Route 99 Diner

The food was fantastic and service was great. Went for breakfast. Very large plates of food and all delicious and good prices. It’s quite cold in there and so they could use better heating in the winter months, but would definitely go back. When a place is packed, that’s always a good sign

The pancakes with syrup were delicious and fulfilled my expectations. The hashbrowns were somewhat underseasoned, so they tasted very average. The eggs were fried on the same grill as the bacon, which is quite off-putting for non-meat eaters.

The service was good, and the ladies with the coffee came around often, so whenever we needed something, we didn't have to wait.

Prices here are very reasonable and I would definitely like to go back for a burger, fries and a shake.

Had a most delicious helping of 2 Eggs over easy, sausage, moist hash browns, and toast! The Dish was served nice and hot loaded with a lot of flavour! Thoroughly, enjoyable!

Presentation awesome as well the atmosphere! With limitless supply of hot brewed fresh coffee!

Very nice staff and the atmosphere is really nice, what you'd expect from a longtime diner.

Positives for the food were that the French toast was really nice and the strawberry milkshake was perfect.

Negatives were that the hollandaise sauce for the Benedict was kind of weird (wouldn't consider eating it again) and the hashbrowns are really strange, they didn't sit well in our stomachs the rest of the day which was very inconvenient on an air travel day.

I'd return for the milkshake but nothing else.

This is one of my favorite places to go for breakfast, usually order eggs Benny or steak or hamburger steak. I love the shredded hashbrowns I ask for fried onions with them. They lose a star from my rating because in the several decades I have been coming here and on occasion ordering scrambled eggs they have always been overcooked and browned like an omelet. In my opinion anyway scrambled eggs should be fluffy and just cooked to consistency never browned. Sometimes cooks think they can take a Holliday from cooking when they hear scrambled but they take the most skill and effort to cook.

Great "Diner" experience. Food is always delicious and the service is always prompt. If you're ever downtown, make your way to Route 99!

Great meal the liver and onions was delicious the roast beef was tender and very tasty and whst can I say about the delicious gravy a great little place for down home cooking. Greatly recommend

Like a blast from the past! Good prices, decent food, very busy & the inside is old school!

Service was too notch and the waitresses we funny and made us feel at home. Good was just as good. The chef knows what’s he’s doing to keep patrons coming back.

Cute little place, decore was retro and fitting. Prices were not extreme but food wasnt overly wow either. Coffee girls stayed up on coffee refills. Noise level was excessively loud where every table seamed to be yelling so person across could hear and tables were uncomfortably close. So decent food, decent prices, service was okay just not an experience I would describe as " you gotta eat here".

Family and I decided to try the place pit was fast service, coffee never empty and food was really good.
If you are not sure try it and you will be happy.

Went for lunch on a Sunday and it was busy but we got in within 10 mins. The service was fast and food was great! Big portions and fair price

Amazing. One of the best restaurants in town. Try the farmer's breakfast or a burger.

This place is always busy but that never stops me from going, very casual and friendly with food to bring a smile to my face.

Such a cute diner, me and my girlfriend had a wonderful time. I wasn't crazy about their French fries but my chicken sandwich was wonderful!

Huge portions for cheap! Food is really good! Service is medium. Classic diner fare done well.

Always love this little place. Fairly inexpensive place to grab food. You get really good bang for your buck and I never leave here hungry. Waitresses are always friendly and attentive without being too much in your face. I’ve never gotten a bad meal here. I’ve gotten stuff that isn’t my fav but it’s still delicious.
