RONA Red Deer (North)

Somehow its good! Been there many times.my first time returning my purchase item was terrible.some crew are lack/not well- orientated in terms of returning the items.disappointed

I've ordered my cabinets through rona twice now "once for perimeter once for island" both times I've been missing cabinets, had damage, and this time around my entire order is completely wrong.waiting 6 plus weeks just to not receive the right things is very frustrating. I can't get through phone line. Looks like I've been charged for things I didn't even order. My mdf board and laminate came damaged as well. My next house flip I'll be bringing my business elsewhere.

Awesome team work! Jack, Jaret and Margaret are very friendly and good customer service. Assist me to do all paper works for returned items.

Website is useful, but I always find what I need right away thanks to the helpful people working here

Dennis and Lindsay in the appliance department were absolutely outstanding. Helpful, kind, knowledgable, attentive. They helped us save so much money! A real joy of a shopping experience. We will be coming back to this store over and over. We even had a quick chat with the store manager as we looked at something. He was absolutely lovely! The cashier was lovely too. The store is well laid out. The gentleman who helped me find a few odds and ends was very helpful. I really can't say enough good things. Way to go, Rona Team.

Friendly staff and great selection, but the prices on certain items are absurd. They may qualify for price gouging specialists!

The attitude of the head cashier at the front in the evening on Febuary 12,2023 was terrible. He provided substandard instruction to his more junior employee and refused to help the customer. Also was rude to the customer. Rona can do better.

I went in to seek some plumbing parts. The fellow that assisted me was exceptional in his knowledge and sent me to a plumbing parts store when they didn't have what I needed. He tool the time to look up the address and wrote it down for me. I wish I'd gotten his name. He was a very big help. I'll go back there for sure.

Staff were awkward and not helpful but selection is better than nearby competition and prices are reasonable.

I like this business because they carry some different items than the parent company, Lowe's. I bought a half sheet of plywood, found that it wouldn't fit into my SUV, brought it back inside and a staff member took it out to the yard and cut it to the size I needed. Great service.

Love this place. They know product and are polite. A great store who make time for inquiries

2 hours later still here.

At ordering counter placing our order and employee at desk walks away to help another customer and leaves us standing there and didn't come back.
So we wait to get another employee to help finish our order and he does exact sane thing.
Place is pathetic
Guess first come first serve is unknown now a days

I service at this store all tge time only problem is i alwase are spending money but always iam making something and getting my yard updated

Great store good selection but miss the AIRMILES so thats the main reason i would buy something there so now i think twice because its a little more expensive than HOME DEPOT.but its close to me but they do have great customer service and lots of staff to help you it you need assistance

Rick and his Yard staff done excellent work and were customer oriented. I do not know the name of the polite person who loaded my vehicle

Good place to find things you may need but be informed prior to entering the store as it is difficult to find available customer service and their expertise reaches it's limits soon after you do.

The staff here are always very knowledgeable and helpful - when I have a DIY project, they can provide guidance as to what I will need. Highly recommended!

Helpful staff. A bit over priced however. Bought some brackets to hang a shelf for $50. The same ones at another store were half the price. Also, Rona will not cut wood down to size for you. I would love to shop here since it is close to my house, but competitors are cheaper and offer additional services.

Been to this Rona a few times. Found Beth at customer service to be a bit rude but otherwise decent customer service.

Just had this truck pass me on a double solid hiway 20 south north of Sylvan Lake right were they are seal coating so when he pulled back in he rocked my nearly brand new windshield. So thanks for that Rona Red Deer.

Great store, great staff, good prices and a discount table that really needs to be redesigned, The boss should look into a few ideas and drawings from a regular shopper

Great store, always well staffed and their staff are knowledgeable and pleasant. No issue has ever gone up fixed they go above and beyond every time. Night and day between them and their parent company lowes. Its extra driving for me but their customer service keeps me coming back, too bad lowes can't say the same.

Love this store. The staff are polite and helpful. Deals are decent I have found some awesome clearance stuff when I go in. Cliff in paint is super helpful.

I have to give RONA a bad review after my experience with them over the past few months. You get a different answer depending on which location you call about ordering the exact same product in. You place an order online and they charge your card immediately, and I wait weeks (almost a month) only to have part of my order cancelled without any notice. Contact customer service and told too bad so sad. When we go to the store to pick-up the order that did go through part of it is lost. I submit a review for what we purchased and "it's not approved" - with no explanation. I can only guess it's because I pointed out some flaws (ie: inaccurate product description). Then I start receiving junk mail from RONA to my email - that I never signed up for. I go to use the unsubscribe link and there is no actual button to submit the form to unsubscribe me from marketing. This is an incredibly shady business no matter what area you're looking at, and I would not recommend dealing with them. There are way better hardware stores out there.

Although the store is much too small and the lighting along the back wall is dim at the best of times, I have always been greeted and treated like a welcome friend. The staff at the help desk, checkout and yard are the best. When it is your turn, you have their undivided attention. They are all knowledgeable and helpful. The prices are pretty good too. This is always my first stop before I look elsewhere.

All the staff are great but I have especially enjoyed the good work ethic and attitudes of everybody outside in the yard. It can be +30 or pouring rain and they're happy to help me. Thank you to all the staff, especially the yard staff!

What great people and customer service they have. Unfortunately the online does not mean they will have it in store. Quality products at reasonable prices. Knowledgeable staff that try hard to understand your project and what products could work.

Took me nearly 1 hour to get a quart of paint remixed that wasn't made properly the day before. I waiting in line at the paint counter and once I was the next person the lady left the counter. I assumed she would be back right away but than I seen her helping other people at the order counter. I finally got someone to help me and I had to argue with him that the paint wasn't mixed properly. Once he finally mixed a new can he showed me the difference and apologized but this is why I try to avoid dealing with Rona. I guess for now on I will drive across town even for something this simple.

Went into the store on a Thursday evening to look at flooring. The customer service desk was super busy so I asked the sales associate at the till to look up an item and see if it was in stock. They told me I had to wait in the customer service line. Just walked out of the store.

Terrible experience with staff. I went there first thing in the morning to buy a specific rare plant that I saw posted on a page. I looked and found the last one in the corner of the plant section with other plants that looked like they were dying on a workers dolly. I grabbed it and went to the tills to check out and the women from the plant section yelled out at me “excuse me.did you get that from the corner? !? ” I said yes “well that’s mine” she literally took it out of my hands. I asked, will you be getting more in? “ I called the growers and no they won’t be sending more” wow! Never again will I shop there after that experience!

Hadn't shopped here in quite a while but the experience and knowledge of the staff isn't what it used to be.

Called in today to see if they had what I needed and I was helped right away. The staff member even went to the back to verify they had the stock on hand and called me back to let me know. Very impressed!
After trying to do the same thing with Home Depot in Red Deer - being transferred 4 times, on hold for 15 minutes and then getting disconnected. I know where I'm shopping!

Do you enjoy paying for appliances and then not receiving them in any sort of timely fashion? Do you like doing all the problem solving yourself after paying for said appliance? Then this is the place for you.or you could go to Trail Appliances and get your purchase the same day.
Rona has a third party delivery service for their appliances as they do not keep most of them stocked in store. The lack of communication between the two is unbelievable. I have never received such poor service in my entire adult life. My dishwasher never showed up on the scheduled day. The manager, while nice, did not make any effort to fix the issue in a timely manner nor did he take ownership for the error. I called a couple places and Trail Appliances price matched the same appliance for same day pick up.

Excellent product selection available. Cheerful and charismatic staff ready and willing to help you with your hardware store needs or desires.

Went into store to buy a lawn mower cashier told me to see service desk so they could help me take out the lawn mower and give me invoice to pay and the guy to help and the guy said he cant help me he was to busy playing on his phone or computer. Service here really suck on person for the whole store I cant lift or 50 lbs so I asked for help but everyone was to busy talking.

That's the best place to buy whatever you need, people working there are so knowledgeable about everything (the best teamwork) thank you very much guys por all you help and advices and I'm almost sure that you guys are the best in town specially CLIFF he is awesome
