Very happy with the service my boyfriend and I received. The guy that did my nails did exactly what I asked and knew what he was doing. The girl that did my boyfriends nails did an amazing job too. Fair prices and was fast and easy to book. I will definitely return.

This was my second time to get gel polish. Prices are fair, the place is clean and neat. My nail tech lady was delicate with me. I really love the work she did. I will definitely come back!

Went to another stylist, and was told they use an unregulated type of acrylic, which can cause a lot of damage if you aren’t careful. Really lovely people but it’s not very clean, especially since they reuse nail files, and the tools don’t seem very sanitized

I’ve been going here for just under 2 years now and I can’t express my gratitude for this place enough, I have super damaged nails and each and everytime they are able to work wonders on me. It’s pricey depending on what you get but with how many other nail shops I’ve been to that charge less, you really understand your paying for quality not quantity. They last for a month or more and can do any style you want. Really recommend this place! And they recognize repeat costumers and I appreciate that. The male nail tech is my fav and works fast but efficient

My sister went here to get a simple set of acrylic 65$ and 5$ design as there sign says. Tell me why it was $100? And they used the same nail file from another client for my sister! Un clean! The nails aren’t even glued down right the fronts are lifting and there’s bubbles! Unprofessional and unclean! Someone call the health inspector!

The lady manager of this place is rude, will gas light you and will yell at you so if youd like to be treated like trash and come out with subpar sloppy nails, then this is your place. I came in here today, a young trainee started working on my nails. She cut and filed off a piece of my skin, the nails/glue that she was applying were already starting to come off on the sides and the nail extensions she was adding were too big. I was later moved to the lady managers chair. I asked if that’s going to be fixed and corrected. She GLARED and me and SHOUTED “is this your first time to get nails done? ” And when I said “no, actually. I always get my nails done here. ” She shouted “well then you should be comfortable with us” she kept on berating me the whole appointment,
Don’t do this, don’t do your fingers like that. I kept quiet the whole appointment but was visibly upset and wanted to leave. Later on she calmed down and said that “she can breathe now”. Sorry but whatever anger issues you have don’t take it out on paying customers. We deserve better. That’s the last time I’ll go back there, there are so much more nail salons in edmonton with better customer service.

The staff was very nice and did a great job! Listend to my requests and payed attention to details. Also they were perfectly on time.

Love this place! They are true professionals. I’ve never gone in with a design in mind, or a photo that they couldn’t do, and I’m always blown away at the amazing designs they can create. They have the widest variety of colours, deckles, sparkles, And designs that I’ve ever seen at any salon in the city, and their nails last longer than any other set’s I’ve ever received. I travel across the city just to have my nails done at sapphire. I will forever recommend them, because they are the best nail salon in the city!

They did a good job on my nails and the best part was that it only took 40 minutes! For a full set! My only complaint was that the nail tech wasn’t very friendly and I felt so rushed that I didn’t choose the colours I really wanted. They still turned out cute though!

Always so nice and do an amazing job on nails with great service and designs to offer. They always give me what I want!

Just because I did not ask for someone specific does not mean that I get someone who does not even knows how to file nails or apply nail polish. I was really disappointed! And when I politely asked them to re-apply the nail polish, which looked like it was applied by a child, they asked me to pay extra 15 dollars! I removed the nail polish myself and left, and they had the audacity to ask for a tip when their customer was clearly very unhappy! They don't care how happy their customers are or the quality of their work as long as they get paid!

This is the best place I've been to. Very welcoming and friendly. All girls are nice n fun. I will come back soon.

This is my favourite nail place in the city! All the girls are so kind and Mia is an amazing nail artist. Every design I bring in to her she always exceeds my expectations. Not only do I leave with a great set every time but the service and conversations during my appointments are stellar. No matter who you get, you won't be disappointed!

The staff at sapphire nails are amazing! Sunny and Anna are especially talented, kind, professional, and extremely hard working. They paint all designs by hand and can literally do any design you show them. Both Anna and Sunny have a crazy memory and even with months in between appointments, they can remember details about how you like your nails and will even ask about things you chatted about months before. I can not recommend Sapphire Nails enough. Their talent, thoughtfulness, and professionalism is so far above any other salon I’ve ever been too.

Pretty cool experience with manicure and pedicure along with massaging chairs. I parked at a wrong spot and helped me prevent my car getting towed! Thank you for doing that!

Anna is a phenomenal nail artist, I drive across the city every few weeks to get my nails done by her. Prices are incredibly reasonable too.

Went here because of the great reviews, however, was quite dissatisfied with the attitudes of one of the female staffs here. My friend and I made suggestions on what we wanted for the shape and the French tip, and were told "that's just because your nail shape is like that, " but it was clear that they had sand the sides down too narrowly. And later we were told "next time go somewhere else, because we are not skilled enough for you. So just don't come back ok? "

If you're looking to get your nails done based on how these staff think they should be done, then this is the perfect place for you. Otherwise, it's probably best to go to a different place with actual skilled and professional workers who are willing to cooperate with their customers.

Great job, my first time in years. Needed nails for my costume, plus had to be able to do my trades jobs safely the following week as well. Despite the challenge, the ladies did a great job, found the happy medium between long and functional and nailed the vamp devilish vibe I wanted. ️

I visited Sapphire Nails for the first time yesterday and was very pleasantly surprised: I got a shellac pedicure that was priced affordably, and my tech (Tony!) was amazing. He was kind and affable, but also happy to work in silence so I could relax. He was meticulous in his work and took great care to do a good job. Overall, I felt very comfortable, well taken care of and this salon stood out to me because of its staff. I definitely recommend it!

I wish I can give them a zero. Very unprofessional people and racist. If you are looking to get a good nail and pedicure do not go here!

First time I got the best mani/pedi.

Second time just a manicure, unfortunately there was no hand massage and the water to soak my hands was cold. I also have thin nails and worried about the dremel being on high to remove my polish. There was some discomfort but it didn't last. Nails turned out good, long lasting, and durable. Pedicure is still going strong. Ill for sure go again and update my review accordingly,

Third time was the last time, I had a cracked nail and wanted my nails cut. Instead she super glued the nail together. It was chipping by the second day, then I had to cut my own nails as the crack was snagging on everything. Waste of money, will not return.

I love every set i’ve gotten so far, the ladies are so sweet and know how to make conversation rather than just having you sit there in awkward silence, 10/10 recommend! ️

I had a terrible experience at this salon. The girl with a blond hair was so rude and unprofessional at all. She asked me to leave because she didn’t want to do my nail! Their prices sooooo expensive compared to other salons. I went there because it was on my way and I was in a hurry for a meeting. She wasted my time She even pretended to call 911! She made a scenario out from no where all because of what I said “it is expensive in here” and that is true.
I have no idea what is wrong with this girl.

Such a fantastic experience! She was attentive and made sure I liked what I was seeing during the process. The manicure was very detailed and she finished it off with a hot towel, cuticle oil and a massage with lotion. The price was surprisingly good as I usually get charged extra for this kind of service. My nails look amazing and I will definitely be coming back:)

Unfortunately had a terrible experience at Sapphire today. The staff was rude and the quality of my Shellac manicure is horrible. The polish application involved so many layers of gel that my nails look very thick and from the side, are uneven. When I said I did not want a THIRD layer of clear gel on top because my nails were already very thick and bubbly looking, Sunny went on a tirade about how if my nails chip i will have to pay and it is my choice to refuse a third layer, etc. I did not find the staff professional or the manicure well done.

Have been going here for about a year, but last night was the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. My nails have been brittle lately, probably due to diet, so asked if we could go light on the buffing to prep for gel. I got screamed at, they said I was accusing them of not being able to do their job, which I was not at all trying to do. I apologized profusely, but continued to get comments and glares from the manager. I ended up crying because it was so overwhelming, to which the manager went to the back room and slammed the door. Also I left with nails that are flat, uneven, and have air bubbles in them. The worst nails I've had in the year since I've been seeing them. I hate to think it was done on purpose.

Recommend! I have been going here for about a year and a half now and I don't think I will go anywhere else as long as I am in Edmonton! I personally see Sunnie but all the staff are lovely and welcoming! Sunnie's attention to detail is amazing and she always makes sure you are happy with every aspect of your nails. Not only does she greet me with a hug and remember what we talked about last appointment but she also remembers my color and shape preferences and never fails to impress me! She is also very knowledgeable and can answer any question about the process. She makes sure my nails last and are exactly how I like them! I look forward to getting my nails done every time!

I have been getting my gel nails done here for about a year. I usually get served straight away and they are always playing a cheesy romantic comedy film which I enjoy. You can get your gel nails removed and new ones for $30 and they usually last WEEKS without a single chip. They have survived my rock climbing, washing dishes, and opening my bracelet clasp every day. Wish they had a written list of prices somewhere online, though if you call ahead they’ll usually tell you prices. Mostly I choose a cute design I find online and they are good at recreating it. If I have trouble choosing a good colour to match they always help me!

I have been going to this location for some time now and I have to say they have amazing customer service, attentive to detail and will go above and beyond for their customers. Sunny has a very light touch and is a perfectionist.
Anna came in even on her day off to do my sister's nails. Exceptional work!

These ladies are all around amazing. I was in a pinch 2.5 years ago and desperately needed a new set, Anna and Sunny took me in and now I won’t allow anyone else to touch my nails. They work extremely hard to make sure they have new designs and the supplies to provide their clients with the best service possible and regulars are treated like long time friends. Literally just came from my appointment after a horrible day at work and came out feeling like $1Million. Love these ladies and I can’t recommend them enough ️

I LOVE getting my nails done at Sapphire! Anna and Sunny are professional, friendly, and talented. They go above and beyond to make sure the nails are done exactly as you asked for and are helpful with choosing colours and designs that match your personal style. I constantly receive compliments on my nails. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

I use to really enjoy this place but recently I went with a friend and because she had brittle nails she wanted them to be careful when buffing. She was polite while explaining to the lady that she was worried about her nails. The lady reacted by yelling at her saying “you don’t think I know how to do my job? ” Made my friend cry and then slammed the door to the backroom. Idk what kind of day she had that she felt the need to react like that but that’s not how you treat a customer. My friend made no suggestion she couldn’t do her job, she was just stressing her concern and she should’ve been able to answer that concern without exploding like that.

After that though they gave her a bad nail job like I have never seen them do before, really not okay.

Best nails you will ever get. Hard working and professional salon. Anna is so talented and can give you the best and most personalized nails. You will not find a better nail salon. Clean, classy, and relaxing atmosphere with friendly and welcoming staff.

All my favorite staffs were leave: (im so upset. Sapphire nail wasn’t great like before. They had new trainee and don’t have enough staff. I miss all the nail technician before (Asley, Lina, Lin.) they always did a great job with a big smile. I will try somewhere else

Decided to treat myself to simple manicure and pedicure last week.they take walk-ins, but I was not very impressed by the technique of the manicure and pedicure;They didn’t really remove the overgrown cuticle, they didn’t smooth and buff the nail surface very well, and didn’t remove the dead skin on the heels of my feet, so I was still left with rough soles.
They have a large selection of nail polish colours, but their application technique isn’t very neat and ended up bubbling.
And to top it all off, while I was there, there was another client getting a pedicure done and she complained that the lady had poked her quite badly, and when the manager came she was very rude to the client and exclaimed very many times that even though she’s the customer she’s not always right, and dismissed her pain and complaint. And even after the customer left quite angry, the manager continued to bash and speak badly of the customer to the rest of the people in the shop.
Don’t think I’ll go back there again.

Im sure we all can agree that it’s really tough to find a good nail salon. When I found Anna, luckily my search came to a halt have never had to go anywhere else! Located right on Whyte, it’s easily accessible to everyone, and they have a wheel hair ramp!

All the staff at Sapphire Nails are incredibly knowledgeable and take care and precision with each client. Manicure, pedicures (in massage chairs), shellac, acrylic, gel nails, INCREDIBLE hand painted design, tips, French manicures, and waxing are all services they provide.

Ask for what you want, and you will get it! Anna and Sunny (and the other great staff) are so talented, kind and are there almost every single day to make sure your beauty needs are kept a priority. Every time I look down at my nails throughout the day, I feel beautiful, as silly as that sounds. You will not regret a single visit. Sometimes it’s my nails alone that get me through the week.
