Rocky Mountain Plumbing and Drain Cleaning

Requested a plumber for a clogged kitchen sink. Indicated he needed to cut of the traps under the sink, I aslo asked him to unplug a slow bathroom sink at the same time. Provided an unbelievably high estimate just under $800 and then indicated that he did not have an auger or the necessary tools to clear the drain, that it would be an hour for him to go back to the shop to get the necessary equipment. Paid their fee just to drive there and do the estimate of $82.95 Contacted another company and the job was done for less than one quarter of their estimate, no driving time fee, and very fair rates from a competitors company. I would never recommend this company.

Kale, Todd, Kevin and the rest of the team updated our furnace and boiler and we couldn’t recommend them enough.

They worked overtime two days in a row tow get our job done and left our home clean each time.

The guys were professional, courteous, polite, and skilled.

Highly recommend Jason and the team of Rocky Mountain Plumbing. Our septic tank had some issues on a Saturday evening and Jason was able to come over the same day to help us get everything in order for us to be able to use our bathrooms! So happy with the service we received. The biggest slow down in the whole process of getting our heater running in our garage is the city. Who spent less than 5 mintues on site confirming the Rocky Mountain Plumbing did a good job and that our heater was done properly.

Life changes quick and the sad thing is we bought and booked this, and then when it was almost done decided to move.

The good news is I already know who I am going to for the heater in our next garage.

Will and Gary did a great job of augering and ‘jetting”? My kitchen sink and stack. Very professional, and polite and will most certainly pass your company name onto friends.

They appear to be very disorganised. I've used them several times for work at rental properties and despite my efforts to explain, they showed up at rental properties witbout proper notice. I would NOT recommend they guys because they can't follow simple instructions and charges are high.

We have used Rocky Mountain Plumbing and Drain Cleaning on numerous occasions for the installation of a new water heater, water softener, water filtration, gas fireplace service, and humidifier repair. Everyone I have encountered, including Jeff, Jacob, James and Kevin, are incredibly professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend Rocky Mountain Plumbing and Drain Cleaning to anyone!

September 1/22 Update
I let Kale know that I was not happy with the servicing and the wrong toilet that was installed yesterday by someone else who was sent to do the work. I also understand mistakes happen sometimes no matter how good your business is.

Kale responded right away (which he has previously done) and came over in the evening to fix the previously serviced toilet that was still making water sounds long after being flushed. Turns out it was a defunct new part that has been replaced and now flushes great and is silent between uses. Thanks, Kale. When I voiced my concerns about the incorrect toilet that was installed, he assured me he would get the correct toilet and install it himself.

Again, I’d like to say I understand mistakes happen and the most important thing is how a business addresses these mistakes. I am keeping the five out of five rating as I have faith that Kale will follow through on his word and install the higher end American Standard toilet that was agreed on before. I will write an update once everything is done.

Previous Update: Kale also installed new parts to two other toilets and again explaining what was done and how the toilet would be more efficient. After he left, one of the toilets started making continual water sounds long after it was flushed. When I contacted Kale to let him know he said he’d come back across town that day to fix the problem. Since he was coming in a few days to replace a different toilet as prearranged before, I mentioned it would be fine to wait until he came in a few days to install the other new toilet. I will write an update once this work has been done.

I was referred to Rocky Mountain Plumbing by a friend as my toilet had leaked causing water damage. I am very pleased with their professionalism, workmanship, and upfront honesty. Kale took the time to explain what caused the problem and what needed to be done, as well as showing me what was replaced after the work was completed. In addition, options were given to me that would help save money and prevent future problems. I highly recommend Rocky Mountain Plumbing to any homeowner.

We were having an infrared garage heater installed and Rocky Mountain Plumbing was highly recommended to us by Calcana. Jeff responded to my call right away and was very prompt to come by and provide the quote. Stef and James installed the garage heater today. Their work was well done - neat, clean, and they were pleasant to deal with. We will be using them again in the future for any of our plumbing needs. Thanks, guys!:)

Found my hot water tank leaking in the basement. Figured that I'd probably be gouged heavily due to it requiring an expensive off-duty/weekend replacement installation. Boy was I ever WRONG!

I gave Rocky Mtn Plumbing a call and was pleasantly surprised to talk to Justin who walked me through the whole process. Sent him some pics of my existing tank and he promptly got back to me with a few different quote options to choose from. Selected the 50L Bradford White Defender series tank as my upgrade and the next day Justin picked up the tank, gave me a courtesy call to let me know that he was enroute to my house and a few hours later my new tank was completely installed. Not only that, he also corrected an exhaust pipe and a sewer line that were eyesores in my mechanical room. Not to mention, he was also kind enough to replace the humidifier filter on my furnace that was long overdue. Needless to say, Justin was very professional to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate to give them a call back for any future Plumbing or Furnace service needs that i might have.

Overall, my experience far exceeded my expectations. I paid a fair price for an extremely quality installation that although was an expensive repair to swallow, i never once felt like i was being gouged or taken advantage of. Well done Rocky Mtn Plumbing! Give them a call, you won't be disappointed.

Camera inspection of below grade drainage to locate degraded section of pipe that will need to be replaced.

Corbett came in today from Rocky Mountain Plumbing and Drain, he had the problem nailed down on our leak in ten minutes, and had everything fixed and cleaned up in under a half an hour, awesome service, would highly recommend Corbett for any plumbing you need done! Great work!

Adam and Jacob both arrived with a great and positive attitude. They problem solved a tricky kitchen faucet install plus brought my kitchen sink up to code. They make a great team. I would absolutely recommend them to my friends and family for any future plumbing needs.

My old water heater started leaking like crazy. I called these guys and Jacob came out and installed a new one. The old half-lead pipes, reversed original install, and mess of old plumbing (leftovers from a water softener and humidifier) gave him a really rough time and didn't take well to being worked on, but Jacob came back and got it done even though it took much longer than a usual job and a LOT more effort!
Thanks to Jacob, I have hot water, no leaks, current plumbing, and the plumbing is WAY cleaner and simpler than before he showed up!

Just bought a older semi detached house that had poly b piping in it. Gave them a call was given a quote over phone. Okayed the estimate and scheduled the work. The guys texted me to say they are on their way. Arrived 30 minutes later and started work, the guys (James (b) and Jacob, found multiple places where previous owner had tapped into poly b and then replaced with Pex pipes, they made sure all the poly b was replaced with as little holes made. Job was finished on time and very close to estimate (I had also asked for 2 shower valves to be replaced (they were leaking). Overall very satisfied with workers and company.

I live in Canmore and used this company a few times. They are very responsive and helpful. I ended up needing parts and they had them in stock and onboard the service truck, and another time I had to replace my boiler. They were able to source it and show up early the next morning for the replacement. Top notch service.

I called them as I needed an emergency repair (I was without water as I had to turn it off) they came out within the hour and within no time the two shut off taps under my sink were replaced as well as the shut off to my hotwater tank replaced. Fast, efficient and a neat job done! Thank you.

Very impressed with their service and quality of work. Our plumber Jeff completed the work quickly and was very friendly and professional.

They were willing to provide an up-front quote on the phone for standard work. I got really turned off with other companies playing games and not willing to provide a quote for work until their tech their was on-site. If you didn't like the price you were still out $80.

Answered immediately and very prompt in setting up early appointment time. Excellent communication and a job well done.
