Rosso Coffee Roasters - 17th Ave

We have been going to this branch now for several years. We visit when we can as we no longer live downtown. Customer service is always top notch, especially from Michael. He is a very good barista and is always courteous and friendly. Coffee is the best in Calgary in our opinion. Keep up the good work folks.
I have suggested in the past that you establish a cafe in the south, say near Millrise or Shawnessy. Starbucks needs some competition!

This is one of my fav place in Calgary. Their drinks is makes every single my day. Usually I drink coffee but this time I tried Pumpkin Spice latte as Autumn limited and I love it

I am a coffee lover and sometimes treat myself for freshly baked muffins or a bakery piece. However, I have found the muffins old at Analogue on few occasions that I didn’t quite enjoy.
This morning, I asked the barista if the muffin is fresh. She responded that the muffins were hot and freshly made today. Unfortunately, 10 minutes later when I tried having some, I found the taste was off, did not look right, and smell odd and had extremely dried out.
I would have appreciated if she had given me a honest. She has been very respectful and offers a good customer experience, but good experience shall be maintained thru honesty with the products services.

Service was excellent for sure. But the pour over coffees were underwhelming and the chai came out of a carton. Not what I’d expect from a specialty coffee joint.

Got a sweet latte and it was delicious. Same with the ginger cookie both top notch! Very friendly staff and it was quick which was great!

It took over 20 minutes to get a ready to go sandwich heated up. Staff needs more help during morning rush hour if it takes at least 5 min to make a breakfast sandwich.

Visiting from out of town so stopped by to pick up an espresso and some beans for our AirBnB. Great service and lots of roast options.

Weekend baristas were nice and cheerful! Great place to finish some reports on weekends or just hangout with friends.

My fav coffee spot in YYC for sure. Now i cant drink coffee anywhere else because it all tastes burnt compared to Rosso:) also the BEST staff at this location

Rosso on 17th is my go to coffee shop. The service is always top notch and the drinks are made with care. My go to is always the chai latte with oat milk. It was the perfect balance of bold and creamy! Brownie points for the latte art.

They have one of the best tasting coffee in the city. The staff are awesome and the ambience is amazing!

I've been going here on and off since they've opened. Really amazing staff and manager. They remember you even when it's been awhile. Great coffee and I highly recommend their chocolate date balls for a yummy treat.

This Rosso location is not the closest place for me to get espresso - by a LONG shot. But I have fallen in love with the quality and consistency. I like a quad shot of straight espresso & an oatmeal cookie. I have only been disappointed by the espresso once. Every other visit has been top tier, which is why I drive 17 minutes outta my way to get my caffeine dose here. John's doing a great job. Thanks Rosso 17th!

Been here for YYC Hot Choco fest! Their hot choco has a great taste but I wish they had some special flavour or decor went with it. Will try for next year

Good little coffeee shop right in downtown. Plenty of options and variety. Staff is friendly and helpful

The staff are amazing and I love that even on busy weekends there always seems to be space here. However, I did take once star off because it is always SO COLD inside. I don't know if its because of the chilled food case is open or what, but I always have to bundle up before my husband and I go here.

While the coffee was great, terrible place during Covid. Went in quickly to pick up to go, and not only were all tables taken, but some had more than a couple people on them and at least half of the patrons weren’t wearing a mask.

Pretty small place, at noon the place fills up with high school students. Not an ideal place during covid then.

I adore Jonathan (store manager). He makes this place the most welcoming and amazing. The location is fantastic to meet and hang or go for a walk along the Elbow. My summer go to is iced sweet latte with oat milk.

Rosso is one of my favourite local coffee places in Calgary! I always get amazing service and great tasting drinks!

I stumbled upon this Rosso location randomly a couple of months ago and love the vibe. Amazing music, friendly staff and of course awesome coffee.

Best coffee in town. Everytime I come to CALgary I buy several bags of coffee to use at home. The flat white and coffee cake are to die for.

The interior as well as the location make this one of the less popular Rosso stores in my opinion.

Rosso is a great place to grab your caffeine fix. The coffee from here is great and so is the staff. The only thing i wish to be different is to offer that pulled pork breaky sammich that they only offer during stampede. Would be a game changer to be offered year round! That sammich on the cheese biscuit is so so so good!

Terrible coffee! Way to bitter and they only serve light roast. $6.50 for 2 large coffees is highway robbery. Explains why it was completely empty!

Very bad experience. I asked for an americano breve and they started to do it with milk. After that they said that they didn't have cream to steam. A lot of other good options for coffee in the area. I will never comeback there.

, and it was amazingly tasty. The cafe was clean, and the barista was nice and friendly.

Always a pleasure when I go here. Staff are friendly. Nice atmosphere. The coffee is great. I recommend the “sweet latte” and for food you need to try their biscuit breakfast sandwich! Yum!
