Rosebud Country Inn

I rarely review places but I was over the moon with how welcoming everyone is, I had a vehicle issue and they were willing to help me out without question. Such a lovely place. Most caring staff and owner, food was great, you must try the borscht!

My husband, son and I stayed at the Inn after enjoying a spectacular play at the Rosebud Opera House. It was divine! Betty Jane was an amazing Hostess. We were spoiled. Our beds were turned down, morning coffee brought up to the room and a charcuterie was delivered to the elegant sitting room upstairs. And what a space it was! The Charm of Christmas fillled the room. We enjoyed our evening treats while playing Scrabble (supplied by the Inn). We will be planning our next trip back as soon as we can! With the dinner theatre and the peaceful prairie setting Rosebud has so much to offer. Thank You for a memorable visit Rosebud Country Inn!

Wow! What an AMAZING stay! So glad I found this hidden gem! I came with my grandmother for a special holiday. BJ was so accommodating and took such great care of us! She is the best! She made our stay incredible! The service and hospitality is outstanding!
Breakfast was delicious everyday! Rooms were clean and homey, beds super comfortable with local art and other goodies available to purchase!
We were originally planning on staying in Drumheller which is only 25min away, but so glad we found Rosebud Country Inn, in a perfect quiet little town for the peaceful getaway be both needed so much. Hope to visit again soon! Thank you again BJ

Super comfortable beds and lounge chairs. Very peaceful on the deck. Friendly hosts and great breakfast! My husband is celiac and they are very gluten-aware and he had a great breakfast too!

This is a lovely gem of a place. Very well appointed and comfortable. Genuine prairie hospitality from BJ and her staff. A lovely setting. I would highly recommend.

Wow, what a great B&B in Rosebud! We highly recommend spending time in this beautiful location, for countless reasons. BJ is a great host who helps the artists in town launch their careers by giving them work and all of the tips! WOW! Plus, their positive attitude, accommodations for my 'princess' diet, and Starlink for my insistence on high speed internet; WOW again! We will be back soon! Shondell and Catherine:)

A very special B and B. The extra touches such as coffee or tea delivered to your room in the morning, a gift of homemade lotion and great homemade pie made our visit one to remember.

Great place to stay. Betty Jane and her staff are very friendly and helpful. Always a smile and nice chat. Dinner and breakfast were great! Gluten-free and lactose-free was not a problem. The pies were delicious, we have eaten a few. Not a day with the same breakfast. Nice room, spacious bathroom with soft thick towels.

Normally would give this place 5 stars because our past visits have been amazing. A friend and I would go for pie and ice cream because their pie is so good. We have, in the past been there with our dogs and were told that was OK, but only out on the veranda. Today, a very angry woman came out and told us they were not a dog place and we cannot be there. I had not sat down yet so I just turned around a left. My friend, who was already sitting with her small dog, got up to leave and this angry woman said she could stay because she had a small dog. My friend got up and left as well, two other people with a dog left. Clearly this woman was afraid of dogs bigger than a cat! I will not return. Not because of the discrimination against big dogs, but because she was so angry and extremely rude. If she was staff, she should be let go for treating customers that way. If she is the owner, shame on you for handling things in such an awful manner!

We had lunch there whilst we stayed in Rosebud, food was homemade and delicious, waitress very friendly, nice and clean everywhere.

Beautiful property with amazing staff and ownership! Highly recommend and the apple pie with white cheddar cheese is a must have!

Staff and owners where above and beyond friendly. Amazingly kept property and absolutely stunning view from the balcony outside our room.

This place is the cutest, quaintest and well maintained country style B&B we have stayed at! Absolutely gorgeous. Breakfast was delicious and the staff and owners are absolutely lovely. Thank you very much for making our stay so comfortable.

We were going to stay in drumheller for a wedding but I'm so glad we looked a little farther outside the city. It's a quick drive into town and totally worth it to stay here.

We stumbled across this place and what a find it was! The owner and staff were so kind and accommodating to out last minute checkin. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway.

Oh wow. Superb service, beautifully appointed, great breakfasts. BJ, the owner was lovely: friendly, fun, kind. Highly recommend staying here when visiting Drumheller.or when you want to get away from Edmonton or Calgary and stay in a gorgeous inn in a quaint town.

Loved the view from the patio. A group of 8 attended on Aug 8th and were met by a very welcoming hostess and we enjoyed fabulous pie and coffee. This is a special place and will be visiting it again

BJ and Ken go out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful stay! Our family has stayed at the inn a number of times, and it was a very safe and clean break during covid.

Fantastic little country and, excellent strawberry rhubarb pies. The place is well taken care of and the people there are awesome.

In July 2020, we stayed overnight in a most charming 2nd floor bedroom with access to a veranda with adirondack chairs and a pleasant view. Homestyle hot breakfast was delicious! BJ, the owner, is just a gem with such personal care and service during our entire stay.
And yes.her pies are absolutely amazing! Thank you again BJ - we look forward to a return visit!

We had such a lovely tea and lunch at the inn. They serve homemade soup and pies along with a nice selection of tea. Open year round except Christmas.

Rosebud is the quintessential country small town. Beautiful and quiet, the landscape is perfect to take a break. This Inn in particular has great prices and is has great hospitality.

So good. Got a whole package for rosebud to visit and take in the incredible theater and stayed here - just soooooo good. Relaxing stay, not too far from the city and a much slower pace to life. I'd recommend this for anyone looking for something a little different. The pies here are ridiculously good too - might need to go back for a slice or two.

What a great play! It’s a must to see!

From the time you walk up the pathway to the Rosebud Country Inn and go in until you close the door to leave it’s magical.
The Christmas decorations and all the Christmas trees inside the Inn are very festive.
We were warmly greeted by a courteous and friendly staff.
Owners BJ and Ken go the extra mile to accommodate their guests.

My family comes here every year for an annual weekend in Rosebud to see the play and this in is the absolutely best. BJ and Ken go above and beyond ever time. It's such a wonderful experience
