I dealt with Jason Martens in sales and Will Cheng in finance. Both were transparent and fair. I've bought many vehicles in my life and unfortunately 9/10 dealerships are scum. This was not the case with Royal Oak Nissan and their staff. Even the service department and shuttle service to get the snow tires on after purchase was a flawless and smooth experience. Thanks guys.

I was looking around at Royal Oak Nissan at the Rogues while my car was in for an oil change. Zach was very knowledgeable about the Rogue and all the features, but never pressured me in buy one. Then I came back with my family and we test drove the Rogue and truly enjoyed it so much, I purchased one. I had to have a blue one, as that’s my favorite color, so it was going to be factory made. Zach always kept in touch with me to let me know when my Rogue would be delivered. Zach is very helpful and always answered any questions I had. I highly recommend Zach and Royal Oak Nissan. Just took home our 3rd Nissan in the last 5 years and are very pleased again. We love our Nissans, especially our Armada which seats 7 and hauls our family trailer. A perfect model.

I purchased my first brand new vehicle a 2023 Nissan Kicks from Royal Oak Nissan and had an excellent experience. Zach from sales was extremely helpful and never made me feel pressured into buying, he was there to answer any questions or concerns I had and stayed in contact with me for weeks whenever I had questions, this was the only dealership I had a good experience with! We recently purchased a used Nissan for our Son with Royal Oak Nissan. The transmission on our Sons car had just gone and we needed something quick. While inventory was limited we did find a used car that met and exceeded our needs. Our sales experience with Dylan was amazing and highly recommend him. Brought my Nissan Pathfinder in after my hatch button was malfunctioning. Jason was extremely helpful and engaging. I brought up the scratch that was down the side of my vehicle and had an appointment the next week for them to take care of it. Christina was super polite and thorough. Jul 25 2022 7: 30pm.after negotiating with their sales rep and i came there to leave deposit for 2009 BMW 128i. I was told the offer is valid as long as i buy it today. I went there and the sales manager, Scott, refused to sell the car at agreed price and seeking another $1000 as he had couple inquiries of the car before i came. It’s a dealership but they do their business like Facebook market or kijiji. It just shows how not honest they are. Don’t recommend purchasing any car from here.
Their word means nothing which means anything whatever says to you means nothing.

My mom brought her Pathfinder in with issues BEFORE her warranty was up. They took a look at it, said they would order parts and get back to her. She didn’t hear from them so had to follow up. They said parts were still being shipped. She waited. Never heard from them so she called again and they told her her parts were never even ordered! She had to drive around with no heat in the winter with her toddler and windows that would not even roll up. From there, they apologized and said they would get them. Now she is out of warranty and they refuse to fix her vehicle! The last person we spoke to, over a week ago, said a manager would call. No call STILL! I will never recommend this dealership to anyone and we will ensure we make the extra drive to get our work done elsewhere.

My wife and I were in the market for a new vehicle. We had originally purchased/ordered a new vehicle from a competing dealership. This previous dealership had lead us on with false promises and we decided to look at other options. When we arrived at Royal Oak Nissan we were greeted outside by Dylan. We discussed what vehicle we were interested in and he immediately went inside and grabbed a set of keys. We were in the vehicle and out for a test drive in a matter of 10 minutes. We then went inside discussed the buyout of our lease and decided to go forward with discussing the purchase. Dylan had checked the incoming cars and as luck would have it, one of them was the exact colour my wife wanted. We discussed the timeframe for the arrival. His demeanour was very confident, polite, and up front without coming off as arrogant throughout this process. Once we decided to go ahead with the purchase we met with Wil in finance. He explained everything to us and made us feel like our best interests were at heart. The car arrived much sooner than anticipated. We met again with Dylan, Wil, and Rob. Everything in regards to the new car was demonstrated/discussed with my wife. Overall, this was a great experience. Thanks again for everything!

I purchased a used Subaru from Royal Oak Nissan. The salesman tried to add an Admin/Doc fee on top of the listed price which violates AMVIC/Provincial Legislation regarding All in Pricing as per Alberta’s Consumer Protection Act.

After picking the vehicle up, I discovered some mechanical issues which would be costly to repair. Initially, Royal Oak Nissan attempted to avoid the issue, but did agree to look at the car. They did not find anything wrong with it. I took the car to an independent Subaru Shop. They diagnosed the problems which were ongoing issues from long before I bought the car. After some negotiation, Royal Oak Nissan agreed to purchase the car back and I received a full refund.

The Bad: They tried to add in fees which they aren't allowed to. And the Subaru's mechanical issues were not disclosed upon the sale of the vehicle.

The good: Most of the staff were very friendly. They did listen to my concerns from the beginning, and the issue was resolved professionally in a reasonable amount of time.

As always (regardless of where you shop) : buyer beware, know your rights, and don't hesitate to have a third party inspect any used purchase. I do not believe Royal Oak Nissan intentionally attempted to conceal the vehicle's issues, and I am sure that the vast majority of their sales go smoothly. Unfortunately, this situation was not ideal for myself or Royal Oak.

I leased my 3rd vehicle from Royal Oak Nissan this past weekend, a Murano SL. I would highly recommend you see Dylan in sales. I went in and met with Dylan not knowing if I wanted to lease a new vehicle (as my lease was coming due) or buy out my current one. I had a long list of requirements for a new vehicle and Dylan showed me the model and trim that had everything I needed and wanted. Dylan was understanding of my needs and easily worked around my schedule (which was tough with a new baby). Within days I had a new vehicle delivered exactly as discussed, he even put in the cargo liner for me so I didn’t have to.

Worst experience I have ever had with this nissan. 2 months ago, the cooling fan assembly of my car needed to be replaced and I brought it here (where I bought the car) so they can't replace it. They told me they couldn't find any in North America, and that we had to wait until end of October for it to be available, so we had no other choice but to go with it. November 1st comes, and I call them asking if it arrived and they told me they have no idea where it is and don't know an ETA. One of my friends called around and found 4 different cooling fan assemblies, 3 in calgary and 1 in Michigan. The 3 in Calgary included country hills nissan. They kept taking money for the car for these 2 months from us too. They don't care about customer happiness. Save yourself the trouble and go to country hills nissan. Royal Oak nissan is horrible and I would never wish them upon anyone.

I purchased a 2021 Rogue a few weeks ago. Sobhi helped me and has been more than helpful in terms of information and getting a good deal on the vehicle. Not pushy in any way, he's gone above and beyond to answer my questions even after my purchase. Sylvia and Jamie have also been really pleasant to deal with. Only other thing I'll mention is. System had some glitches that made the Propilot Assist and auto hold malfunction within a week when I was driving back from Jasper but it sorted itself out. Aside from that, the vehicle is great. I've been enjoying the new features and the drive has been really smooth. Assuming I have no further issues and I don't have other glitches again, at this point in time, I have nothing bad or any type of complaints to say about the Rogue. I was pleased with the service at Royal Oak Nissan and would use their services again.

Took it in for appraisal and was low balled several thousand off that offer price even though the specific items were identified as a premium on the offer. Not sure why this dealership wasted my time to use sly tactics like this. This dealership is now banned from my list.

I went into Royal Oak Nissan to get some routine maintenance done. While I was there I wanted to see about possibly getting a puffer vehicle that will give me the ability to tow. So I went to see Dylan whom I’ve seen before and sold me my last vehicle. Dylan was more then accommodating and listened to my wants and needs. He showed me the Pathfinder and we went for a test drive. He was very diligent about keeping my budget in check as well as my wants and needs. Dylan spoke to Dan in finance and made sure my budget for what I wanted. By the time my vehicle was done being serviced I was approved for a brand new pathfinder within my budget. Dylan and Dan were fantastic in getting me in my new vehicle fast and within budget. The whole Royal Oak team are amazing. Will for sure recommend and be back when I am ready to trade in. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE - THEY LIE, OVERCHARGE, AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF SENIORS!

My father bought a used vehicle from here 1 year ago and within 4 months it had broken done several times. The salesman did not provide a quality check and lied and said it had all the work done. My father brought it back to the in house mechanics, and they stated it would need a new transmission and would cost $5000. My father took it to another mechanic and they said it only need $600 worth of work.

This happened again recently when they told my father the car needed to have $1000 in repairs, but he brought it somewhere else for inspection, and they said there was nothing wrong with the vehicle.

This dealership is terrible and has taken advantage of a senior during COVID.

Please learn from our mistakes and DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. You will regret it.

It seems like customer service training is not a thing at this location, and they respect you only until the sale is finalized. I'd certainly not recommend this location to anyone in my circle of family and friends, and I hope you'll be cautious if you decide to go to this location too. Make sure you see whatever you think about your purchase is in writing in front of you before finalizing, and of course, consider going to other dealerships.

When I first started my car shopping journey, I was wary, cautious and pretty much mistrusting of all dealerships. Some proved those cautions to be true, but not Royal Oak Nissan. From. The moment I walked in, I was made to feel welcomed and JJ, the sales representative I was dealing with, was friendly and gave it to me straight. There was no nonsense, no sugar coating and that's what I wanted. From the moment I met him to the moment I got my new Sentra from him, he laid everything out.

Additionally, the other stuff such as Dan, Cris and others made me feel welcome and walked me through each process, whether about financing or the car features themselves.

They don't care about you at all, they just want to sell you a car. I am so angry at myself for buying a car from them. The salesman kept saying that I'd need to talk to finance about warranty and stuff, and that he didn't know. Still he took a deposit from me ($2500) and sent me to finance. The finance guy kept saying numbers about warranty and when I picked up the car the numbers didn't look like what I had heard.
Bottom line is that I was pressured to buy a car, and I wish I had gone to Honda, Hyundai, etc. Hyundai's warranty is even much better than Nissan. 100k, while Nissan's is 60k. I wish I had not gotten fooled by these people. Don't go there. If you go, remember, "you DON'T need a car", and "They DON'T want to have the car"! I'm totally disappointed!

The service department at Royal Oak is the best. Service advisors are cordial and more importantly very professional. Needing unscheduled automotive service is never a good thing but the staff at Royal Oak definitely ease the pain, I wouldn't take my Nissan anywhere else.

Meaning to write this for some time, just got really busy. I'll keep it short. I went into this dealer ship with my girlfriend to look at some suv's.a salesmen in his mid 20's.he asked us if we would like to sit down in his office to go over some number, this is within the first minute of him coming over. I said no thanks, the sales man had the nerve to sarcastically say " whoo you don't want to come in office, whooo too much for you" like wow! This guy must have the lowest sales. Management here needs to keep a closer eye on their employees.

I live in Saskatchewan and, with the distance, purchased a pre-owned 370z under good faith that the technician's worksheet proved adequate. Unfortunately that is not the case as during the inspection process to have my vehicle licensed in SK, they noticed that the lower front ball joint in the suspension had a lot of play in it, meaning it was loose, causing a serious safety issue. After I bought it I had 2 options - get it transported here by truck or fly out and drive it back, both of which I was fine with but boy am I glad I didn't drive it 650km on the highway, for to my safety.

Although this fix is covered under warranty, and it will be handled through Nissan, all I can think about is IF they sold this to an Alberta citizen, the purchaser would never have known about this safety concern and probably would have ran into an even worse situation later down the road, God knows when and what or who could have been injured because of this incorrect inspection form. Problem is, is that the sales team knows nothing about the cars they are selling and have to take 4 hours to get up to speed, not to mention the incompetent technicians the are sublet through the dealership, paid by job, not even a Nissan specialist.

The Carfax and inspection report that was given to me passed with flying colours so I assumed I wouldn't have any problems getting my car saftied in SK other than a stone chip from the truck ride here, but due to their negligence, I now have to wait for an unplanned appointment through my local dealership and miss an hour of work. People will think "but you're getting it done for free". That's not what I'm trying to convey, I'm just worried about the others on the road and the current condition of their vehicle, stated "Perfect inspection/no issues" but actually have safety concerns. The ONLY reason why or how I know about this is because I needed an out of province inspection completed, if I lived in AB, I would have never known.

The finance manager Scott McLean was very good, definitely would recommend future sales to go through him, but make sure the sales team knows about what condition the car is in first hand or red flags start to go up. From now on I'm going to stick to local inventory and local services where I can actually go and see the car. Have lost all faith in dealerships once again.

Took vehicle in for pre-purchase inspection. It took longer than I expected but they did a very thorough job and provided me with a very detailed report which they also went over with me before I left. I ultimately did not buy the vehicle I brought in because of the results of the inspection. Thanks to the service department.

Called to get a price on a new key fob and to book an appointment for the programming.
Have called the parts department three times and every time all I get is,
"Can we call you back? "
Never get any calls back.

Have emailed someone from parts numerous times to get an update or an answer but no one seems to check that email either.

Originally called in the beginning of September to try and order the key and it's been over a month with no response.
Guys only give a damn about you if you're buying a car, which is sad, I'll definitely be staying away from Royal Oak Nissan from now on.

Called Stadium Nissan and was booked in this Friday.

Edit: Received a laughable reply to my negative review saying they don't have my name in the system. Funny how it shows up at the top of my bill of sale. Don't trust these guys as far as you can throw them.

OP: Save your time, go elsewhere. Their service department is pitiful. Purchased a brand new vehicle from them and a small issue with the front facing radar sensor popped up within days of possession. I called and made arrangement for service and made an appointment for 7am on a weekday. The service department was given a detail description of the fault that appeared. They kept my car for over 8 hours and told me they couldn't replicate the problem so they did nothing. I drove it out of the lot and 1.2 kms later the fault reappeared. I reached back out this time asking to be put in touch with a manager and providing pictures of the fault on the dash. After 2 or 3 attempts still radio silence, nothing. With an educated guess and a little bit of research I suspect this is a simple faulty sensor that may need replacement. However, you can't make money off of someone with a brand new car when it's covered under warranty so as a customer you don't matter anymore. I later had my winter tires installed by Kal-Tire, because my vehicle is a new model in Canada, Nissan or other technical companies have yet to publish wheel foot pound torque values for installation. They told me they tried calling 3 separate people at Royal Oak to get the answer and were told their call would be returned. It wasn't. They just seem to be incapable of following through on technical matters. Their sales and financing staff were knowledgeable, friendly and great to deal with. It'll be unfortunate if they lose out on sales because their service department can't make the grade. I'll take my car elsewhere to have any service done and they will not get any more of my money at this dealership.

Called to see if I had any warranty left on my car which I purchased from them. I was told no warranty but still had 10 free oil changes which I hadn’t used yet so I booked an appointment. Got my oil changed and was handed a bill. I was then informed I had zero oil changes left. I drove out of my way for this appointment just for convenience of “free”, so to say the least I wasn’t pleased. I filled out the survey they send you after a service and expressed my displeasure only to have the service tech phone me whining that because of my review they received a fail for service. The actual service was excellent! It was the misinformation and inconvenience which was not. She also said I would probably get a call from upper management to address what happened.that never happened. Guess they don’t care THAT much about it.

I came to this location to get my Nissan NV2500HD (cargo van) serviced and when I got to the service enterance, I informed the worker that the van might not fit through the overhead door. He came and directed me in and said there was lots of room. I drove forward and the roof vent and roof rack caught on the overhead door and caused me 1500$ in damage. I had asked the employee twice and he was simply negligent. The owner and manger of this dealership assumed zero responsibility and say the employee didn’t give me instruction to enter. Simply untrue. They have video footage of there employee waving me in and me getting out of my vehicle to check but I am sure they will selectively use this footage to there advantage. Horrible customer service and I recommend buying and servicing your vehicle at a different location. Owner never even contacted me to discuss what happened from his clients point of view. Simply poor management.

My Wife and I purchased a 2018 Nissan Rogue. I would like to start of saying that I was very impressed with our sales rep. He was very Knowledgeable and and friendly to chat with. After arriving at the the dealership at around 730 pm we walked out at around 10 pm as new owners of a new Rogue. We were very happy at this time. During the process we were sold the protection plan and the extended warranty. All sounds great so we said yes.
We picked up our car 2 days later when all the the 3M protection was to be completed. When we arrived at the dealership to pick up we were greeted and our car was brought out to us. We then received a walk through of the vehicle ensuring that we understand all of it's features. Service was excellent at this time.everyone seemed to be helpful and wanting to help.
As we were looking around the car, around the outside, i noticed that the 3M was not 100%. I pointed out the flaws and also pointed out that the lights in front were not covered. When I asked the sales manager about it he responded saying that they are not needed as they are made from a strong material and have never had a problem before. I was not very happy to see no covering over the lights but took his word. Because it was later in the day it was agreed that we would bring the car back in on Monday to have the 3M fixed.
This is where the fun part starts. Over the weekend we were out enjoying our new car and drove a few hundred KM's. Doing so we seemed to have picked up a rock on the front end smashing out the drivers side fog light, the exact thing that I was concerned about. On Monday i brought the car in for the 3M work and then showed the broken light from what seemed to be a rock hitting the car. The response I got was that they will fix it but give a reduced price. I said that time that I had expressed my concern about the lights before we even left the dealership. They said they had to order the part in and it would take a day to arrive.i told to do what they had to do i just wanted it fixed. Keep in mind I did not agree nor did I disagree to a price at this time.
When I brought the car in the next day to have the light fixed, after only 400 km, they told me it was going to be $200 to fix the light. I said that I didn't feel that I should have to pay for this as I spoken to the sales manger about my concerns before this happened.
To make a long story short I ended up paying for the part and for the labor to repair the light. Then I was told that they don't have any covers for the lights themselves. Let it be know that I went online and found a company that shipped them to me in 3 days and it only cost me $15 and they were cut to the shape of the lights.
I am not impressed with the service of this dealership after the purchase of the vehicle. It seems that once you have purchased the vehicle they leave you on your own. I hope that this dealership can do something to make up for what I feel to be poor service after pick up.

Came here to charge my electric car as I was literally out of range. Pulled up and the charge port was available so I plugged in and waited, I needed about 20km range. Was charging for about 10 minutes before I was scolded for using the charger. Apparently, this one is only for the Nissan leaf. Sorry I didn't buy your product Nissan and I'll be sure to avoid any of your dealerships in the future as requested. Funny part is when I tried to find a leaf to test drive 6 months ago I was told you don't keep them in stock and I could not buy one from you.

*I guess it would be most accurate to say, they don't seem to care too much about you and your needs/interests. (a facade, of a few uninterested questions)

The staff (I encountered) weren't very knowledgeable about their new vehicles, they also tended to waste your time making you wait (Leaving midway through, meandering about, stopping to chat, etc.). But they were friendly.enough.

I am, however, confident there either is, or will be a salesperson who is fantastic, if you can find them, it would go a long way. (But they probably won't stick around long, not an environment that seems to reward their kind of quality).

I found this place very easy to keep in contact with. When I had first arrived, I had Kelsey helping me for a while while I inquired about many things, then when I had to take off, she was readily available over the phone with no issues. I will continue to come here just for the welcoming staff.

The dealership was no hassle and easy to work with. Our salesman, Dylan Kendall was knowledgeable, dependable and always available. This went a long way to help me decide on making a puchase from Royal Oak.

I had a great experience at Nissan Royal Oak, it's a great dealership. I bought a car with a good deal. The sale consultant Dylan Kendall was terrific, and he provided excellent sale and customer service.

When having car issues on a 20,000km vehicle and getting it towed in I was given little to zero help. I needed a loaner or a rental car which is part of the extended warranty service I paid for. Dave the Sales Manager basically told me that they won’t gelp me and it is my issue. It was 5: 30 and they would not touch my car till the next day so they would not arrange a rental car as they had no loaners. I called Nissan directly and they said he was completely wrong and they should pay for it as it is part of the Platinum warranty. He said for me to pay for a rental and they may reimburse me for it. What a crappy “can don’t” attitude. Royal Oak Nissan - you have lost my business and I will recommend all of my friends never go to your shop or buy from you. I called Nissan and got them to tow it to another dealer because of the bad service.
