Sandman Signature Lethbridge Lodge

My only negative would be that the refrigerator in the room was very noisy while trying to sleep. I was very pleased with everything overall though and I needed the ironing board, safe, shoe polish sponge, etc. These were amenities that I was glad to have present and functioning. The Atrium and breakfast cafe create a very nice atmosphere. We were in the Anton conference room for three days and the food was good and the facilities comfortable. I’d recommend!

They have done some renovations since the last time I was there. It’s a nice place still needs some work.

We were at the Sandman Signature Lethbridge Lodge for a Christmas party. The food was great and service staff were friendly.

A big shout out to Laura and Randy for going above and beyond to accommodate us after we experienced a nightmare at a another hotel in town. There were no other available hotels and this one worked hard to get us a room. They upgraded us to a jacuzzi room. The beds were so comfy, the room was so clean. We will for sure be staying there again.

Just wanted to post a little something about our recent stay here. We just checked out a little while ago and we’re extremely surprised and happy that we had been given a very late check out at no charge. Our flight back home had been cancelled at the last moment and our new flight was substantially later than the posted check out time for the Sandman. We were fully expecting to pay for that extra time but Mary waived that charge for us. I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years and I have never experienced such customer service. I’m not a big review person so the extra effort in writing this clearly shows that her generosity needed to be recognized.

On a related note, the young lady at the check in/out desk (Kirsten i believe her name was - sorry if I’m wrong) was extremely friendly and helpful with the check out process - including advising us of our good fortune with our bill. Thank you for your efforts on our behalf.

Finally, something kind of unrelated to the above noted customer service that prompted this review - our room was spacious, very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Top marks in that department as well.

We would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel highly to others.

All was great EXCEPT the bathroom door. Having a sliding door that doesn't lock and leaves an open gap, provides absolutely zero privacy.

Very clean friendly staff and helpful, to bad about the business centre one person did not log off previously.

We held our wedding here recently, and all our guests were very impressed. Highly recommend.

We were there for the Crown Jewels Convention and the food in the banquet room was horrible. On Saturday night for our Gala evening the potatoes were not baked and could not even penetrate them with a knife and they served them that way and the carrots and squash were not fully cooked and the brocoli was over cooked. Horrible food experience.

Not impressed with the breakfast menu. I am old school, like my bacon & eggs, toast or pancakes.

Even though we checked with the desk each morning for cleaning services and were told it would be done we went 2 days with dirty towels and no cleaning service. Had to track down cleaning staff and trade in towels to get clean ones. We were not impressed. You are off our list for future stays.

One of the better hotels I've stayed in. Had my dog with me and where they put me (room) was perfect. I will be returning in the next 3 weeks and this will be where I will definitely be staying

We are very disappointed with our stay. We did not sleep all night because the air was so hot in the room and the thermostat did not make it cooler at all. We complained at front desk and was told and manager would call us. Nobody called. Absolutely terrible.

Hotel staff were most accommodating when we requested a room change to be closer to the elevator. This was handled efficiently and very politely. We felt valued as a customer.

Went to the cottion blossom lounge with a few friends to unwind from the week. The staff was really nice, service was fast and the atmosphere was wonderful

Hotel room was nice and clean, staff wasn't very welcoming at all. When i asked them to explain the initial charges for the room i was given attitude by the employee. The drinks in the lounge were great, food not so much. My meatballs were over cooked and my wife added chicken to her ceaser salad and then it came out and it was boiled rubbery chicken. Server seemed like she was rushing us out the door as everytime she came up she asked if we wanted the bill.this happened several times so it was super annoying. Manager seemed grumpy and on several occasions I witnessed them treating staff not very nice waving their hands around upset in front of everyone etc. One big downer for me was no breakfast, you would think for the price they charge they would at least offer a coffee and a muffin in the morning but nope nothing.but you could buy breakfast for a charge.not impressed at all

Rooms were nice and clean, but if you wish to sleep past 8 AM find somewhere else, despite the fact the pool says opens at 9, parents with very small, loud children seem to enjoy going at 8 AM, and no staff told them not too, and their breakfast restaurant closes at 10: 00

This hotel has been a mainstay in Lethbridge for decades. Sandman has done a nice job with their new makeover. The restaurant with newer menu is a huge improvement

We stayed 7 nights and are leaving today. The staff was excellent. We had a lot issues with our key cards. The beds were amazing as were the pillows. The reason for the lower rating is because they don't clean your room unless you request it the day before. That means that chanses are you will forget the deadline. In the 7 days we requested 2 cleans and got 1. It should have been done at least every 2nd day without asking.

First time here, when the gentleman explained how to get to the room, he talk so fast it took us 15 minutes to find it, not very helpful. Shower door was off the roller, pop machine took are money but did not give us juice, garbage in room from previous people in room.

An employee opened up our door at midnight with no reason. And quickly left. Hotel staff did nothing when we complained.

Massive improvement from previous management. Nice shower, bad in room coffee. Love the atrium… still.

We stayed at the Sandman Signature Lethbridge from March 24 - March 27 for a hockey tournament. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our group (and quickly replied to my many emails before check in), ensuring we were all close to one another and close to the banquet space we rented.
The kids all had a great time in the pool and we enjoyed our sleep in the comfy beds.

My stay at the Sandman Hotel was very enjoyable. I would give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars. I was here for 10 days for work purposes. The staff was amazing. Anna, Jenna, Charlie, Rob and Rodney were all very friendly and so helpful in accommodating my needs and making my stay enjoyable. Anna went out of her way to make a bad day better. I really appreciated her thoughtfulness and kindness. I will definitely be staying here the next time I'm in Lethbridge. Also the location was great. The only reason I didn't give a five-star rating is because the internet was not very good and also I found it to be quite noisy when the pool/beach atrium was busy.but of course, this is to be expected. The atrium is gorgeous and makes you feel like you are not in Alberta anymore but away on vacation. All in all, this hotel is top rate. You won't be disappointed.

The hotel was super clean, great rooms, amazing staff! Great location and the on site restaurant The Italian Table was delicious. Highly recommend to stay at this hotel!

Was in town for golf and decided to stay here. Rooms are big and clean. Hot tub was great. Charlie at the front desk was super friendly and helpful.

The room was fantastic. All the employees (Sam, Kelly, and Carrie) were great and friendly! The breakfast was really good. Would definitely come back!

Great customer service and nice location. It wasn't as clean as previous visits and the bed was mediocre.

Awesome hotel, this hotel is our favourite, very clean room, friendly staff, the pool is the best with real plants, tropical inspired. We stay here feb6 for my Husband birthday, and my husband received a cake they put in the fridge, what an awesome surprise. I love this hotel Sandman Signature Lethbridge Lodge from check in frontdesk Rob was so friendly. I was amazed also to the GM Ray HAm very nice and accommodating, we surely stay again and this hotel still our favourite, you wont regret about staying here.thank you Sandman team for making our stay very special

I have NO negative feedback to share. Our stay was very nice - room was good, and the bed was great. Customer service at 'Check-in' was very good, as it was at 'Check-out'. Management & staff were very accommodating. The highlight was at breakfast in the courtyard the next morning. In the past - I use to come to Lethbridge on business, and I always stayed at the Lethbridge Lodge (now the Sandman Lethbridge Lodge). At breakfast that morning - I had the joy of seeing for the first time in a few years: Irene - our server. My wife and I had the pleasure of experiencing her great service, and wonderful demeanor. Irene is definitely an ambassador of the Sandman Lethbridge Lodge. We'll be back.

We had a queen suite on the top floor. This building has an atrium with the pool and hot tub inside, along with the gym. There are suites overlooking the atrium with no outside views, rooms with outside views only and rooms with both. Restaurant on site as well as breakfast a la Carte in the atrium. Nice fixtures throughout, very good finishes and carpets everywhere, the building is in very good repair. Clean rooms, ample furnishings, pet-friendly, wheelchair friendly, downtown and easy to find. Very friendly staff, efficient service. Only complaints are that you can smell the pool chemicals pretty much everywhere, the HVAC and plumbing can be a bit noisy.

Customer service at the front desk was wonderful, they made sure we were well taken care of. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, had a proper night's sleep. The food from Prime Catering / Italian Table was delicious as well we took part in my husband's company Christmas party at the hotel, the catering staff was fantastic and the food was soooo good. The cost for the weekend stay was on par with what we got from this hotel. If you are looking for a hotel to enjoy your stay while visiting Lethbridge or just getting away for a night. This is a place to look into. Thank you to the staff at the hotel and the restaurant for making our stay wonderful.

Rooms were clean, beds were very comfy but we had a room facing the courtyard and it was constantly stuffy and humid compared to rooms on the outer perimeter. We also had a room where the toilet leaked and was running off and on all night.

One of my favorite stays. Love the jungle vibe in atrium. Great service. Would def go here again!

The pool was fun, the staff were lovely, our only complaint was the sheets were a bit scratchy.

Went out for GREAT dinner with my family for the 1st time in 3-1/2 months. We were celebrating our Sister in law's Birthday.

Good location. Super comfortable bed and the view of the coulee was amazing. Bathrooms are a little unorthodox.

Perfect to stop by and recuperate. Work holed me up in a double room and enjoyed my stay.

The only reason can't give it full is just to some small bits. The bathroom doesn't have an active fan so after a shower it stays humid. The walls are somewhat thin. My door never fully closed (due to the temperature difference) and forgot it once, got lucky no one poked inside.

Once again I did enjoy my stay and would come back, but not perfect.

Very nice rooms and at a reasonable price. The indoor pool with real plants was a very nice touch. The floors could of been vacuumed again, but overall very clean.

What a wonderful getaway! From the manager and front end staff to the restaurant, atrium, pool and even the room, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay. I stayed with my family in the 70's I think an we brought our kids and my mom back for another stay. Kids loved it like we did as kids! Service was exceptional and my little dogs were welcomed!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this location! Every single staff member we interacted with was amazing. Excellent customer service! The atmosphere was very relaxing and inviting. The hotel was very clean and fresh! I would stay again in a heartbeat!

First visit here since they became Sandman. They were quite accommodating and friendly and I really enjoyed our stay. During the stay though I did have two complaints - the elevator on our side if the building was out which is very inconvenient. Also we stayed here during the heat wave and the air conditioning, if you can call it that, was not really adequate. Which is a shame as that's one if the main reasons we came. Still, I loved my time there. The pool and the garden are as incredible as ever. And the staff are professional and accommodating. Great place all in all.

When it is snowing outside and you are not allowed to leave your province-this hotel is exactly what you need to recharge until the real spring is here in Alberta. Clean, quiet, friendly and with almost Arizona-like views from your balcony!

I had the pleasure to stay at the Sandman Signature Lethbridge Lodge for the past 4 nights. It's a cozy hotel with an indoor pool and hot tub. Just perfect for those nights you want to relax. They have beautiful palm trees and tropical foilages all around the main pool area.

My room was spacious with a living area including dinner table and work desk as well as a kitchenette. The sofa was comfortable. Inside the bedroom was a nice sized jacuzzi tub and king size bed. In the washroom was a his and her sink and dual faucet shower for those who like the feel of rain like showers.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in and check out was simple and quick. Jay the general manager was there to assist me in my check out. It's very nice to see the general manager out speaking with the clientele. It says alot of their customer service. I cannot wait to be back again. Only thing I didn't get to try was the Italian restaurant in the hotel. Next time.

The suite was beautiful and clean. Rob at the front desk was so great to deal with and very friendly. At check out Carrie was very friendly and made it quick and easy. Definitely recommend!

Stayed there during the first day of lockdown. Unfortunately I was hoping to explore Lethbridge but due to that was stuck in the hotel.

My room had the view of the gorgeous pool area (I just wished it was open), fast food chain such as A&W and McDonald’s are close by. If fine dining and finer food is your taste they have an Italian restaurant (if I remember correctly) on site avail for pickup. Parking was easy the location is close to many many shopping centre and would recommend this place for anyone travelling to escape the city life!

Also staff 10/10, bed is very comfy has a personal light for reading, furniture seems to be updated, TV can easily be connected to a firestick. Easy check in and checkout.

Charming and clean, a must-stay spot when you're visiting Lethbridge. The atrium is beautiful and feels especially lovely in the winter.

Very pleasant staff, clean, comfy beds. The enclosed central courtyard feels like a tropical oasis when it is miserable outside. For when the weather isn't miserable there are nature paths right behind the hotel. Good value for $$. The The Italian restaurant on site is amazing!

I always enjoy the gardens, this year they are more beautifully maintained and they have new planters in the lobby. I enjoy the botanica restorant and the service as well the food is great. This is my choice restorant to take Mom to.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. My kids had a great time in the pool. My only complaint was the breakfast could use more selection.

Beautiful hotel. The renovations are lovely, and it feels fancy without the high price tag. Little touches in the rooms that just add so much to your stay. The beds are fantastic. I slept like a baby. Staff is great! Sad to see the piano has disappeared, but the courtyard is otherwise still lovely and well maintained. I love getting a 2nd or 3rd floor room overlooking it. The breakfast is great, covers all the bases. We've stayed a couple times in 2 weeks and the breakfast gal, Irene? , is amazing.

Was here for a producer meeting in one of.the banquet rooms. Seating was comfortable and audio visual system worked well. Lighting is good and there were good lines of sight from all parts of.the room. Lunch was excellent.

Rooms are clean and quiet. The complimentary breakfast is pretty good. The staff have all been very friendly.

Essie's Ballroom was alright although it wasn't necessary the nicest or classiest place in town at all.

Nice renovation on the rooms since this was the Lethbridge Lodge. Beautiful solarium type area in the middle of the rooms near the pool. Unfortunately I believe the lounge that was in this area is now closed. The Italian Table restaurant on-site has an excellent reputation. Banquet/conference rooms available for special events.

Event facility was great, food was fantastic. Event with 500+ people and didn't feel crowded. Great multimedia equipment set up as well.

Our novice girls hockey team came down for the weekend and were treated like royalty. They were in awe in the forested pool area and had so much fun in the pool. Thanks for a great weekend.

Sandman had some great food by Prime Catering for the Hurricanes Celebrity Dinner. Very professional staff and the inside of this place is gorgeous!
