SAFFRON East Indian Restaurant

Visiting Lethbridge and decided to try this restaurant as it was close to the hotel and we love Indian food.

The Host was amazing. Very lovely man and we had a great chat with him.

Pakoras were our appetizer followed by Fish curry, chicken korma, rice and garlic Naan. Dear sir.please send me your fish curry recipe as it is the best I have had!

We will definitely come.back again next time we are in Lethbridge!

I had a fantastic takeout experience! The eggplant and bhindi masala were phenomenal, and the cheese garlic naan was a perfect accompaniment. Don't miss out on their delicious Gulab jamun and kulfi for dessert. Thanks for the great service!

I ordered Kaju Khoya and cheese garlic naan with Shrikhand and kulfi.

It was a pickup order the staff was very good. I met chef personally he was very nice to meet him.

The Kaju Khoya was very accordingly my taste the kitchen member understood my taste and yeah they made delicious.

Cheese garlic naan is highly recommended.

In abroad it’s really difficult to get that same taste as India and i got it here. The vada pav is the best here. The food was so good and the service is fantastic. You get the fresh food.

Delicious. Wonderfully flavourful Indian that I wouldn't be able to recreate at home (and I try, regularly, with ingredients you can't just buy locally). There's obviously close guarded secrets (ingredients and/or technique) to these dishes, so you know it's authentic. Great service and very friendly (the owner was always checking in on our experience). The story goes, this owner had an Indian restaurant in the U. K.before coming to "L. A. ". Calling all Brits-this is the place.

Best place for Indian food in Lethbridge, you must go here if you haven't already. Food is amazing and the Paneer Chilli is to outstanding! Unlike any other I've tried before!

If you are looking for authentic Punjabi taste; Saffron restaurant is the perfect place. I have been to many Indian restaurants in Calgary and Lethbridge, but the taste at this restaurant is pure Punjabi taste. Their quantity and price, I am not sure if anyone in Lethbridge or Calgary can compete with them.

The restaurant was great and very very friendly, the owner and his daughter communicates really good with customers and the food tastes goooooooddddddttttt

Worst service ever…waited for more than an hour for the food.after half the time the server comes and tells sorry we don’t have this for your order …the server was least bothered about taking orders or apologizing for the delay…i wish i could give 0 ratings…the restaurant was so dirty…neither the owner nor the servers are bothered for the customers.

Chole Bature was pretty good, overall nicely surprised first time eating there, will be back!

I really enjoyed my meal and the experience. I had a delicious extra spicy butter chicken curry with rice and garlic naan. Washed it down with a tall glass of a tasty creamy drink, mango lasse. Enjoyed the whole experience with Hindi tunes in the background.

Hoping to be a regular, and will bring friends and family.

Delicious! And spicy without the oil separating from the rest of the dish like I've found in other restaurants. 10/10 would eat here again!

We were pleasantly surprised to find the Saffron restaurant in Lethbridge. The food was delicious, the dishes were generous, piping hot, the naan bread was baked perfectly and the meal was finger licking good.
Highly recommend this restaurant.

Best Indian restaurant in Lethbridge and beyond that, all of Alberta, by far! The food is so perfect, every bite is an explosion of flavours! The chef is a real artist. Will be coming here weekly!
