I’ve had an awesome experience under the care of Dr. Peacock and Dr. Jensen! They’re both great and exceptional!
*edit- called last week to get an update with regards to my request (med cert), receptionist was rude. Just before i say a word she would cut me off straight answer “I’m not sure” with a tone. The previous receptionist were amazing and super friendly.

I had my baby back in April 2022 and now my daughter is just over 1 year old. I had such an incredible experience with our doctor, Dr. Nowry. This was my first time being a mama and she was everything that I needed to help guide my way through this pregnancy. She was super empathetic, knowledgeable, communicated clearly especially when I needed clarity on anything, and extremely kind. Oddly enough, when my water broke she was the doctor on shift at Rockyview at the same time so it worked out perfectly. I felt even more safe and comfortable as she knew my history and was able to advocate for me as well. I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Nowry as she is, if not the best doctor to have along side you during your pregnancy journey.

Just booked a consultation and IUD insertion and the receptionist was extremely professional, very flexible, and super kind! I was offered a day that, unfortunately, didn't work for me but she managed to squeeze me into a day that was much closer and much more convenient. Extremely professional and kind, not many people like that around these days, well done Rockeyview Maternity!

What's the point of making an appointment if you are going to wait close to an hour after your scheduled time?

Had Dr. Sloper for my first and Dr. Denesuk for my second child's pre-natal appointments. They were the most excellent doctors I've dealt with in a long time. Any time we had a replacement doc.they were just as great. They came prepared and had read my chart so they knew a little about my history before the appointment. Nothing but good things to say about the entire office.

My doctor here seems very good, the reception has always been friendly and my appointments have always started relatively on time. My one complaint is i was forced to have a phone appt with a nurse named Marilyn prior to meeting my dr. She is awful, the absolute worst if they say you have to have an appt with her refuse and ask for someone else. She is demeaning, speaks on things outside her scope of practice and will generally leave you feeling like a scolded 12 year
Old that's trying to cause harm
To your unborn child. A stress
You do not need. This call is a complete waste of time. I immediately made an appt the next day to see my family dr and asked for a referral elsewhere. She convinced me to still give the clinic a chance. This nurse should retire.

I have been using this place since I got pregnant and was referred by my doctor. The doctors are good and experienced. I have been seeing Dr. Ross and Dr. Nowrie. The only issue I have is that they do not keep to time. If you have an appointment for 10am for example, you might not get to see the doctor till 10.30am or even later. Overall, it's a good maternity practice

Dr. Crickard and Dr. Kennedy are so caring and professional. I was very lucky to have my Doctor Dr. Crickard deliver my baby. The nurses and receptionists are all very friendly and sweet. I have the best experiences here compare to my previous maternity clinic near the T&T in North.

From my experience, the doctors at this clinic are not patient enough. They don't talk to patients nicely. I regret to having chosen this clinic for my wife's delivery. I will not recommend this clinic if you want good experience.

I am currently sitting eating my lunch in the maternity ward before being discharged to head home, after having my twins 2 days ago. From 6.30am on Thursday when we checked in, to now, all I can say is this has been an incredible experience. My babies, my husband and I have been so well looked after by everyone. Despite being short staffed, everyone is so caring, making sure we have all the help and support we need, with smiles on their faces the entire time. The idea of having twins by csection was nerve-wracking and daunting, especially when the risk to twins is higher than single babies, but had I known what faced me in advance, I would not have been so worried. I had my first child in a different hospital a few years ago and that experience was very stressful, even though I had a straight forward pregnancy. This is why I opted for Rockyview this time. I could not be happier with my experience and would do it ten times over than what I went through with my first. They are simply amazing at what they do! So much so that I wanted to take a few mins to write this review before we go home and our lives are all about babies. I will forever be grateful to the amazing staff here.

We had an appointment booked to see Dr. Kennedy. Sadly we got our times mixed up with all the appointments we have at the moment. When I called to apologize and reschedule, I was put on hold for 20 mins and was forgotten about. I called from my other phone and they answered right away. Receptionist answer was they’re very busy, as if that should be an excuse to forget about someone on hold. When I went to reschedule I was told about $150 fee for missing the appointment when this was never previously discussed. Unhappily I agreed to pay at our next visit, but someone was interjecting in the back ground said I need to pay now!

When I asked why I never got a call for being late, or why I was still on hold, the answer was just “we’re very busy, can’t get to everyone”

Receptionist was very rude and not accommodating what so ever. And based on the other reviews this should be be a shock.

We have chosen to look elsewhere.

I had a great experience with the clinic. Dr Laurie Ross is wonderful, very caring and supportive. All other doctors there that I have seen during my pregnancy were great too.

I was a long time (late-1980s) patient with this clinic. My original family doctor moved away however, passed me onto one of her colleagues. After a few years that colleague reduced her hours and I ended up being transferred to a third. I had my two children there, however I could not tell you who my designated doctor was, nor who ended up delivering my babies. The personal touch was lost, I just became a shared patient.

I injured my knee quite badly in a cycling accident. After expressing my ongoing pain and discomfort, and that 2 years after my injury, and having made multiple attempts to have this looked at and taken care of, nothing had been diagnosed. The staff were rude and completely dismissive of me while telling me that I just don't belong there anymore because this clinic focuses on babies, my knee was not a priority. After explaining that this is my family doctor for my children and myself for the last 30 years, never did I get notification from the practice that they had changed their focus, they proceeded to tell me that it doesn't take high intelligence to figure out that this is a maternity clinic but they will book me an appointment anyway if I would like. The doctor expressed that the staff are in charge of running the clinic how they see fit. That was my last appointment.

They never resolved my injury, nor did they ever call me to follow up or set up an annual or follow up on the testing where I was apparently on the 18 month waiting list for and I never returned ever again. So where they say family practice be aware that maternity is there preferred revenue and the staff is more then willing to tell you to get lost.

Just had our first baby in Nov 2020. I was referred here by my family doctor, the support and care we recieved here was phenomenal
Dr. Sloper and the entire team were so caring and patient with all the questions I had as a FTM. Most of my appointments were with Dr. Sloper, however a few were with other doctors due to their schedules. I did not mind it as all of them had access to my chart and the care given was the same. I also loved the fact that they would always check with you if it was OK to have a resident in training to attend the appointment.
My pregnancy was during Covid times and they did all that they could to make sure appointments were smooth and provide phone consult where possible. Postpartum care was also 10/10. Dr. Kennedey and Dr. Lee, along with Dr. Sloper made sure I was OK to return to normal life.
I would highly recommend this clinic.

Absolutely in shock with how terrible of an experience I had at this clinic. First, as others have said I found the receptionist very short and unfriendly. The nurse I had my first meeting with made me feel as if everything I had been doing was wrong even though I had been told by two other doctors that's what I should be doing and it's not like she was nice about how she worded it either. Then I finally have my meeting with Dr. Kennedy and she completely ignored my spouse till the very end when she knew she had lost me as a patient and was trying to cling on to him, hoping he liked her enough to be like some sort of life raft. My experience in that office with her was that I was nothing but a number and a dollar sign, that my birth plan and wishes did not matter and she was going to make me do everything her way. When I did ask her one question about the difference between her care and that of a midwife as I'm a FTM and am curious of all my options she became very unprofessional and offended and proceeded to go on about how she is incapable of providing the same level of care because the cost of her practice and amount of patience doesnt allow it. And how everyone always treats them like they arent going to respect your wishes and just do whatever medical interventions they want during labour and delivery. Not once did she actually answer the question. And after how you treated me through out the rest of the appointment I felt she was just saying these things cause that's exactly how she had made me feel it would go the entire time and she saw the dollar signs of another patient slipping away. Regardless of if I decide to go with a midwife or not I will definitely never recommend or return to this office.

I chose RGH for my first pregnancy and had an excellent experience. Dr. Ting Ting Li was simply excellent and supported us very well morally. We always looked forward to our appointments with her and would beam with joy after meeting her and talking to her. She used to address all my issues perfectly and patiently and would just have such a calming effect on me. I would highly recommend Dr. Ting Ting Li to any would be mom. She's more than a doctor! Last but not the least, all the nurses and duty doctors were very caring and supportive.

Dr Jensen is actually the best. 10/10. She’s ALWAYS on time, and has the most kind and caring personality. I feel so comfortable with her and hope she will be able to deliver my baby

I had a terrible experience here and switch to a midwife towards the end of my pregnancy. My appointments were ALWAYS at least 30 min late. The first one was one hour and fifteen min late. My husband left to pay for parking two separate times on the second time they took me in and saw me for 5 min and my appointment was over when my husband returned. I found the doctor very cold and robotic. I would never go back. Also, when my midwife asked for my file they were reluctant to send it over and were saying they would charge a large fee.

Worse Doctors ever, sent me home on my delivery day to get killed, they knew my due date was couple days earlier and despite of that this madam CHARLENE KENNEDY sent me home, this Alison ALLISON DENESUK had no idea who works and if you ask an explanation they have no idea! Worse and rude humans that do hurt people in purpose and it is sad to know that they are left to work as a Doctors.

This team of doctors and nurses are amazing. They always made me feel comfortable and in control. Pregnancy and delivery can be scary and stressful but I felt like I was in good hands and well looked after throughout the entire process. I safely delivered my first child at RGH with this team and wouldn't have changed a thing. Couldn't be happier with my experience!

Oh I can not even describe how rude the team working there - I can’t believe that there are services in Alberta as bad as this one. I hope my reviews helps everyone who is planning to use their services to not to use it. Please don’t go to them.

Receptionist called me to book an appointment, I did not like the vibe at all. The way she “explained” things was just very cold. I would also phrase the 150$ No show fee a little better specially because that first call made me feel not welcome, and to be very honest a receptionist is unfortunately the “face” of the “company” if your receptionist is not liked, then people will most likely go there predisposed.which was my case Today.
I still talked myself into going and trying.
I go in, I already knew how I felt about the receptionist so that was ok.the head nurse that did the first consult made me feel like everything I was doing was wrong including what my family Dr had asked me to do.she took my requisitions and put big exes on them and got rid of them because my doctor basically doesn’t know what he is doing.which might be the case but the way she said it made me feel kinda lost and unwelcome. Also very pushy.this is what we do here.what you are doing is not wrong but it basically is, so I would recommend you do this instead; it is up to you, but you should do this.it was just very condescending.
The best thing was Dr. Kennedy and it is really sad because I liked her but of the whole 2 hr appointment I only spent 5 min with dr Kennedy.this is my second pregnancy.and the clinic I went to before was truly amazing in every aspect.
I Can’t say I don’t recommend this clinic as everyone has different opinions and tolerance.if it is your first time at a maternity clinic and you don’t have anything to compare it to.then it will probably be amazing.if on the other hand you have had a previous really amazing experience I would not recommend this clinic.

Being pregnant is stressful in and of itself, having a medical team who is supportive and knowledgeable as well as friendly definitely helps ease some of the anxiety. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Denesuk and Dr. Sloper, who saw me through two healthy pregnancies. The whole team conducts themselves with the utmost professionalism. The front desk team is fantastic and always helpful. I would recommend this practice to any mama to be!

The primary doctor I was seeing went on holidays toward the end of my pregnancy so I ended up seeing basically every other doctor there for the last month or so of appointments. Every single one of them missed that my baby was breech, thereby I arrived at the hospital and was pressured into a c-section. I felt like they were just going through the motions as far as the checkups and was really unimpressed with my experience there for the entirety of my pregnancy. I also found the nurses and many of the doctors to be quite rude. I wouldn’t recommend this clinic based on my experience.
