Walked in the store to buy a $100 item. The first employee was pretty hopeful but couldn't find the item I was looking for. So, the manager I believe came to help. I could tell she wasn't the nicest by her demeanor tooward me right away. She eventually comes out from the back and has the item I'm looking for, as I reach for the item she pulls it away for me and rolls her eyes at me at the sametime. She then passes the item to the first employee that was helping me and walks away without even acknowledging my presence once. At this time I'm like wow! But I let go, soon after ther first employee says sorry we've had some thefts in our store lately (in my mind im saying did she just say this to me?). That was it for me, I left without purchasing anything. I'm a black man so I'm pretty sure race played a role in this as well. I won't be buying from this Sally's anymore until she is terminated.

Zero customer service. Bad experience again at this store. I waited to pay for my hair colour & mask for 10-15 mins with a toddler and nobody acknowledged, the ladies were gossiping with seems like family friends. After asking them that if I can pay as my kid is sleepy, they reply rudely that I need to wait. Does it take 15 mins to checkout without any line? Of course I left the store without buying the product and will Never go to this outlet again!
Try other Sally stores like Sherwood park one is really good…

I just want to be able to Instacart or door dash stuff from sally ina rush or when I’m at work at can’t get there till after hours

The last few times I've been in this location I have had nothing but absolutely fantastic customer service and I will continue to keep going to this location as long as they provide this amazing service thank you!

Dailyn and Hayley went above and beyond to provide my mom and I with exceptional customer service when we went to Sally Beauty's Calgary Trail location recently. They were very kind, knowledgeable and patient throughout our visit and demonstrated a strong work ethic. I told Dailyn, the hair colour specialist, that I have been wanting to dye my hair a more vivid colour for several years but was too worried about bleaching and damaging my hair. She was very understanding and encouraged me by recommending a hair-safe brand and colour that she thought would look good on me, showed me photos of how it would turn out, and explained in detail how to apply it. Last night I tried out the hair care products they recommended and immediately noticed a big difference with my hair. We are grateful to them for providing such an uplifting and memorable experience. We will be returning regularly for all of our hair care and colour needs!

Fantastic products and what fabulous staff, they greet with smile help you out to find the right product even return experience is as good as buying. All the best Sally keep it up.

The employees are always happy and friendly! I go out of my way to go to this location because of the staff, consistent stock and good hours.:)

Thank you to the lovely woman who helped me out! I didn't get her name but she had blue and purple hair and was very helpful and patient with me while I was indecisive on my hair color. We ended up settling on mixing two colors and it turned out perfectly Thank you so much!

Sally Beauty is always a fantastic place to go for all your hair, skin and nail needs! The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable of the products they have in store. They can always answer your questions

Staff is kinda rude and not helpful, i knew i was looking for a strawberry blonde/light copper and i was told to just check swatches not assisted, staff had 0 knowledge on colours or treatments.

Told my friend to go here and what to get. Girl talks her out of it. Gives a 20 vol developer with a toner. Her hair was orange and the girl working gave her a purple base instead of blue. Like minum of working here should be knowing the color wheel and how opposites work.recommend the products but do not recommend asking staff.

I really like shopping here. All the associates are very nice and helpful. There is this lady who helped i don’t know her name but she is very sweet and suggested me right product for my hair.

I’m definitely not one to say anything but this time I have to just say that I can’t point fingers nor blame anyone but myself for not sticking to what I know about doing hair for so many years and I took the advice from an employee there and went with a brand and colour she suggested and seemed confident in her knowledge.never again. My hair is green when it should be ash blonde but it’s still my fault for being naive but definitely don’t recommend trusting they know anything about what they’re working for and selling.fml

I had honestly one of the best experiences here today.i wish i had gotten the names of the two ladies who helped me.they were so informative and kind.my hair turned out great, and i am so thankful for their help and just KINDNESS.thank you babies! I’ll be in again soon <3

Had a lady named Ashley help me. She’s absolutely amazing. She was able to suggest some really great products for my specific needs and was super sweet and friendly. Whatever she’s being paid it’s not enough
