Safeway Okotoks

Love the Rachelle Bery section it has great natural products, including St Francis Herb Farm. My favorite!

This new store is beautiful and has a great selection of products. I specifically drive to this location because I love the fresh panini buns they make. On top of that, the staff are all super friendly & helpful!

Went to get groceries today. I'm glad your profits are so high. Only one till open and seven people in line. Great customer service.

Good place to go when you want to shop and enjoy a Starbucks coffee in conjunction; since there is a small booth inside the store near the checkout, I personally go get a coffee and browse around the store with my beverage, I like that they have baskets at the end of the isle near the dairy, I usually go in for one thing but end up getting more than I can carry.

Great store with great staff. I like the new scene app and am excited to see the new store in okotoks when it opens

Staff is not the kindest. Prices are a bit higher than other grocery stores in town. The store is clean and tidy

I LOVE SAFEWAY.

This was a once in a LIFETIME opportunity! They had fantastic product including CHOCOLATE CORE POWER PROTEIN SHAKES which can be very limited at places. I would 10/10 recommend visiting this location and getting all them groceries here. The customer service is PHENOMENAL and I HIGHLY recommend the key lime individual slice of pie. VERY delicious.

The cashier were very friendly s early in the morning was great to see and they were very helpful and the best fresh baked cheesy hamburger buns I have to say ever had right out of the oven.

Such friendly and funny people here, they made me feel like a local on my first visit. Best experience I've had at at any pharmacy too.

I whent in at 5 looking for garlic bread and they were out of stock. When i inquired, an employee named Nathyn dropped what he was doing and offered to make one up for me. Normally you have to ask an employee to do that and they make you feel like an inconvenience. Nathyn did it with a smile, and my dinner is complete. Will be back.

I especially love their flatbread specials they make. I do special trips to grab a couple each week

Safeway in general is our favorite grocery store. Produce is always really well kept here and the lay out is nice and always clean.

The store is all mark to walk by safety is well taken care of all carts are sprayed staff are very friendly and all item are well displayed

Good place to shop, it sometimes has limited selection. Like today i tried to buy naan bread and they didnt have much on the shelf, it was a little disappointing. Though otherwise it is a good place to shop, oh and watch the prices, sometimes they mix up tags or leave old tags on and you end up spending more than you expect

It's a Sobeys so all the things I loved about Safeway are gone. Nice thing is that if Sobeys runs out of an item you can probably get it at Safeway.

I have always loved this location. It has front and rear access for the large parking lot. Always clean and tidy outside. The inside is also very well kept. The produce and bakery are large, both with large selections. The butcher is well stocked as well. The only complaints I have about this location are always the same. No Safeway gas station in Okotoks means the gas coupons are kinda useless. And the lack of a rewards program after being purchased by Sobeys.

Typical Safeway. Clean and well stocked. Staff is friendly. They do have a pretty good bakery. Lots of fresh choices bagels, donuts cakes etc.

Centrally located which makes it more convenient. Clean, well-stocked, friendly and helpful staff. Owned by Sobeys so it always has the same specials without having to shop at a larger store.

Great selection of product. They carry harder to find items and their deli is fantastic. Plus they now have tap at check-out.

Great place to shop. Always got something on sale that's needed when I pop in for a quick stop.

At the end of shopping today went through the till of cashier Sheila M. This lady might be the best cashier I have ever dealt with. She has a happy demeanour, very pleasant looking, knowledge of product and specials. She also is very fast at running product through her till and one of the few I have met recently who actually knows how to bag. She put the perishables together and the fragile items like pie separate. As she did them she mentioned what she had put in the bag and not to stack on top of it. I did have one of your other cashiers put a pie in sideways in the bag with disastrous results. Anyway Sheila finished off by telling me about Air miles specials and then sent me off with a cheery Have a great day.
A person this conscientious about her job in the year 2018 should probably be training new employees. By the way, I also noted as I proceeded around the store a number of cheery greetings from staff and helpfulness.

Pharmacy is great. But mgmt on the rest of the store is weak grumpy staff, unorganized store etc.

This Safeway is conveniently located, and gets by on that fact alone. It has some of the worse fresh produce and bakery items of any of the major grocery chains. If you're looking for fresh, same-day made, healthy items found in those locations, you're better served going to Sobey's (co-owned surprisingly), and Save-On, both of which are just down the street. Though most people are lazy and put up with the lousy selection because this place is located close to a lot of residential areas. Otherwise everything in this store is adequate.
