Safety Connections

Got fall protection and aerial lift training through safety connections, Andy was an amazing instructor. Looking forward to going there for future tickets.

I have just completed three courses through Safety Connections (NSC, ODA & H2S). All these courses were instructed by Andrew Cowan. I am writing this review to say I really appreciated the way Andrew tought these courses. He was able to take his real life experience and implement it into his method of training. He was able to keep all the participants in the class engaged throughout the durations which in the end made it easier to learn and retain the information. The facility was well maintained and everyone was really nice from the woman at the front desk to the owner. I would highly recommend Safety Connections to others!

Amazing training school.
John is very funny and he make lessons easy and understandable.

Had such a fun time being able to learn of to drive a 18 speed. My instruction was Shane aka tiny and I could’ve never asked for someone better, doing my melt program with John Patrick and Shane was such a blast and the management team they had there was also incredible. I’ve now been driving since may 18th and without the incredible instructors there I’d still be asking myself what’s a shifter

Kind people to deal with. As I do presentations in many driving schools across Alberta, Safety Connections is always welcoming to me and what we present.

I got the best experience here with renewing my safety tickets.
Everything, what you need: H2S, First Aid, Confined Space, Ground Disturbance, Fall Protection. Both Theory and Practice.
Also I got government founded light equipment operator training: telehandler, manlift, skid steer, dozer, mini excavator!
I got two wallets of diferent tickets and got a lots of hours of driving experience there! Will be come back in three years for renewing!

The safety connections is a very good. Opportunity to get better at driving in everything. Very good people to work with. Good teachers

I took the intermediate course with Caroline and it was very informative. A lot of great information to take back to work. Caroline is a great instructor!

I had a 1st aid course booked for a Wednesday. Early morning Wednesday I got a cal from a family member who n deed help but didn't think it would take too long. At 7: 30 am I got an up date that they'd be another hour.
I phoned the office and left a message.

I arrived at the office at 9: 30. They refused admittance because I was one hour late with a very legit reason. This is a course I've taken 10 times minimum (cash grab). The first hour is filling out paperwork for the most part.

That said it was St. John's policy.
I understand policy. It's not written in stone.
Pure garbage

Patrick was my instructor for my class one training. He was really easy to deal with and very good at teaching. Was 100% comfortable with driving after finishing the course. I would highly recommend going safety connections for all your training and courses.

I did my MELT program and First Aid with Connections Career and Safety in Medicine Hat, AB and I would highly recommend this school to anyone! These guys are the best! Every staff member I met or trained with was outstanding with helping me, communicating or teaching and training me to help me easily understand anything I might have been struggling with in the past. My driving instructor, Chris Vass, made me feel welcome every single morning I showed up, he was calm, helpful and understanding and that made me even more determined to learn and put in my hours willingly, patiently and enjoyably! They went by so fast and calmly, it was beautiful learning experience! These guys made my biggest dream happen, and for that I will forever be thankful and will continue referring them to all my friends! I highly recommend anybody taking these courses to check out what they have to offer! To all the staff at Connections Career and Safety, Thank You!

I recently completed the two month Mandatory Entry Level Training (MELT) program for obtaining your Class 1 license at Connections Career and Safety. It was a great program with the instruction in the classroom and training in the truck being top notch!

Dallas was the instructor in the classroom and my trainer in the truck and he was outstanding! He was very knowledgeable, patient and made things really easy to understand which made the entire progression through the program a great experience.

Lynn at the front desk was also very helpful. She answered all my questions when I first applied to the program which made for no surprises. She was very organized and made sure we completed all program milestones on time.

I also completed a First Aid course with Caroline as the instructor and it was a great course and explained very well.

I would definitely recommend the team at Connections for any safety courses you need!

Classroom and practical instruction for the MELT program from Dallas and Travis was excellent. Chris, John, Jenessa and Chris were excellent as well, offering help whenever anyone needed a hand. Caroline always does a great job when I've taken First Aid, and Lynn is as good as anybody at keeping everything running. I'd have no problem taking training from any of these people because they're 10/10.

Super helpful and willing to help however they can. I recommend!

Was an educational course and Andy was a very good instructor keeping things interesting and fun.
