Poor packing, ripped paper bags, overfilled bags, staff arguing on the sales floor, staff rough bagging product, staff touching product while wearing dirty fuzzy gloves, meat put on top of produce in bags, Draino put in with food. Totally mental.
If you're looking for a store security guard to follow you around incessantly then this is the place for you, to then go to a teller and hear how someone was playing the "RACE CARD" while they were being followed (she was talking about me). This place is terrible for this type of activity, its a shame its so close to where I live, but I wont be back for a long long time, next time, I'm bringing my megaphone to sort things out. Just go to Co op, it's across the street.
I had a wisdom tooth removed, in advance the place that removed it sent out my pain medication in advance so it could be ready for me to pick up on my way home from surgery. When I got to this Safeway however they hadn't even looked at my prescription let alone start it. I had to stand and wait for over 30 minutes in pain and out of it for them to fill and she forgot part of the prescription on the counter. Don't use the pharmacy if you don't need to.
Very clean and laid out very was easy to find what I needed was the no issues at all very friendly staff and had no wait at the tills great place to shop check it out for your self
Everything was clean, well presented and priced. Also when the cashier at the self check out saw us floundering with an item she immediately came over to help. Yay for customer service!
Went for Chinese dinner and had the following, 1 spring roll, chicken fried rice, Shanghai noodles and 200 grams each of ginger beef, teriyaki chicken, lemon chicken, and black pepper beef. It was dry, hard, and just revolting. Never have I ever had such disgusting meal. The man who was working there should be ashamed to have served this garbage.i believe that it must have been put in there in the morning/ lunch and instead of throwing it out when it was in there too long you served it to us. Safeway is going to make someone seriously ill having such practices, once it's in there for a 4 hour time through it away. What a waste of 30 dollars, I we fell like we got ripped off.we ended up tossing it in the trash; where it belonged. Never again.
The self serve is not 100% complete so I don't recommend it. I couldn't use a payment method there but I could with a human being. Use the human. Shun the machine.
This is a good Safeway. They have good selection and they're very clean. Wait times at the checkout can be a little much at times but other than that it's very good.
Not bad store the curtouse Clark are very nice keep that habits as much as possible.try to switch with the starbucks waiters and teach them how to serve the public.
The store is bigger, brighter and pleasant to visit. It adds more diversified food items, seafood section, a large cheese corner, cooked food sections and more fresh bakery.
This safeway has the worst bakery in the city, hasn't always been bad but within the last year the quality has become subpar at best. I'll be going to a different safeway next time I need baked goods.
Check out fast and staff great. Nstocking staff not as friendly. Store has changed so hardbto find some things. Was condescending when was asked. Middle aged guy. Some great sales. Some horrible prices. Selection decent.
This place was amazing! It had so many different foods. I literally could buy milk that wasn't even real milk! They recently moved the butter and margarine which was a big bummer, but they made up for it by having a full aisle of chips! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that is looking for food.
Bright new store with a friendly staff. Their cheese counter is much more enticing and they practice social distancing with clear markings for flow. Enjoy!
Safeway is Safeway. New renovations and new carts but prices up significantly! Trying to compete with Coop? Fixed income makes choices a challenge but at times can find discounted meats and fish to suit your needs. Surprised cattle rustling not back again! LOL!
I've been going to this Safeway since I was a kid. Always friendly and helpful staff and better selection than most Safeways. They have been very proactive during this crisis and I appreciate their hard work.
After the renovation the place has a nicer look and few more products added to their assortment. It already carries a good variety of products from affordable everyday produce, meat and bread to more specialty/gourmet cold cuts, sauces, fruits and juices.
Three different places for cheese? ! Really? Product placement makes no sense. Limited organic selection. And no that doesn't make me 'that person'. It was simply very frustrating navigating that store. Cashier was helpful and offered to take the 2 care packages i purchased for the Veterans Food Bank to the drop off spot for me. That was appreciated.
This is the second time i have bought juice from Safeway in Crowfoot that is way past expiry. The first time i let it slide but i’m sorry the fact that we just bought juice in the last week with an expiry date of November 5th is too much.its so sour.
Actually it was very enjoyable! Most people were polite, keeping their distance. Really impressed with the addition and revamp of the interior, will be nice when it is completed!
Need more staff, was looking for help finding the correct milk product. Couldn't find any one to help. Safeway need to hire more employees to help customers.
Won't be back. Staff were very good-but they have scent (Vanilla) sprayed on you during shopping-and as someone VERY sensitive to scents and a previous chemo patient this is NOT Ok. Not a bright move management.
The first thing you notice about the store is the atmosphere.for me, the dark wood and quite place is really nice for me! The bakery is pretty decent, but really disorganized.cakes all over the place and different placings of bread.but, if you do get a bakery item, it may be a bit more, but it is worth it.the second thing is the main groceries! They are quite a bit more expensive for items you can get 2 minutes down the road.also, they have a very good selection of gift cards and drinks.the freezer section is alright, but nothing really different.the staff are extremely friendly, and the tills (cashiers) are a little slow because covid, but overall, it's a normal grocery store.
They have all the food options and a great deli. I didn't have the trouble with lineups that others right about but maybe just the time or the day. I was fortunate? Staff were pleasant and smiling.all good from where I stood. Thank you
