This location has delivered the wrong pizza and burnt pizzas multiple times. I ordered a Fred’s Special and I got a burnt Royal Special. It was much better 3 years ago. When I called to complain, they were completely aware that my pizza was burnt. When they delivered a replacement the delivery guy said it is supposed to be burnt. My family has been purchasing pizza from Royal Pizza since the 90’s. Ellerslie location is 5 /5. Go there instead.
Got lasagna with meatballs. Was so disgusted, meatballs had a very knarly taste and were still frozen in the middle. The portions were so small for the price. Also their garlic bread was soggy and not toasted. Super disappointed. Will nvr eat here again.
I had a medium pepperoni and mushroom pizza delivered and I don’t think I’ve ever had a better pizza. It was delivered by a personable driver and it was hot and tasted as if I was right in the restaurant. The crust was crispy on the outside but soft on the inside and the toppings were generous and so very tasty. It’s expensive but it’s worth it.
Not a restaurant for eating in they do have the best pizza out of the royal pizzas I believe and I’ve ordered from Calgary trail Ellerslie and west end but this one at blue quill especially the Fred Special with extra sauce and well done is to die for even though you’re not a pineapple fan you will find room in your hart for it!
Just picked up a royal special med pizza and wings from Blue Quill. Pizza toppings are burnt.the cheese is dark brown and parts of the crust are black. Not edible. I called to see if I could bring it back for a refund but she said she could only credit me for new one. Not sure I will bother but beware if you order around noon hours because apparently the oven runs hotter and this can happen.
Decent and dependable pizza place with a reasonable amount of toppings (which makes it far better than the 90% bread versions at Pizza Hut or Boston Pizza). Not inexpensive, two large pizzas will run $45-$50 plus tip.
It's been a long time since I had Royal Pizza, and I loved it back in the day. My last experience wasn't bad but also not great. I ordered for pick up at a super slow time and when I came by to get it, it was over cooked. So they made it again but under cooked it. Got both pizzas for the price of one but had to turn on my oven at home to get the undercooked pizza to where it should be.
Will go again and see if it's better for sure. It tasted good so it could have just been a bad day for the cooks. I've worked in kitchens, it happens.
The best pizza I've ever had. I was taking some home, and stopped by the 7/11. The clerk asked me why I didn't just buy some 7/11 pizza. I politely explained it was because 7/11 pizza was balls compared to Royal pizza. Okay so it wasn't polite but it was true.
