Safeway Westbrook Shopping Centre

They need to take better care of their inventory. Other Safeways have the products that are constantly missing here.

Nice like all Safeway.unfortunately Westbrook Mall still old and I don't like too much. I hope for renovation asap to compete with other malls and have more shops and services.

It's 8: 45, the store closes at 10, all the self-checkouts are closed, there's only 1 till open and there's a guy there buying out the entire store. All I have is milk. I want to buy milk, but you can't buy milk here right now. This is one if those places that closes before closing time.

Very poor service at sandwich bar. Slow and not professionnals service 30 mins waiting for a sub. Crazy!

They had the Butterball Stuffed Turkey Roll! $17.99 and organic mandarin oranges

Very clean Safeway, lovely Safeway I felt so great getting greeted by the staff who were amazingly welcoming! Definitely recommend this local Safeway to get your groceries at.

The staff here is so nice, but this 3 star is for the floor walker company named Vaughn. I've been shopping here for years because I'm close by. I prefer to spend the extra money instead of going to Walmart, but good lord the security team is horrible at their job. It's always 2 young guys wearing hats and either with no basket or a basket full of random things. Vaughn needs to retrain these guys because it's funny to watch them run and follow people who are regulars. Its comical to see. If they actually want to catch someone they need to be less obvious about it.

I have been going to this Safeway for years. The clerks are all helpful and friendly. Shelves are stocked. Can always find everything I need.

Great location! Close to the train if you don't have a vehicle. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Store is kept clean and pretty well stocked. Hasn't been any cases of diet coke for a solid week though. Going home to the wife empty handed again

This location has great customer service! This location also offers Sensory-friendly shipping every Monday from 7to 9pm. Kudos to them for including people that require accommodation!

It wasn't open at 8qm usually store hours so I wasn't to impressed especially when there is only specific intems they carry they opened up at 10am

Its Safeway so its overpriced and slow check out even if they are not busy the seem busy as they open so few tills

They got groceries! It's attached to the mall but I don't think you can access it from inside the mall.

What a great staff. I have never had a bad experience at this location, everyone is so amenable!

I shop at this store all the time! The staff and management have done such a great job of implementing safety of the customers with diligent work on sanitizing the shopping carts, hand baskets & providing no touch hand sanitizer in the lobby.
I love the large direction markers on the aisle floors as it makes shopping with other shoppers in the store less confusing and safe.
I must mention that the cashiers do such an amazing job at keeping up the positivity and kindness despite all that's happening in the world.
Oh.and it's so nice to see how they have made their store so bright and cheery decorations for Christmas as soon as you see the outside entrance, in the lobby, (LOVE the scent of their cinnamon pine cones!) and immediately the big beautiful poinsettias, Christmas plants in the floral Dept.and throughout the store!
So cheery and heart warming ️️

They’ve been barricading their mall entrance lately, what’s up with that? ! Unless if they’re updating their entrance then okay fine we’ll forgive you but we’d appreciate if there was a professional notice what’s really going on.i like this safeway store a lot as they have natural/organic section right in the middle of their groceries aisles, infront of pharmacy.but some of my favorite items have been out of stock for a while now in organic section so they need to replenish their shelves soon.their deli and produce is always full of fresh fruits and veggies and meals to go.i sometimes come here for hot lunch and the staff in deli are always friendly, welcoming, and professional, they really make a difference to your shopping experience here.

This Safeway is poor.
Meat counter closes way too early during the week, they never have enough cashiers (usually only 2), the produce is so expensive (though that’s probably a Safeway thing), and the deli sections are small.

This is my go-to Safeway in the area. I find the establishment to be clean and well organized. The staff are always friendly and helpful as well. Really enjoyed their deli section and sandwich section. The meat guys are awesome as well

Best one I have been in. I live nexxt to the one on 11th and 8th and cannot stand it since they renovated it and seen staff tossing the fruit and veggies So now I come to this one at WestBrook Mall and I find it to be the best one with the most nicest staff and Manager.

Bad experience today. Store was a mess and produce was really poor. Staff seemed cold - bad shift perhaps

Generally decent, but prices can be high and this location has alot of undesirables roaming around at night. Wouldnt reccomend going alone after dark.

I only went there sometimes because of convience.

Has a well equipped deli counter and bakery, as well as good sale prices on a variety of items. Store is always clean and organized, produce fresh, and staff polite and courteous. They are overpriced on certain staple items, but overall they have lots of good deals and specialty products.

All the employees here, are super nice, and very helpful. I've been coming here since I was a little kid. This Safeway also features a Tim Hortons.

This particular Safeway is okay. They have a decent staff that are willing to help out. During busy times sometimes the lines are not managed all too well. The overall premise and layout of the store is nice. The bakery area is well done and high quality but the fresh fruits and veggies are typically sub-par at best.

The produce is always in really bad shape. This store runs out of oriental items often like rice paper but everything else is fine.

Always quiet and a stress free shopping experience. Even better when compared to its neighboring competitor in the mall. Just go here instead. Pay a dollar more for your bacon. You'll thank me.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Today I asked them to slice up a ham like they have done many times before and I was told they wouldn't cut it until it was cold. The reason I come here is for the hot fresh ham and I was told if I wanted it I had to wait a half hour in the store while my other meat expires.geniuses

The service I got at the pharmacy today was disgraceful! I had a prescription and today was the last refill and she told me it was done, I could see it sitting behind her so I asked her to look and she wouldn't even turn about and look for it. I had to get another pharmacist to hep me thankfully he wasn't lazy and got it for me no problem. Very Very Bad customer service!

Start with a positive: very kind staff who are also helpful. Low rating because perishable food items are still stocked when they expire on same day/in 1 day, with no mark down or indication of such. This has been a consistent problem at this location. Will be shopping at other Safeway locations.

They block main entrance from leaving store without going through till first, even if you never purchised anything! But got to get past till lineup!

Great. Just love shopping there. Picked up mini heritage type tomatoes to make a meatless pasta dinner. My own recipe, of course.

Horrible. The cashier didn't bag all my items. Didn't notice until I got home. Will not return.
