Completely mislead on a promotion for a phone trade in. Was explained on pickup I would be emailed a promo code for two $100 vouchers off a $400 purchase. Went in today's as vouchers were never produced explained my purchase date did not qualify. I got the phone pre sale and before the actual release.

This large kiosk is the central distribution hub for Samsung mobility in Edmonton. The staff is very knowledgeable and helped me get the charging port S23 Ultra to function. It's definitely worth a visit as buying the phone directly from Samsung offers the best value over a carrier.

I bought a samsung fold 4 last month with warranty. I asked for the discount on the warranty but was told there was no offer at that moment. I checked their website the next day and saw 50% discount on samsung care expiring March 28. I go back to the store to get the discount applied because I was told I can come back within 60 days to apply the discount on warranty if there's one. The salesperson who helped me before was with another customer so I spoke to another salesperson available there. He was super rude, his tone and the way he was talking was super rude and uncalled for. I mean it clearly looked like he hates his job. I asked to talk to the other person who helped us before because he was at least professional and was willing to explain what happened. They still didn't offered me the discount because they said the online offers are different than the store ones which doesnt make sense because the offer never said exclusive online only. I even showed them a screenshot. I don't understand what did they mean when i was purchasing the device and when they asked me to come back if there's an offer on the warranty. Did they mean to come to the store everyday and check if there's an offer for the warranty (if they dont accept online promotions) ? Whose got that much spare time? So this was my experience which wasn't great. The salesperson for sure needs some training.

Almost two years ago, I bought an S9 phone and a Galaxy Watch 4. I was impressed with the service and advice. Yesterday, the watch broke. The bezel stopped turning. I need that watch to monitor my heart rhythm. When I bought the watch, I was told that if anything happened to it within the first two years, it would be replaced on the spot. Funny thing, today, when I took it to them, I was told oh no, it has to be sent to Toronto and will take a few weeks to repair. I asked if I could trade it in on a new purchase. Nope! The bezel is broken, this watch isn’t worth anything. Don’t trust these people. Don’t trust the product. Not happy.

I had called about my Samsung fridge and my compressor was within warranty and they still did not want to honor it. Then they did not want to help or find any solutions when I was on the phone with customer service. All 3 customer service representatives were not understanding and not able to help me. Just saying “oh well”.
I will never buy another Samsung product again.

Absolutely Brutal compared to Apple products, made the switch from Apple to Samsung as I use Android based software for my business, phone is under warranty still and was told that issues were found including the physical issue of my stylus not being able to be removed from the phone. Was told it could be repaired but my phone would need to be sent in with no estimated time to repair completion and no loaner phones were available. Will be forced to purchase a new Apple phone and revert back to Apple products as they always seem to back there product.

I have a fold3 and the screen protector has developed a crack down the middle. The s reen is 100% fine its the screen protector with the problem and this is a very common problem. I went to the samsung store and they said to fix it they would have to send it off under warrenty and cos its they screen might cost $400. I have samsung care which costs hundreds of dollers. This isnt acceptable.

I went to Samsung store at Southgate to fix the screen protector on my Galaxy z flip. Morris was extremely unhelpful and very rude. He kept giving me different numbers to call and none was helpful. I spent over 45 mins and didn't get any solution.

I Contacted Samsung Canada, gave them the phone ID number, they priced a screen for 460 Dollars, they had me drive all the way to their location just to tell me (We can't fix your Samsung Authentic Phone, although you bought it from Samsung Store overseas, we only Service devices bought in Canada)

The camera and mic were not working on my S20FE which was still under warranty. The samsung phone service sent me to the experience store. They kept my phone for 3 days and said they can not repair it under warranty because it has a bend in it and I have to pay for it! My phone was flat and in perfect condition physically, it had absolutely no bend. One of the girls working there laid the phone on the table and tipped my phone with her finger and said see it is not straight, I then told her, that of course it will wiggle because of the camera that sticks out on the back? !? !? !? !? ! They lied and refused to fix it.

They send phones to repair to the Mobile Klinik which is also in the southgate mall.
After dealing with Samsung Experience, I went to the Mobile Klinik and asked the employee who diagnosed my phone if he can explain to me how there is a bend in it. He then put my phone screen down on a table and twisted it. My phone kept turning, and he said that this is how you can tell that the phone is bent.

Next, I went to the place where I bought my phone, I told them the story. I asked them if I can see a S20FE and try to turn it, and it kept turning too. It has nothing to do with a bend!
Mobile Klinik and Samsung Experience are shamelessly lying to their customers!

The place where I bought my phone sent my phone to their repair center and they said that the motherboard needed to be changed. It took about 4 weeks, but they fixed my phone within warranty, and now my phone is working beautifully again. They did not say anything about a bend and they did not try to somehow get me to pay, they were honest and did the right thing.
(I bought my phone from the Virgin kiosk at Costco)

They do not repair phones here. Might as well take your phone to Mobile Klinik because that's where they are going to send your phone anyways. And even then samsung had no parts to repair your phone. Go to a different company because samsung doesn't care anymore

Tarpon was amazing! I had one question for him as it was about buying a new upgrade fone from my internet supplier. It was EXTREMELY expensive at that company. Tarpon immediatly answered my cost question without even having to look it up. He quickly mentioned their Boxing Week sale that helped me save a lot of money. Because of that I quickly said yes to his description of the Warranty plan. I NEVER buy Warranty Plans but this time I went for it. My experience with Taroon was some of the best service I've had since COVID-19 started. I'd give more stars if possible. - Andrew

Bought a Samsung dishwasher and it stopped working after 5 months. Definitely would not buy.

Spoke to a costumer support about my issue, got it to be escalated and was told to wait a 24hr to get a respond, I waited didn't get a call back.
So called them again today Jan 11 2022 at 230pm, got a hold of someone and they told me that they haven't received any information about my case of what is needed to be ordered.

So I called where I bought my dishwasher and they said that they have sent a request to samsung about the missing part. This was done on dec 22 2021.

At first my experience seemed great, then.dishonest.they hadn't heard back from Mobile Klink (who by the way are absolutely TERRIBLE), I had called head office and was told to bring my phone to this location. The Samsung service rep told me to let him take it to Mobile Klinik, or he would do it.most like the next morning. It is down the hall, so I did. I was told they would replace the board. A 3 hour job. So it was 1/2 hour before closing. I left it overnight. No call or email as was told I'd receive. So at 5: 30 pm, I went and my phone was ready. When asked what was done.they had factory reset it! Already done 3 times prior. Talked to the Samsung REP AGAIN AND HE SIAD HE WOULD ESCULATE IT. Dealt with heads office again.more that 30 emails, took it back in, replaced the board, had to take it in AGAIN. Took it to the Samsung rep. I made an APPOINTMENT with her for 6: 30 and she showed up at 6: 50 pm. She said she knew about the appointment but was on her break! REALLY!? So I was told by her that I would have to leave my phone and should hear back in 2 or 3 days. I called and was told, oh no now mobile klinik was talking with head office. And it's been 10 days already. Called head office and was told I could pick it up. It is -30C! So I have been calling for the last hour to verify this, because I take a bus, and don't want to go if it's not ready!

I was supposed to receive ear buds with the new phone I purchased, followed all the steps through telus and Samsung and was in wait for an email with a code, no code was sent and the promotion has now expired. Now they're saying that I passed the due date for the promotion and no longer qualify, I requested a gift card or something as a replacement and they refused. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER SAMSUNG PRODUCT AGAIN! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER COME ACROSS!

BUYER BEWARE: First of all, to be objective, I love my Samsung phone. However, I must state that after my awful experience with Samsung, I have lost faith in their ability to service customers. I had my screen replaced, and paid a considerable 400ish dollars to replace it. Within 24 hours of getting my phone back, I notice a crack on the left side, middle of my phone. Simply thinking, this was installed wrong, and/or the screen maybe faulty, I took the phone back to Samsung. I was provided a lecture by the individual who seemed to take 20 minutes on the phone to tell me that the issue was my problem. I ended up driving to the store, to talk to the manager. Initially, the manager seemed nice, however, after consulting with her colleagues, and probably conferring with the initial individual I spoke to named Kevin, stated that the issue was my fault, because I had dropped my phone (which I had not). I provided an answer stating that after 1.5 years of having no real issue or damage to my phone, in 24 hours I seem to have shattered my screen. Secondly, I had a phone cover that protected the area that covered the apparent initial area where the screen casing was compromised. Thirdly, the only place I ended up going was home, and to the pharmacy, where I spent the day giving Covid vaccinations (I don't work on a construction site, and I also find it ironic, that Samsung writes that they support front line workers like me with screen repair, etc.). Anyways, bottom line, I was treated like Swiss Cheese. In my discussions, I was professional, though upset; and I ended up stating that I will probably pursue my case in Small Claims courts, as I felt like I was being bullied with absolutely no consideration and that the phone issue was most likely the fault of Samsung. Although I had signed the release document of my phone, during the time that manager was swapping out the SIM card, she proceeded to take pictures of my phone, although, legally, in my possession, and without my permission or consent! (Once I had the phone in my hand, the phone is again in my possession, and any waivers are null and void). After this shocking experience I attempted to calls to Samsung, where I talked to 2 front line workers who seemed to care, where they ended up directing me to their "customer relations", who seemed to really think my issue was a waste of time, and provided me no further escalation or resolution. Bottom line: Samsung has really no support or process to consider reasonable cases.if you don't believe me, find an email on their site for customer complaints or escalations, or ombudsman.good luck! So here is my take away from my experience to be objective: I love the phone, however, quality and brand, is not the phone itself, it is the people, the process, and the culture. I had switched from Apple, because I needed a powerful phone to run my business, professional career, and my other positions on a platform that was seamless. However, there is no brand loyalty, there seems to be no appetite to consider the statistically reasonable fact that in 24 hours a screen cracking is likely the issue of phone casing or wordsmanship (I verified with 2 other cell phone shop technicians, that this was probably the case.). Lastly, there seemed to be total disregard to my rights of consent and privacy as a consumer, which I will be following up with a Privacy Commissioner, and at the end of the day, when you need to talk to management or be simply heard, you get bounced in the Samsung telephone queues, where it appears that no one cares. I'm quite sorry to say, that I am utterly disappointed with the human component of Samsung and their ability to have any empathy. If you want a nice phone, buy Samsung, just don't expect the service, the trust, and the respect. After buying 5 phones for me and my parents in the last 2 years, I think I'm switching teams based on me wanting to align with a company that wants my business. (BY THE WAY, IN 10 YEARS WITH APPLE, I was never, ever treated this way). Thanks for listening.

While the product is decent (the Note 20) the customer service at the store is abysmal. Talk to them over the phone and you'll get the standard "we'll look into this and call you back" type interaction. Expect that to be their "we'll never call you back" code.

Visited this location yesterday, November 29,2020. This my first time switching from apple to Samsung phone, i was excited to buy new accessories for my new Galaxy 20 ultra. The sales person told me that all accessories are on 50% off for Black friday promotion from regular price of the wall.
Picked one case that showed $34.99 regular price. As I was paying, he told me that im paying $38+, i asked him that i should have been lower than that coz he said that all accessories was on sale.
He said that the item i chose is aready marked which is not coz all price tag at the front are all on regular price. He said he can only give me 15% discount. Does the store manager even know about the “PRICE TAG ETIQUETTE”.
I left with embarrasment and disspointment.
Im having doubts for I should be coming back to this store.

The manager is my favourite and clearly works hard. These people deserve more credit for making this work during a pandemic! But i guess its a little hard with people yelling at them for policies.

I knew I wanted a smart watch and couldn't figure out which one to get. Kevin helped me figure out which watch would fit my needs, price range and style all at the same time and he did all of this over the phone so I didn't have to go into the store, he was even able to accept payment without me coming in! He answered all of my questions before my purchase and still helped me after I had the watch. I 100% recommend the Samsung store in West Ed because of my experience with Kevin, knowledgeable and friendly!

They took my phone for a repair. They gave me a loaner phone and transferred my data to it. When I returned the loaner phone, they asked if I needed any of the data off of it. I said no. They erased all the data. Then they said, Here's your old phone. By the way, all of the data has been erased off of it. So there goes 4 years of my life down the drain. They could have said that they had to wipe all the data off of my phone, and then I could have backed it up from the loaner phone. Poor communication lead to a terrible experience for me. They also broke the screen protector on it and offered me nothing. Very disappointed.

Very bad. Customer service personnel was worried about battery usage for led notifications reminders then rectifying the feature of the phone. I strongly suggest that one should not purchase samsung 20 5g, as the edge lightning does not work for reminders. Samsung misleading users.

My review is of Samsung Canada. Buyer beware. I've been a loyal Samsung user for many many years. Lately, when the operating system is updated any ceiling a user has locked on their data gets erased. This is the second time I have accepted an update an then been dinged that following bill on data overage fees. I called into inform their customer care department and had a pipe dream of compensation, but more so just wanted a change to happen so Android updates no longer cause unnecessary bills. After retelling my story 4 times I got a lead manager who made it quite clear that I was wasting his time and that his underlings should have told me there was nothing they could do about this since it had nothing to do with warranty. They have a great product, but a poorly run company, and maybe they are in cahoots with the service providers to get overage fees now. Anyway, they lost my loyalty.

I started off with Apple and moved to Samsung when my phone was stolen.
I've owned Samsung products ever since. I absolutely love Samsung. I would never use any other device than Samsung.

Whether it's my phone, tablet, TV or stereo/digital equipment, I love them all.

I never knew until recently, there was a Samsung Store in Edmonton.

My father and I went to the store yesterday to get new phones set up and data transferred on my tablet.

Alyssa and Sinna assisted us. They were both absolutely wonderful, patient, knowledgeable and offered excellent customer service. They went above and beyond to help us.

The store Manager John was wonderful, as well.

We would highly recommend the Samsung Store for products, expertise and assistance.

Do not go with Samsung they are the worst company I have ever dealt with. My A70 was messing up due to their software. It was an on going issue. I had them fix it three times already for the same issue. I ask for an extension of warranty just for that problem and only problem. They told me no once the warranty is up its your problem. If it's an on going issue the customer should be taken care of due to the company fault of programming. Do not give your business to Samsung.
