Stayed here 4 nights for an event at Roger’s place. The location is great for that - connected with an above ground walkway right to Roger’s place - connected to the Edmonton Center Mall and other amenities. Service was good. The room was ok - it was clean but if feels like could use an update -Tv cabinet was a bit beat up, the mini fridge was missing a leg - so I had to prop a face cloth under it then it was good (it was turned off when I checked in) do I had to wait for it to get cold. The room was hot in the evening (16th floor) the AC could not keep up. Parkade was full when we got there so had to park a block away at Bell tower parkade (actually cheaper) but it is connected by a walkway. Drop off can be challenging if a lot of people are checking in as the drop off fits approx 3 to 4 cars. All that said I would book again as it’s convenient for Roger’s place.
An awesome hotel. Service was second to none. The room was clean and very comfortable. Would not hesitate to recommend. Thank you Sandman Signature Downtown Edmonton.
Previously known as Sutton Place, the Sandman Suites is priced very competitively. When all Marriott properties were $250+, this property provided good respite.
The rooms are clean and service is great. Water bottles, room service and normal pillows are available on demand. The hotel provided pillows are rough on the neck and very uncomfortable. My bed squeaked as you turned around on your back to the side.
The view of Edmonton downtown was great. Given that I am staying there next week, the front desk has assured me that they will take care of both issues.
It is my pleasure to comment on my wonderful experience at this hotel. My apartment building had a fire and we all had to be out permanently. As a result I stayed at the hotel for 1 1/2 months. To make the situation more challenging I'm also disabled with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. The hotel was a fabulous place to live during this difficult time.
I found everyone who worked there to be top notch and they were always a pleasure to interact with. The hotel and my rooms were highly attractive.
I found it to be most convenient to have a mall right across the street. Being downtown there are all kinds of amenities close by. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.
Overall, it was a great stay at the Sandman. The room was clean, and a super comfortable bed. It is located in a great spot downtown near Roger's arena and within walking distance to most shops. The chop restaurant in the lobby is great as well!
During my recent visit to Edmonton, I had the pleasure of staying in the Grand Suite at Sandman Signature. From the moment I stepped into the suite, I was captivated by its elegance and luxurious ambiance. I must say, my experience at this hotel surpassed all expectations.
The Grand Suite at Sandman Signature was a true haven of comfort and style. The spacious living area, tastefully decorated with modern furnishings, instantly made me feel at home. The suite boasted a separate bedroom with a plush king-size bed that ensured a restful night's sleep. The attention to detail in the design and layout of the suite was truly remarkable.
The amenities provided in the suite were outstanding. The fully equipped kitchenette allowed me to prepare snacks and light meals at my convenience. The in-room entertainment system, complete with a large flat-screen TV and a selection of channels, provided ample entertainment options. The complimentary Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, making it easy for me to stay connected during my stay.
The bathroom in the Grand Suite was a luxurious retreat in itself. The marble fixtures, the spacious bathtub, and the rainfall shower offered a touch of indulgence. The hotel provided high-quality toiletries and fluffy towels, adding to the overall pampering experience.
The service at Sandman Signature was impeccable. The staff members were friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was flawless. From the efficient check-in process to the prompt room service, their attention to detail was commendable. The hotel staff were always available to assist with any inquiries or requests I had, making me feel valued as a guest.
One of the standout features of Sandman Signature was the on-site dining options. The hotel's restaurant served delicious meals throughout the day, and I thoroughly enjoyed the culinary delights offered. The breakfast buffet was a particular highlight, with a wide selection of fresh and flavorful dishes to choose from.
The hotel's location in Edmonton was convenient for exploring the city. It was close to major attractions and shopping districts, making it easy to venture out and discover the vibrant city life. The hotel also offered convenient parking facilities, which was a great convenience for guests with vehicles.
In conclusion, my stay at Sandman Signature Grand Suite in Edmonton was truly exceptional. The luxurious suite, excellent amenities, top-notch service, and convenient location made it a remarkable experience. I would highly recommend Sandman Signature to anyone seeking a lavish and comfortable retreat in Edmonton. I cannot wait to return to this exquisite hotel for my next visit to the city.
Beds were super comfy but no ac which was awful. Conference area is a bit out of date. Also getting to the front of the building to park to check in is a challenge.
I came to the hotel to have dinner at CHOP with my husband for his birthday. The restaurant is split up into two floors, with the lounge being on the main floor and the quieter dining room area being upstairs. We were told by hotel staff that we weren't allowed to take the elevator, so we had to walk up their three staircases and then down a long hallway just to get to our table. On our way back, the hallway door we had walked through was suddenly locked, and we had to call for help to be let out. If you're going to have a restaurant area upstairs, provide elevator service. I have a disability and going up the stairs was really hard. Dinner was amazing though. Just disappointed with how difficult it was to get there.
I have stayed here a few times. My first time my 5 year old daughter gets a chance to go to the pool. Her and my Neice got racist remarks! Wow! This is so uncalled for.rarely to a 5year old child. She looks Caucasian to. Should matter we are guests we pay for our Stay, like anyone else!
Rooms are old. Cut my hand on the cupboard that has the fridge inside. Curtains were dirty and mold around the windowsill. Hot tub not working. Really not worth the money!
I had to change 4 rooms cause I was trying to find a clean room with heat, but it was impossible. No such thing! I was forced to get one that was clean cause otherwise, at 11: 00 pm, they wanted to reimburse me for the room. No worries, they brought me a portable heater. Which wasn't WORKING! Never again I would stay there!
Decent hotel, but felt unsafe going out for a smoke at night. Security doesn't seem to care about the safety of the guest, no key pad to get back in, had to wait for Security to come open the door
Stayed for the 2021/2022 ccaa badminton championships. Excellent location in the heart of the city with easy access to food and entertainment. Well furnished and chic.
