Rose & Crown

Great for an old school Irish pub. I love this place. The beers are cold, tall and the food is fantastic. I didn't want to leave. Highly recommend this place.

I went for a christmas party, we didn't eat any food when we went to the rose & crown as we had eaten at the previous pub we were at that night (the beaver pub which the food there was) I just ordered cocktails which were amazing.there was live music playing when I went and the band was surprisingly good. I had such a fun time, drinking, dancing and singing along to the music! It was very loud in there so it wasn't really an environment to be able to talk or socialize.

One of the best pubs in banff town which is open till 2.00 am even on weekdays with live music. If you want to shake your legs, crawl on to Rose & crown as there is space to show your dancing skills.
Checked-in other pubs in the town and they all neither close after 10.00 pm nor serve food after 10.00 pm

Great atmosphere, the bartender was attentive and quick. Really enjoyed how they had someone on stage playing music and taking requests from people. Overall a good bar.

The guy who served us was awesome. I forgot his name but he was the best. The food, the drink, the vibe, everything was great!

Was there recently for a private party. It was a nice combination kind of like a high class dive bar. Perfect.

Always a good time. A bit of a middle aged crowd, live music 7 days a week (usually 80s and 90s cover bands). Such a staple for Banff nightlife.

Went here with some friends and it was a great place to pregame. We went on a Saturday so you can imagine that it was busy. They had live music which was great and the crowd was really enjoying it as well! They also have a side that is quieter (so you can converse). The only downside is that on this side there’s a pool table near the bar so you do have to be cautious other wise you could possibly get jabbed with one of the sticks. My friends and I had a great night and we would definitely come back here again. Also I didn’t get a chance to try the food here as yet but there is always next time

Great music libations and food. Wednesdays are 1/2 price bottles of wine this place rocks1

Horrible night staff went to go in for a couple drinks with friends had the door man tell me to get in id have to go and get paper towel and clean their floor dont know what kind of drugs there 20 year old night staff is on but studio 54 you are not. Heard nothing but good things about this place to be treated that way random and unbelievable hire better

I've been trying to be reflecting really well on places when I do reviews.
I wouldn't give 5 starts unless the experience seemed to be exceptional.
So, her it was just OK, took servers long time to come to us.
Food was normally good, prices are always on the high side, I mean of course, it is Banff.
There is a rooftop, was full except one table that was not cleaned. Patio was full too on the street.

Live music every night, happy hour prices from 3-6pm, a really good selection of drinks. It has 2 decent pool tables, plenty of seating and lovely, friendly service. What more could you possibly ask for? Highly recommended!

Read the menu on line decided to go but sure when we got there- come on it's 2023;update your website from open.

I gave them 4 stars today instead of five because they were really good. But not really great. They offered three choices of meat on my nachos, only to come back and say they were out of my first choice. Not a very good sign since it was early in the day, but I'll take choice number two. I thought the ground beef tasted a little funny. Not like it was bad, but just seasoned with something I'm not used to, so they don't get a bad mark for that. The men's room, although functional, was in disrepair, apparently due to a rough weekend crowd on a regular basis maybe? That's too bad for an otherwise nice looking place. There appears to be a security camera on the ceiling in the men's room. Although it looked broken, too, that still seemed odd.
But all in all, we had a nice nacho lunch, and a couple good drinks and a reasonable price.

Came here for drinks and was told by the bartender downstairs that we had to go back upstairs after we had already been up there and saw it was closed. She completely ignored us as well until we physically walked over to her and asked if we could get a drink. The bartenders on the upstairs patio were a lot of fun & really friendly. Just had a weird experience downstairs.
