I have been to Rose's a few times now. Once for dipped polish and other times for shellac on my natural nails. Overall, I have been happy and impressed with the quality of the work. The shellac is applied nicely each time and lasted a very long time (up to 4 weeks without chipping) and grows out well. I'm quite critical and have found their work to be much better than other more expensive places.
Every time I go I leave pleased! I’ve been to a few establishments around town and whenever I visit Rose’s, my shellac lasts the longest (only have to go on average once a month for grow-out, not breakage. Pretty good considering I have thin nails). The girls are lovely and detail oriented If you have any problems in the first week, they will fix your nail with no hassle! Cannot say enough good things.
Nice and friendly environment. Ann worked on my nails so patiently. I appreciate her art. She took her time to a perfect finish. I'll definitely go there again!
Rose, the owner, is very professional and talented. I've been getting my nails done at this salon for two to three years and have been very satisfied so far. However, in the past two months, Rose has been away on a trip, and Michelle has taken over the task. I should express my dissatisfaction with her careless, impolite and unprofessional approach. Requesting any changes leads to anger and she shows evident favoritism among the customers. I don't recommend her service at all. Can't wait until Rose is back.
I have been going here for a year. Initially loved the work, efficiency and business. The last 3 fills have been not ok. The owner will bump your nail tech out of her seat then start doing the work. This past week I watched her start my nails, then finish painting the client beside me, then go assess a return complaint of a kiddos shellac toes, then start a pedicure then come back to my nails. She answers her phone, takes payment and money, and NEVER washes her hands once between all these contacts.
Time wise- it was 90 min for me to get just one colour, no design. It can take upwards of 2 hours if you want a design. They could not do a pink ombré 2 refills ago or a simple French ombré. Cost wise has also jumped significantly and the owner is more concerned with every extra dollar than quality. My nails rarely stay on till the next fill.
Was great when Jessica was there. Anyways with this last no hand washing behaviour I don’t trust the salon and won’t be back.
Calm, relaxing, spotless salon with lovely friendly staff. Quick and efficient, welcoming me in with no prior booking. Very happy with my nails, and happy to have help choosing the color. Would highly recommend.
3 nails were chipped within the first 24hr and you can see from the attached photos that they did a very poor job painting them. The edges have one coat and the top has two, but two was clearly not enough with this polish. The lady doing my nails spent a lot of time texting without even washing her hands between using her personal device and finishing my nails.
Staff were friendly, however the pedicure felt as though they rushed through it. One of the ladies would stop a service to answer the phone repeatedly. Toenails were trimmed with a nail clipper, filed just to go through the motions, as they were literally left uneven, sharp and not shaped. All cuticles were left on the nail bed (the old cuticle that you would push back with the pusher and then cut with the cuticle cutter), so I'm not sure what they were trimming. Nail polish was shaken vigorously (which creates air bubbles!). Base coat was skipped, tried to ask but my inquiry was ignored. Nail polish was streaky and thick, so they added a polish thinner and applied a third coat. All their polishes were old and thick, and not a good brands or selection of colors. Top coat was applied but not over the whole nail so you could see where the top coat did not cover. Polish was left on my skin and cuticles. They said I could relax in the chair to dry (only some of us got a fan and the others didn't), but then was booted out so they could move on to another client that walked in. Pedicure chipped with a week, usually it lasts over a month when I do my own. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place (at least not for pedicures). You get what you pay for I guess. Perhaps they get their good ratings from acrylic/gel nails and cheap prices. For some background, I was a esthetician in a previous life and this is not how a pedicure is done.
Absolutely would recommend. Have gone multiple times now and they always do a phenomenal job. They never rush and take their time making sure my nails are well done. They hold up better than any other nail salon I have ever been to.
