Was in yesterday because I decided I needed a change. I was helped by a wonderful lady, Amanda. Her knowledge of product was very helpful. I needed to strip my hair so she helped me with product for that and also helped pick the colours I needed after showing her some photos. After I stripped my hair I ended up loving the colour it turned out so I went back and Amanda was happy to return the original colours I had purchased and helped me pick another colour to cover up the grey roots. I absolutely love my hair and can’t thank Amanda enough! You’re customer service was above and beyond!
The two staff today were friendly and helpful. I did a bad job describing the products I was looking for and the staff suggested we look it up in my account. Staff also mentioned that the colours I bought are returnable if only a little is used, which gave me peace of mind. Literally no other locations have mentioned this store policy before! Thanks!

Montana was super helpful, She knew what bleach to help take my murky multicolor undertones out so I could have a clean canvas to recolor and helped me pick out a couple new dyes and hair-masks to help with bleach damage, super knowledgeable and friendly, 5
This is my favorite sallys to go to! I love dying my hair and experimenting with semi permanent dyes. The woman with the dreads is always on point with her tips and tricks. Her help has always kept my hair looking fabulous and healthy! I trust her recommendations and she's just an absolute joy to deal with. Even if I move out of the area I will always make the trip for this location.
To be frank, i have not had amazing experiences here.this is where i come for my hair dye about once a month, and i only leave 2 stars because while they do have the products i’m looking for the staff are very unhelpful and don’t take their job seriously. I would also like to mention how upsetting it was going in last month to see the worker had dreadlocks even though she was very clearly white. Every time you walk in the staff are chatting amongst themselves and do not even offer to help the customer, i would honestly suggest you seek business elsewhere.
Tammy, the manager, was really great! She actually listened to what I want to do with my hair and made recommendations. I ended up purchasing what she suggested vs.what I went in for. I'll get to my desired result faster! Thank you!

They helped me like they always do. I know what I want for the most part. I always get wella products and typically get the same colors. This time i got a new toning blond, upon their recommendation. I also was given this conditioning booster the last time I was there so I got two this time. It really made a lot of difference in my hair after dying it. But the girls here are always nice, and when one doesn't know the answer the other typically does. Appreciate all the help and guidance.
Really appreciative of the recommendations made for hair repair, it's a slow journey but the products are delivering. With a 2c curl I'm trying to rejuvenate with moisturizing I'm nearly there and will be back
Was just in there today to buy some dye and have been studying how to do it on the sallybeauty website. Was greeted by a lady named Carmelita who was very pleasant and helped me find everything I needed. She was very knowledgeable in the products and I was able to learn a few more things with her tips. I would definitely recommend Carmelita if you need help with your hair at this store. Outstanding customer service which is sadly quite rare these days! If it were possible to give zero stars, trust me, I would. This location has absolutely no customer service to be found. I made a few small purchases a few days ago, and when I got home I realized there was a bottle of color developer thrown into my bag. When I checked the receipt, the cashier had charged me for it. At no point did I ask for color developer or even look down that aisle (I'm actually a stylist and wouldn't use low grade quality product like Color Charm). I checked their return policy on the receipt, which said I was welcome to bring it back within 60 days. Upon going back to the store to return it, both a sales associate and the store manager told me that they were not offering any returns because of Covid. Every other business has been dealing with Covid for 9+ months now and have made appropriate adjustments to their return policies, yet Sally's refused to budge on theirs even though the mistake was very clearly on the part of their staff member, not the customer. They kept repeating that I could return it as soon as they lifted their "restrictions" however were unable to give me a time frame for when that might be. Incredibly disappointed that the staff at this location values keeping money for a product I didn't ever want or intend to purchase, because according to their manager "head office could see if we scanned the return. " Part of good management includes being able to make appropriate decisions for yourself, not blindly following a protocol after your staff member charges a customer for an inappropriate purchase. Take some responsibility and accountability going forward, please.
Went in Sunday for some hair colour and shampoo. I really didn’t know exactly what I needed for my blonde hair. An associate said hi right away and then asked if she could help me find anything. I was impressed with how quickly she was able to point me in the right direction and even recommended shimmer lights toning mask for my blonde hair that is yellowing a bit. She was so friendly and helpful I just had to get her name so that I could praise what a fantastic job she does. Her name was Carmelita and I will 100% be going back to her whenever I need anything from here. Thank you so much!
3 stars because I always buy my hair dye here but the staff knows a lot less then you do. Buy the Argan Oil hair dye. I use the bright colours like purple, pink and blue. YOU DO NOT NEED DEVELOPER FOR THE BRIGHT COLOURS. A couple times when I have gone the girls try to tell me you need the developer for them. DO NOT LISTEN. You only need the developer for the natural colours that say on the box to use with a developer. If you use a developer with the bright colours it will ruin the result. I made the mistake of listening to one of the girls even though I had bought the dye and used it before and it ruined my hair for a vacation. Recently when I was there to get my dye a girl tried to tell me to get the developer even after I said no. She didn't believe me and didn't want to read the packaging either. Remember to buy the Argan Oil Dye and remember that their service is better when the staff are silent!
I came to buy dye to fix my hot roots on lightened brown hair. One of the employees (with indigo blue hair) advised me to use wella toner T14+050 with activating lotion. I was suspicious about toner on brown hair but she assured me that that would work. Of course it didn't. My roots are even more orange now! Don't ask for their advice. Waste of time and money!
I had a great experience at this store today. The ladies were extremely accommodating in finding the products that I was looking for. They have come up with some creative solutions to ensure everyone’s safety.
Such a great experience! The ladies at Sally Beauty on 130th were awesome! Helped me comour match extensions and gave advice on which ones (not even the most expensive ones) would be best for my type of hair. They went out of their way to make sure I would be happy, not to make a sale.which they didn't. They actually gave me the colour lot numbers and recommended I try a different location so I can have the perfect colour match with the perfect application as they were out of stock. Will definitely be going back to see these wonderful ladies!
They say that they have curb-side pickup but no one answers the phone when you call. In order for this to work, you have to answer the phone guys. It just rings busy constantly. Very frustrating. At least have it so we can order on-line for pickup.
Well to my surprise I found out why these comments are writen. I went to this location to pick up curbside. I over heard that why it's so hard to get through on the phone. IS They have Only one line and they are constantly helping people Like US PEOPLE trying to get items Like me I don't always know what products I need " When I used go in Piror to COVID19 I would walk in & obtain the product and then pay. They are doing their best in this situation.
They offer curb side pick up but there is no where on the website to select that option. When calling to speak to someone it doesn’t work. Extremely disappointed.
I visited the store recently and had an excellent experience. The staff in the store are nice and warm. They helped me all the way to pick the right product. It is obvious they know what they are doing:) It appears there is a new management as it wasn't biz as usual. I was told I can try the product and if I do not love it, I can return it and nobody ever told me about that policy. Good job team!
I called specifically asking for the Beauty Blender sponge before driving to this location at 130th. The girl who answered said “Oh yes, they had a couple different ones”. When I got there this brand wasn’t sold here. The “couple different ones” were actually different coloured and sized sponges. When I told them I was specifically looking for that brand, the 2 girls working there looked at each other and rolled their eyes. Staff is obviously unknowledgeable about their product and don’t care about customer service. Manager should do a better job of hiring and training.
