RONA Calgary (Forest Lawn)

Nothing out of the ordinary, just like any of the other locations (except a lot smaller). Decent shopping, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. **No garden centre.

Very helpful staff. Knowledgeable. I asked a plumbing question from the beautiful lady staff. But I wasn’t happy with her solution. I called right away to a plumbing expert. He said the same solution. I will shop more often from Rona.

Went in to order soffits and other parts. Jordan was absolutely a star. He was so helpful and we managed to pick up everything we needed. Even ended up having keys cut and a new door knob as well. Service at this Rona was great. I will be back, even though it is not near me.

You could visit this store day before to they could prepare everything you need for you could pay today for items and delivering.
But it will not help you and you will wait today 1,5 hour more while they will find something and will give you papers for paying.
It's crazy.

On Monday June 12 th around 5ish we went in just to get a garden hose repair, male end. I’m sorry I didn’t get his name but the guy who helped up was so nice and helped us a lot! Thank you

This store may be smaller than other Rona locations but the staff is excellent. I would like to thank Bentley and Crystal for their excellent customer service on my recent visit to purchase a bbq, thanks again guys and keep up the good work!

Rona/Lowes has its uses and it seems every store is different but setup somewhat similar. Experience will vary from store to store

Very polite staff, that take a professional approach to helping customers when needed. As for it being a smaller store it still has quite the variety of tools and essentials needed when needed for home and hardware work being done.

Great store and staff, unfortunately the neighborhood makes it a bit rough and they tend to treat everyone like a suspect lol
Can't say I blame them I used to live around there. I can't even imagine the nonsense they deal with every day.

Reminds me of the hardware store I went to with my grandfather, except for all the LED and bluetooth controlled stuff. Can still buy nails and screws by the pound.

Forgot this location was here. Was originally headed for sunridge when I remembered something was here. Super glad I came by. Had been to Home Depot a number of times without getting any help or assistance. I just bought my first home and wanted to replace the two toilets. On my first visit I was walking around and was assisted fairly quickly. He wasn't able to assist but gave me the install coordinators business card. I ended up buying new handles and deadbolt. Emailed Steve the next day and he reached out really quickly. Went by on Saturday and got amazing assistance. Walked the store realizing all the projects I need to do while Steve was helping another customer. Steve was prepared for me to come in and figuring out my toilet needs was quick and painless. Super friendly and made the process easy and painless. If you need quality assistance this is the location.

I like Rona in general because it's sort of closer to a real Canadian company than other similar type stores. The staff at this store in general are good but product wise, it is a smaller store and frequently does not have what I might need, especially with the supply chain disruptions we are presently having. I have learned what they commonly don't have and have adapted.

It is my closest DIY store so I usually go here first before going elsewhere so it works for me.

Ordered 2 black folding stools. Got them on Tuesday. But only one showed up. Called them. I was told twice it would be here on WEDNESDAY. Guess what. Not till Thursday So I have to change my schedule to wait for there mistake. NOT IMPRESSED.

Asked to see where the window items were so I could find a way to secure my basement suite windows. The staff member I had asked just stood beside me while I texted my landlord. He asked me to explain (I didnt) why I had to text him (was not hiding the fact he was tryna read my phone) and then he just stood beside me in silence for a few minutes as if to confirm my circumstance? What kinda security guard complex is that? Not what I had in mind when I think of the term "Above and beyond". I'm a 1/4 Sioux so draw your own conclusion of what was happening here from this husky filipino dude.

Went to get soil and screws. Steve greeted me with a smile and cheery attitude. Asked me what I needed. I showed him the picture of what I needed, gave me advise on which size screws to get. Also needed soil for my garden beds. He volunteered to get them for me and load them up. I am having mobility problems. This is the first time I didn't have to search for a floor clerk. I will be back.

Love the staff! Everything is reasonably priced. They usually have clearance and discounted items as well at awesome prices. I'm here alot. I love this store.

If you need lumber, this is the place to go. The other Reno stores sell warped and twisted lumber, but this store has straight lumber that is true and square

I am having my fence fixed finally. (see my review with Handyman Connection) and I went over to buy the wood needed.
Thomas helped me out. He was very friendly and exceptionally helpful. He listened carefully to what I wanted and needed and he helped me find them. He also gave some great advice and helped me save some $$. Always a bonus.
They were out of the 2x4x8 that I needed but Thomas looked online and found the Sunridge store had lots in stock.
I paid for my wood and other things and made my way to the lumber yard. Here I was greeted by another friendly worker. He showed me where I was going and asked if I needed a hand. I really was pumped and ready for this job so I declined his offer. He did come back later to see if I needed help but I was almost done.
The whole process was very easy. I really enjoyed and appreciated the friendly workers in this store. Thomas should get a raise!

Staff were helpful, courteous and friendly. Good place with lots of products in a smaller store. Faster experience than larger Rona stores. Love the "Mom and Pop" feel.

Pet friendly! Both service dogs (in training and certified) as well as PET DOGS! This is the place to shop if you don’t want to leave your pup in the car while get your supplies!

I am so impressed with this Rona, I've lived in this area about 4 years now, and went in to Rona on my own looking for indoor plants to brighten up my life.after chemo and radiation.

I.was approached by a wonderful gentleman, who kindly helped me search for som.he took me to different isles and we kept looking.for plants, and came across some green houses!

I will be coming back a a second time to get greenhouse. I was and still am very impressed and grateful.

Most people don't really bother to help you, especially if you are in a wheelchair.

My husband picked up some carpet a few days earlier I believed to use in the back of our car. He believes he had the same wonderful genuine guy.

We both will be coming back to this store, it's refreshing to find someone who goes out of their way to help you.

I wanted to let everyone know about my lovely positive experience and my hubby said I should look on line.so I did.and here I am. I don't know his name but he was extremely kind and helpful!

It's always been a great Community hardware store thru many company names over the years. Even thou they're a bigger corporate store now, they maintained the personal freindly shop they have always been. That's always there for any questions or confusion I may have.

I've never been treated so bad in any other hardware store. They've refused to help me cut the lumber I wanted to buy and invoked childish reasons. The manager on site was the worst of them all.

I go here often. Even though it's part of a big chain, it feels like the corner hardware store run by a family you've known for ever but with big chain prices. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. If they don't know something they help you find the answers.

Went to find heavy duty plastic poly to help with weed control I just walked through the door and checking the sighs to see if I could find it before I could read 2rows I had a person working there show ME to the place I needed and help with the right thing for my job great service and all around great atmosphere for ultimate comfort for shopping

The store has a large amount of rubber lawn edging as indicated on the website. The product was easy to find and the service was great.

I've never been in this Rona site before and when I walked in a gentleman staff member asked me if he could help me and directed me to the isle I needed to go.
Things were a little over stacked and a female staff member asked if she could assist me and even carried some of my items to the till. The cashier was very courteous and offered a carry out. I was literally in and out of there in under 10 mins. The staff are friendly, eager to assist and knowledgeable. I'll give this location 5 stars.

Fantastic experience. Was hesitant to go to a Rona because I have never had a positive experience before, but they were the only ones with the materials I needed. Guys at the pro desk were very helpful and we got asked more than once if we needed any help finding stuff. This location is out of the way for me, but if I am ever going to Rona, this is the one I will go to.

As usual got what I needed, and the extra mile the service woman went to find out what iwas looking for was un beatable.

This is the store I go to if I just need a couple of things for a project. Not the biggest. But easily accessible and never very busy. Which is especially nice during covid.

Im always headed to this place from paint brushes, to flooring to Xmas decorations. A bit confusing at first, but always someone willing to stop and help you find and offer suggestions as to what product to use and how much. They ease the frustration of having to spend alot of money.

This Rona is a good one as it has been at this location and is a great neighborhood hardware and wood supply yard for as long as I can remember and I was born and raised in the area, and before it was Rona when it was called Totem. Anyways the staff were very friendly and helpful with all the things I was looking for in all the various areas of the store.

Bad service have no product no one answer's there phone's won't call you back hours later. Was absolutely terrible

We bought a washing machine. Great I have it but they did not install it because their delivery guy did not show up and the worst thing is that, they dis not pull out the old unit. Imagine you pay RONA for such package but no good service. Be careful with this store.good in selling but poor and cheating on service. Waste of money.

I did an online order at this location. It took them 20 minutes to tell me they didn't have my order put together dispite emailing that is was ready and another 20 minutes to get it together.

Great for in store buys. Not so much for returning online orders to store. Issues with receiving a refund since August. Won’t buy online from them anymore.
