RONA Spruce Grove

The VIP desk is awesome! So are the other staff at this location. I used to shop at the orange store across the road. However, I will only buy my consumables from this store from now on. Easier to find what you are looking for, and like I said above, the VIP desk is awesome!

I went to Rona looking for 1x5 boards in 8 foot lengths for my home project, I couldn’t find these boards in anything but 16 foot lengths, so I looked for help with no one in sight for 10 mins or so. When I did find someone the man told me where the hand saw was and to cut my own boards to the length I needed and he walked away. I noticed 4 or so employees in the back joking around and continuing their conversations and did not offer to help. Very poor service as I am new to the home project world and felt uncomfortable cutting 5 boards alone that are 16 feet in length, as they are long and awkward, and I am just learning.

Kevin was a huge help finding the patio sets I was looking for. Good deals/quality products. Thanks big time

Rona in Spruce Grove has a very good selection, there prices are a little higher on some things, but there customer service is very good.

So thankful this Rona has stated standing. Great for diddly little things like bolts and screws and cabinet hardware. Their paint section is large and in the spring they have a great selection of garden stuff. Bonus- this location is dog friendly!

We had an excellent person help us with our stove when it was delivered and noticed it was damaged. We went to the spruce grove store and spoke with manager Kevin, he corrected the problem and had a new stove delivered ASAP.

There is never anyone in the contractor area
i need lumber but they dont answer the phone and i have been trying for 4 hours.finally a lady answers and says they cant find anyone to help me.what a joke i want to give zero stars

We went looking for a new range went to three other places before going to Rona. What a surprise knowledgeable polite and a sense of humour. Didn’t buy the gas range we wanted because it was going to cost to much to switch to gas. Going back to buy the electric range tomorrow. Thanks Beth

It's very easy to shop and deal with Rona Spruce Grove. Usually good prices and lots of inventory to choose from. But it is a warehouse store so it takes time obtain things sometimes. It's great to have a Rona in Spruce Grove.

Abysmal. Had three appliances delivered to new house, delivery guys were 2 hours late then said they would’ve deliver due to stairs.
I had week in new home no appliances. Leon’s did it with no complaints.

Still waiting for manager call back from Rona. Terrible service.

I like their 1X4's, 1X6's and 1X8 spruce lumber. You almost don't need to sand it. I build many projects with this wood.

I bought an item a few months ago and now it needs a part repleced but I had no receipt. The young lady at the till didn't know how to get it but she found me someone who did. The apologised for the wait but it didn't take very long at all. Glad to have my receipt so I can fix my shower.

The prices usually seem higher than other local hardware stores. The front staff are usually pleasant to deal with. The yard manager or supervisor is exceptionally rude. We were picking up wood and wanted to check to make sure we didn't get broken or warped pieces. The yard staff was helping us, while helping other customers as well. The yard supervisor/manager comes out of the store, comes up to us, yelled at us, told us that we couldn't pick out what we wanted and would just get what we were given. Why would anyone want to buy a broken product? He then proceeded to yell at his employees to help the other customers (Which they were already doing) then walked away while muttering under his breath.

(So not only rude and disrespectful, but unhelpful and terrible leadership.)

I spoke to the store manager who was more than understanding, and went as far to come outside on our next load and make sure the yard staff were helping us, and let us pick out non broken items. He said he would speak to that manager about his behavior and customer service.

I did see this supervisor/manager on another occasion in the store, he was more polite and helpful, not sure if he didn't recognize me or just had a bad day earlier. But either way you don't take it out on the customer.

It's actually a pretty good place, staff is helpful and they always have something on sale. The way that they stock their products is the one draw back. There didn't seem to be a plan on where things should go, grouping wise. Might be me but I tend to be looking longer than I should.

This store is the definition of customer service. Staff are always willing to assist you. Hats off to Jay who helped me with my lumber needs. Friendly, funny and has a great personality. Can't forget to mention Raul and Sean. If management is reading this, you did well on hiring these gentlemen.

Lumber yard isn’t too bad. Got a surf through to see what you want but other than that no issues staff has been extremely helpful while on site.

Have been in several times for work supplies and the paint staff and the folks manning the desk by the plumbing dept are fantastic. Always there to help and if they can't, they will find a colleague who can. Definitely recommend.

Purchased a patio set staff inside was very helpful. We waited an hour for the yard staff to find the items and bring it out to us.

Went in to look for shelving. Lots in stock but no staff near to assist me so I left without buying what I wanted.

Went to Rona late saturday evening desperately looking for a new refrigerator. Staff was very helpful (Fred and another lady, i feel bad i don't recall her name) and friendly. We didn't have our measurements confirmed but had a general idea of what we needed. Staff helped us narrow down what we thought we needed and even searched through cold storage for us. We narrowed it down to 2 and went home for the evening to confirm dimensions. Fred stated he would be at work the following morning at 8am to assist us in finalizing our purchase.
Sunday morning I was there at 8am and Fred was ready to help me purchase and load the fridge we needed. I was out of the store by 8: 25am. I needed to be on the road as soon as possible that morning to assist my grandmother in moving so the effort by Fred and the other Rona staff was incredibly appreciated.

Awesome service tonight. Exchanged a patio umbrella in less than 15 minutes. Thanks Rona Soruce Grove.

After a frustrating day dealing with a plumbing issue and multiple visits to other hardware stores Rona saved the day, more specifically Gale saved the day. She was awesome!
