Safeway Glenmore Landing

Very bright and clean store. Large aisles, and it's easy to find what you are looking for. They have a large section for kosher items, which I have never seen at a Safeway. It's worth a visit if you are in the area and need some groceries.

This Safeway ALWAYS smells like sewage. I stopped going for a while and still months after it still smells like an outhouse. That cannot be sanitary! Avoid the fecal Safeway at all costs!

This is the busiest parking area in whole city! The inside is better than 5 years ago when I lived close by and shopped regularly

Really great location, clean and looks to be recently renovated. The bakery was full, even after 5pm. The shelves looked full and faced. I'll definitely be making this a regular stop for me and my family.

Ps: prices are what they are. Not the highest not the lowest. Some stores offer more than just cheap prices, they offer a comfortable shopping experience, and Safeway has always been that.

First time here. It was not a busy store as one would expect considering the demographic. Surprising.

Starbucks staff is very polite and friendly, good attitude towards customers.
Everybody is very kind and hard workers. A young man made me a drink and it was very tasty and everybody was so happy and very polite. Excellent service!

I love it. Nice presentation, very clean, have a gas station under Safeway name. I want to tell anyone using air miles program at Safeway that Safeway now using different application called Scene+

I mean, safeway, is safeway. But the lovely lady at the till was wonderful. She's a bit older, with Harry potter glasses, and not only is super kind, but was telling great stories, best cashier I've ever had met.

Since Safeway was bought by Sobeys, selection has suffered. Many of my favorite brands are no longer available. The Westhills store still has a friendly staff, is well kept and well stocked.

Ordered trays for a corporate meeting. A few sandwich trays, a breakfast tray, and a cookie tray, along with fruits and veggies.
I mean, they're trays, right? But they did them up very nicely, and the food quality was above my expectations. It totaled out to a decent price and overall I was more than happy with both the product and the service.

This used to be my favorite store, but it has been just awful lately. Everything moved around, products missing, constantly sold out of important items. Cashier tonight was rude, and that was the tipping point. I won't be coming back here, time to use the Co-op.

Safeway is Safeway. I did find the place actually really clean but I think generally Safeway is always a clean place to shop at which I appreciate. Unfortunately today I went to grab tofu and there was a large amount of expired Tofu. I can understand expired items can get overlooked and as shoppers it is also for us to keep an eye on expiry dates when purchasing, but it would have been frustrating getting home to cook then realizing it was already expired. This has happened to me a few times at other places and it's just not fun. Otherwise, quick check out process and friendly staff.

Parking lot is always full and the set up is so confusing. Good thing they have great staff to direct you to what you want.

This is my favorite store I like to visit for shopping. It just walking distance from my house and has everything I need. Good service

Horrible experience with there food here. This is the third time this has happens to me with ordering wings. I thought the first 2 times this happened I would give them the benefit of the doubt but seriously who on earth would eat these hard burned day old wings? I was so excited to them once I got home to my surprise they looked like this. So disappointed in a store I thought could hold there standards unbelievable.

Friday, Dec 20,2019 at 7: 30 PM. This store has really gone downhill compared to other Safeways or other grocery stores in general. The location allows them to overcharge for items as there is no competition closeby. There was no sourdough bread, small cucumbers were $3.00 each. The cashier gave me "attitude" when I asked her for a price check on an item, and she told me to use the self scanner. Just plain rude. The new girl working at the deli didn't know what to do when I asked her for a few items. When I checked out, the cashier there picked up one of my items and said " This is a really good deal" and looked shocked, as if to say " This never ever happens here". I would not recommend buying groceries from this store.

This is the closest one to me now after the closed down the one by southland.
But good people

It was a good store. Decent lay out. Lots of staff. The only problem i had is that I went there for some fresh toast to impress my Tinder date if she stayed for breakfast, but all they had was bread. How do you run out of a simple thing like toast?

Worst layout ever have never been so confused or lost in any grocery store like this one no assistance from staff and nothing was planned out very well when they built this store

Quite possibly the beat #safeway ever. This location has a ton of #vegan options and #glutenfree options which we need. The staff are also great.

Been going here for years. Great selection on fresh produce and meats. The staff is very friendly and helpful too

What a fantastic store in every way! I live closer to a different Safeway but last night I had been at the hospital late and flew over to this location hoping to make it. I wasn't sure of the time but knew it had to be super close to closing. It was at closing. The two women there were beyond phenomenal (I regrettably didn't check their nametags). They were both so unbelievably warm, welcoming, kind and generous with their time and attention. Absolutely wonderful! I'll definitely go out of my way to come back to this store because of my experience here. Thanks again ladies

I wouldn’t normally review a grocery store (because a safeways a Safeway), but this Safeway has a “sensory friendly” shop time on Monday 6-8 where the lights are dimmed and the music turned off so that those with sensory input disorders can shop without feeling so overwhelmed. I just think that’s so lovely. The small things really do matter. This is a great practice and I would love to see it in more places.

This my second low review of this store. Went in as it’s my neighbourhood grocery store. All I wanted was soup base. For beef and barley. Couldn’t find it. I was shocked that this store wouldn’t have such a item. After speaking with multiple staff. Found it in the Koucher section. My advice. If you shop here pretend your Jewish. Then the store opens up to a whole new level of food discoveries.

I like the size of this Safeway. It has more options and larger departments than the one I usually go to

Typical Safeway, parking is horrendous but that's due to contraction on 14th street and 90th ave. Super busy and only 1 way out but that's not the Safeway's fault. Probably not bad to get to during the week.

Over the past few months shelves are sparse and regularly stocked items are not found. Fruits are tired and rot within a a couple of days of purchase. Getting more difficult to say loyal here. This is my neighbourhood store and I frequent it 3 -4 times a week. So my frustration is growing. Today your deli ran out of chicken fingers over the dinner hour and could not make more because their fryer was closed. Really it's the supper hour? Looking to replace you! Sorry!

Typical Safeway, wider selection of Kosher goods. Always good deals on pork loins and seems to always have black kale, which brings us back again and again. Laid out a little weird, but produce always full and fresh.

Always used to experience great customer service and helpful attitudes. Lately it is hard to find staff and wait timea thru tills is notable and long.

I always appreciate the professional staff but the freshness of the produce and variety for a smaller store is great. There seems to always be discounted meat in this Safeway more than others.

You know with all the construction going on around there you think you would have something good in that Deli like made fresh bowls all Asia made fresh bulls that would be nice

Definitely a very nice Safeway, one to stay away from at this time with all the construction on the corner. Definitely a place to go
