't given bubble wrap or a box of some sort at all for anything. It was basically tissue and a plastic bag for expensive minerals. All in the same bag.

Sadly if this is how minerals are packaged for the customer I can not recommend they waste money on beautiful specimens just to be trashed unless they bring their own packaging knowing this flaw.

Do not spend too much time here.you may end up buying stuff!: D The store is an eclectic collection of very cool gemstones and fossils - both Canadian and from around the world. The fossils looked well preserved. We bought a jade bear as a souvenir to commemorate our visit which felt more unique than buying a mug. They offer shipping on some of the items but not all. They have a website for online purchases off their physical store. This store is definitely worth checking out. I didn't think I'd be interested but I was surprised to find myself browsing through their displays and reading about them. They even have meteorite collectibles! Staff was helpful and knowledgeable.

My 10 yr old just went to the store and bought a rock without my knowledge. I kindly go back to the store to explain the situation and ask for a refund. Store stands behind there no return policy. Even after speaking to a manager, they still wouldn’t make an exception. I get it, stores have policies, maybe you should have a policy about taking money from children without parental consent.

A must visit, Interesting store. Learn about origins and historical facts about stones, gems, and the site locations. Prices vary from affordable to thousands. Staff is welcoming and helpful.

You have to be careful with this place. Sometimes you'll find a good deal. However, most of the stuff is overpriced, and occasionally you'll find something labeled incorrectly or even something fake.

Today, I found a few fluorite rings mixed in with the amethyst ones and priced the same. Fluorite is a much cheaper material and far more breakable. I brought this to the notice of the clerk, who said he would speak to management, but whether he actually will.who knows?

I also found a fake malachite bracelet mixed in with their "high end" bracelets. I brought that to the attention of another clerk, pointed out how to tell.and she thanked me and put it right back. Caring not at all.

I have bought a few nice pieces from here. They have a great selection and many beautiful pieces. You just have to be careful.

This place has a huge variety of rocks and gems to choose from for a wide range of reasonable and affordable prices. The staff here were super helpful and knowledgeable about the products. I appreciated how each gem I bought came with a little description card with it after purchase. If this kind of stuff is something you are interested in, I definitely recommend checking it out!

As I walked into the store, I felt overwhelmed by the vast selection of beautiful jewelry, unsure of what to choose as a special gift for my daughter's upcoming birthday. Luckily, Lisa came to my rescue with her warm smile and genuine enthusiasm to assist. Thank you!

Beautiful store! Beautifully organized & friendly staff. I purchased a piece of terminated quartz with green tourmaline inclusions here. It was a nice addition to my collection. Will be back next time I visit Banff.

Incredible store. Obviously and understandably way out of my budget, but they have a lot of cool historic fossils and rocks on display. Great staff.

A must stop when in Banff, great store, so many cool, beautiful items. Should have walked in with more cash. Bought some jade bears last time I was there. Gorgeous. Online was a breeze as well. My absolute favorite store in Banff, if you love rocks and gems this place is a goldmine of large selections.

I ordered online for my multi crystals bracelet. Lauren was so helpful and able to find me an extra crystal as my bracelet was a bit tight, and I picked an outstanding bead. I rethread it now looks amazing. I love it.

You need to stop here if your in Banff! It is an amazing store, so much to see and so many fossils. I bought a dinosaur tooth for my brother and he loved it. Customer service is wonderful, the girl I chatted to knew so much about products in the store, she really helped make my choice. Do yourself a favour and stop here, so worth it even if it’s just for the experience!

The impeccable customer service of Josh, Amanda, Elizabeth and Isaac this morning blew me away!
