Safe Harbor is anything BUT it's as friendly as a jail when you go inside you have to hand in every thing from your pockets no backpacks nothing in the day as well as the night the security are constantly yelling at you there is very little care given for anything they have showers but nobody gets to use them when you ask for one the answer is no the place has been over run with head lice, bed, bugs, and now scabies if you're thinking about going to safe Harbor do your self a favor and don't go unless you feel comfortable in a jail house with nothing to do and don't try to express yourself on any matters or concerns you might have regarding your personal property that will be answered with a threat of police involvement and a (N. T. O) no trespass order

All things considered. The behavior of the staff members was far more vile than the people that had no choice but to seek refuge at this pathetically operated facility. One woman in particular.and yes, one bad apple. After all. Aren't all homeless the same and should be treated as such? One disgusting woman wouldn't let anyone use the toilet. Body functions had to be relieved outside. Absolutely disgusting is the only way to describe her behavior. Lady, I'm sorry that you are fat, disgusting, a slob and probably going to live the rest of your executive bathroom guard life stuck in a barrel of bacon grease then choke to death on the poor spoon youvuse to gluten it down with. Have a wonderful life you pig!

They have helped my son, who has bad anxiety in the first place, start the process of getting sober. He sounds relieved they have answers he relates to.

The staff for the most part are pretty friendly and helpful. There are no amenities/showers and theft of personal items and bags is the main issue.

This place is supposed to be a detox yet I find it strange that you would put a detox somewhere and then allow people to use drugs around the entire building. I have heard that you're more likely to be taken in if you act out of it - being clear headed from two days of sobriety won't help you here. The place has a lice out break. It is very unorganized. I think the staff do a great job and they are friendly but the whole organization is broken and in need of restructuring.

Arrogance and pride get in the way of helping homeless families this place is a joke so are the staff

Well I don't know what to say exactly about this place. The staff seem terribly disgruntled and angry about having to work there and seem to have a strong distaste and major dislike for homeless/addicted/mentally ill people, even though that is what they are in contact with all day everyday. Strange and confusing and often times very rude and hurtful towards those that they are "dealing" with (more properly put, berating might be more accurate) without any care or concern for the plight that it causes to them within their day. Might want to screen prior to hiring and contemplate a way to weed out those already working within the service and squeezing them out in hopes of saving some face before something terrible or further beyond reason takes place causing serious problems down the road like I'm sure will happen as its only a matter of time. If you hate what you do and who you do it with it for then let it go and quit. That simple.

Winter is coming. Now is the time to clean out your closets and maybe those items you haven't worn can help keep someone warm. I just went in the front door and they take the items to sort in the back. What they can't use goes to the Diabetes Society.
