Safeway Beacon Heights Shopping Centre

I go here during my lunch period and it is always a nice place and no one is ever rude. It does feel like you’re walking into the White House because of all the security but it’s justified since there is a high school next to it. I wish there were more small bags of chips you could buy and a better selection of soda. The seating around it is good but I hate that the employees will take a smoke break and throw their cigarette buts right where we sit. Other than that it’s good

Very helpful! Yesterday my car key batteries was dead and just don’t know what to do. Found that there are batteries in the customer service. I don’t know how to change it but the staff were very helpful and change the battery for me. Big thank you and much appreciated.

Lol-I just encountered the rudest and most unhelpful cashier this evening. And, is it Safeway's new policy to have customers pack their own groceries now?
I'm confused.
I very likely won't be back there again.

Stopped in search of caffeine and discovered something new and serendipitous: a hydroponic display cabinet containing seedling spices to take home and plant in your own garden. Great idea! Can't get much fresher than that. Starbucks' blonde roast still stole the show, though. Need the right meds for the right job.

Very helpful store clerks. I don’t have his name unfortunately, but I had asked if there was a certain lasagna they still carried. He ordered it in and it was there within a couple of days. Great service and I will be happy to continue to give my business to this location. The pharmacist Carolyn is also a pleasure to deal with and very helpful!

Amazing store, super friendly staff and the security is just outstanding with his excellent services. I have to shop late because of my work schedule, I'm always worried about something happing and today I saw the security guard standing outside the store watching the parking lot. It made me feel safe and shopped in comfort. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it and hope to see him again. I love shopping at Safeway.

Every thing ok, i think rhe asparagus should be dip in the water, so they wont be easily dry out, the punch of spinach is pretty old that i bought today.and i have a little suggestion that the washrom should have a sign showing is vaccancy or occupied instead i have to ask everyone for the key all the way down to the deli department.

So many of the people go the extra mile. The store managers get right in there to help. I love the Safeway Starbucks folks, too!

Normally I shop at Safeway at North Hill Mall, however today I was passing by and needed to stop in for a few things and I noticed that they use the same security as north hill safeway - the guard was friendly and welcoming, I must say I am very impressed by there uniforms. It felt good seeing the same company Im use to. The store was clean, the staff were all very friendly, I was unable to locate cream of tartar and was helped by a staff member, overall I had a very pleasant experience. I will be shopping here again.:)

Visited this place for the first time a few days ago but only to get a transit pass but the staff was friendly, nice and helpful. The place was clean, organized. Not much I can say but I can definitely recommend coming here if your looking for transit passes.

Bad service by a cashier named Rebecca, l was greeting her twice andshe refuse to greeting me, by the look of ir my skin color was the issue

Store is doing a great job with safety and cleaning. Not sure how people can still miss the bright pink arrows tho.

Tends to be pretty busy around 5-7pm.
I wouldn't buy meat here, the meat department is mediocre at best.

I cannot say enough praise for the amazing staff at the beacon heights safeway. They have gone above and beyond all expectations during this pandemic.
My spouse is immunocompromised and I explained this to the management at the store and they were so gracious and empathic with my dilemma that they allowed me to order online and use curbside pickup to get the groceries we needed for the week.
They didn't have to do this. It was not their policy but they took the time to make sure that all their customers are looked after and for that, I am forever grateful.

This store is not following social distancing guidelines. The store was crowded and no one was following the few arrows on the floor.

It's 9: 18 pm and they've closed all the self check out tills and all the others but one.with 11 people in the line up. Absolutely ridiculous. Not my first issue with this store.especially during Covid.hate this location and wished there was another option within walking distance. This place needs new management from the top down.

I had stopped going there, because the service from the staff was dreadful. Went back to get something specific, and found the service to have improved.

Have always found what I needed here with fair prices. I find that the bakery at safeways are also surprisingly much better than other supermarkets.

Been coming to this Safeway for the last 2 years. Staff is always friendly -Alba always greets me with a big smile and a nice convo. The place is always clean, and the starbucks staff is also very helpful.

Not coming back, came here multiple times to get milk, very poor on dairy inventory. No cashiers at cash counters, only one cash till was available, people at self check out were lined up all the way to the daily coolers. Poor customer service, not good. Looks like they gonna shutdown soon.

Bought a Tim Hortons pre packaged coffee, only to discover it was 3 months expired and chunky. No wonder it was on sale. Nasty.

Worst customer experience I have ever encountered. I went to self check out because I was in a hurry and didn’t want to be late. Self checkout was empty, while scanning my things I asked the attendant if the yogurt I was buying was in fact on sale as it did not appear that way on the screen. She then had someone price check it, which it was on sale. After fixing it and making a joke about self checkout taking ages when I mentioned being in a rush she made another joke about never using self checkout if you’re in a hurry.when I got to my car I thought to myself it was a bit pricy considering I was only picking up a few items. Looking at the receipt I was triple charged for the yogurt. When I came back in the lady told me I had scanned it after they price checked it and that it was my fault not theirs.they called for a manager over the intercom and she walked toward me as slowly as she possibly could, only to walk away because I was asking for a refund on something I didn’t even get too quickly!? !? I was in a rush and trying to be efficient by going through self checkout. When she started to walk away from me I asked who I needed to call or ask for help since I WANT my refund before leaving.finally after walking back around the building another manager is finally gathered to help. She was very confused and didn’t apologize for the poor “customer service”
After asking if I had to bring in my bag of groceries to get my refund I was finally produced with my money.
WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DOLLAR THERE.

There's a Starbucks inside this Safeway otherwise pretty standard for a grocery store. It's pretty big and I went there on a Saturday morning and didn't have to wait in line.

I like that they have organic flours, and another organic stuff. Just 5 minutes from home. So convenient. Love their "special saving"
