Was not impressed with our purchase. They have a no refund policy, aswell lots of products in the store are either out of date or tattered boxes which you will be expected to pay full price for.

Went there 2 times for a passport photo each time the old man refused to help, wasted my time going there and never back

Was just in the store. Staff ignored me even though I was staring at some products in a case for 5 minutes. I left. I was wanting to purchase a basic digital camera for my grandson but I’ll go somewhere else.

Update: there's now a friendly older gentleman here who actually helped me out. I've gone here multiple times with no help, but today, someone actually offered to assist. Bumping my one star up to a two & hopefully this is the reception arch for this store.

I've gone multiple times since my original review and this is the first time I've actually gotten service.

August 19th (today) I'm pricing out a Nikon Z5, at around noon.

I walked into the store (one other customer in there) and took a look at the glass cabinet. I spotted the Z5 at $2200 (ish) roughly $200 more then the camera store in downtown Calgary.

Maybe it's so they can offer discounts? Not sure. But I just stood there. & Waited. No one helped. One gentlemen has just finished assisting a different customer, but the other was just clicking sound on the computer. Not a customer friendly store & now I guess I'm going downtown.

Extremly rude & unfriendly service.
Was there to buy a lens for my canon today, but the guy was extremly rude and unhelpful.
The other guy (who was not jn today) was better, but one bad apple spoils the entire lot right.
Would never go back to this place, or recommend anyone. Not just me but my parents found the place ‘bad service’

Poor customer service. Looking for expertise in choosing the right camera and got a judgmental attitude in return.

The store itself is actually quite nice but they had sold me expired polaroid film and when I went in to tell them about it i was told it was my fault, that my camera failed, and that there's no possible way for a refund all within a few seconds.even though I have a brand new polaroid, and the fact that I had photos proving that the pictures came out brown, dark, and spotted.refused any sort of interaction

Would give this place 0 stars out of 5 if I could. The owner has absolutely no respect for his customers, and does not care to maintain a good relationship with potential customers, and when I asked if he would rather me recommend my friends to come here or leave a terrible review wherever I could, he chose the latter. When a business makes a mistake with their customers, its THEIR responsibility to fix it, which did not happen for us. I will NEVER come here again. If you're looking to make an investment in a camera or lens go to The Camera Store (downtown) instead! They are tremendously better, and much more helpful! As soon as we said "we just came from Saneal Cameras" they responded "say no more, we understand your pain. " Save yourself the grief and time! DO NOT GO HERE!
