It was wonderful to leave busy work schedules and stress at home and find ourselves in nature with the sounds and views it in tails. It was so rewarding not having the internet rule our every move, we had great family reconnections and fun time playing games and going for walks.
We would recommend this to anyone who would listen.

You can't even dream up a place like Rocky Mountain Escapes. The gorgeous log cabins, the local trails, the peace and quiet - not to mention our wonderful hosts Julia and Gary - we can't wait to go back again.

My husband and I had a lovely time at this little mountain getaway. The scenery and views were fantastic and our hosts were very welcoming an attentive. It was a great place to unplug and relax. The cabins were beautiful and so homey with a wood burning fireplace. I know my husband loved cooking on the big outdoor griddle.

My husband and I loved our stay at Rocky mountain scape. The cabin is beautiful, so clean and cozy. Gary and Julia are very nice people, so kind and great hosts. I don't have anything to complain about it. We highly recommend and for sure we are going back! Thank you for everything.

I had the most wonderful experience at the Rocky Mountain Escape Log Cabin. Peaceful doesn't even describe the serenity and beauty that I experienced. The cabin was gorgeous, the walking trails were breathtaking, and the hosts were ever so kind. I will definitely go there again, and feel comfortable referring this escape to friends and family!

Great hospitality, great location. Best way to disconnect from day to day life. Gary and Julia have really put in the work and made this getaway an amazing place to stay. I would highly recommend.

1st visit and definatly not the last! Spent 3 nights and everything was perfect. Off grid and not having to do a thing but unplug and relax. Perfect! The cabins are amazing. We recently spent 2 nights here and it was fantastic. The cabin is amazing, super clean, had everything we needed and couldn't have been better. Quiet and peaceful with spectacular scenery, this place is a gem. Julia and Gary are excellent hosts and super knowledgeable about the area. We will be back to experience this again in the summer.

Amazing location, it was so good to get out there and disconnect in the fresh mountain air. They had everything we would need for the weekend, except your food, but they stocked coffee and tea for us! We can’t wait to go back and bring some friends!

Beautiful cabin and very welcoming hosts. Was great to be able to bring my dog along being a solo traveller. Lots of access to trails right from the cabin and many more a short drive to rock lake.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Incredible hospitality, extremely clean cabins, gorgeous scenery and wonderful to detach from wifi and cell phones. We will be back!

The perfect way to unplug and escape normal life for a bit. Beyond Peaceful and cozy, even in the -40 weather, beautiful views and trails to explore. The hosts were very hospitable and friendly! We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay at the Rocky Mountain Escape! The location is beautiful with views of the mountains and river. From the cabins you can do several hikes, we did a hike following the river. Rock Lake Park is close by which is also a beautiful place to hike. The cabins a fully equipped, they have every thing you need and are very cosy. Julia and Gary are great hosts, very friendly and helpful and made our experience even better.

Absolutely loved my recent experience out at Rocky Mountain Escape Log Cabin Rentals. The location nestled in the mountains and the view and surrounding trails are absolutely breathtaking, and the cabins are beautiful and really comfy. The hosts Julia and Gary were very welcoming and helpful with information on the surrounding area and hikes and walking trails nearby.

I went out hiking two times and I must say that Rock Lake and the nearby lakes are absolutely gorgeous and a must see in both the summer and winter times. I plan on going back and staying at least once a year from here on to get way out in nature and completely digitally detox again. 10/10 and I couldn't recommend checking this place out enough, words just don't do this experience and scenery justice!

Our stay at the Rocky Mountain Escape Log Cabins was a highlight of our trip to Canada. We loved the cabin and being in the mountains, hiking, relaxing or sitting by the fireplace. We were there for four nights in September and would have loved to stay longer. Great time of the year for our hikes and to get cozy by the fireplace in the evening. We would also love to experience winter there!

Julia and Gary are exceptional hosts, very hospitable, nice to chat with and fun to be around. Cabins well equipped, nothing was missing. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. It was outstanding and just perfect to unwind!
