Really disappointed with this store. Old/bruised produce on the shelves (celery, apples). Sold out of a bunch of products we needed for a recipe (i.e, herbs). Rotting meat being sold (sooo much beef on the shelves that were GREEN). We ended up leaving without buying anything because what we needed was either rotten, not available, or costed $3-4 more than Superstore.: (

In my opinion, this might be the best run SaveOn in Edmonton. A manageable size, well stocked, a decent organic section and a lovely staff. Always feels warm and welcoming. Even the security people are friendly.

Extremely rude female employee wearing a hoody threw the bathroom key on the counter when my wife politely asked for them. This happened March 28,2023 at 12: 30 pm.

Great price and plenty of parking. Also the selection is good and wide isles so that two carts can actually pass by each other. I wonder why other stores haven't done the same.

Good grocery store with a decent selection. Plenty of fresh goods in the Bakery every day. The deli and seafood counters have been quite helpful in the past.

It is a nice place to shop and spend some time. It is neatly organized and the products are cheap too. The staffs are friendly and helpful. All kinds of groceries and other stuffs are available. There is a bakery inside it and a lot of freshly cooked food options too. Good place too.

For the last year or two I have found the section of the store near the bakery and one end of the produce section seems to periodically smell like sewage. It is inconceivable to me how a large national chain cannot or will not fix whatever plumbing issue is causing this problem. Don't they have any respect for their employees and customers? I avoid shopping here as much as possible for this reason.

I'm not a fan of Save-On-Foods in general (particularly because they're often more expensive than Superstore) but I'm tempted to shop here regularly because the store is clean, not crowded, and hasn't had big lineups when I've shopped here. Giving 5 stars for the shopping experience, exclusive of prices. 4 stars for prices only.

Came in today to do my weekly shopping, the security guard started following me around, no problem that's his job. It's when he started taking my photo that I became offended. I'm definitely no shoplifter. When I complained to management he says well it's not illegal. What are you planning to do with those pictures, seriously tho.just cause it's not illegal doesn't make it ok. I but every week from your store. I'll never shop here again.

I don’t understand why the deli section is closed after 9 PM. The excuse I was told, why I couldn’t buy broccoli burst salad, is that there’s no one in the store who can weigh it and sell it to me even though I see it sitting behind the glass. So you mean to tell me, one person out of everyone working there tonight, can’t be trained to weigh a salad so I can purchase it after 9 PM?

Within a 6 kilometer range this grocery store has the worst prices and the best stock of the available options.customer service staff is very helpful and very underpaid.management is disrespectful to customers and their staff.extremely bougie, dress in ratty clothes to give the "security" their exercise, and if you see someone stealing groveries, N̶O̶ ̶Y̶O̶U̶ ̶D̶I̶D̶N̶'̶T̶
be a good citizen and provide a distraction, they need food.

I have not actually been in this location. My son recently started working there and was having problems with his car. Call Dad, he can fix it. And I did.

This location is a joke. Smells unpleasant upon entering, they provide their customers with uncooked chicken, rotten greek salad and poor customer service. Very disappointing experience.

I like this store and it saved my bacon when Edmonton announced overnight that you had to have proof of vaccination or you can't eat in a restaraunt.so I find myself shopping for groceries instead of eating in restaraunts while I am visiting Edmonton. Probably cheaper in the long run. It is a very clean store with a good selection of to go lunch type foods.

Staff is always nice and willing to help.
They also have the occasional sale on vegan products.
Their nuts prices are nuts, aside from coupon day in the bulk barn this would be my go to!

Nothing is most appreciated by customers (and seniors) than courteous, friendly and informed staff, and this location can celebrate that, I think. Prices are mid-range, but you can find some good dealsoffers here as well and save a few dollars – particularly in these challenging times. Clean, well-designed floor and playful staff can make this store something special indeed. Evidently management is tuning in too. LCA:)

Clean, nice staff and they help me find the stuff that I'm looking for within the frozen area for my boss.

I just came from Save on foods. I want to thank the cashier. She noticed a package of blueberries that seemed short and not full. The other lady brought me a full package. She said that seemed better and did not want me to get ripped off. Then as I was leaving I asked the security guard if I could just leave my cart there. He said “yes” and moved the cart to the side. I left the store and the security guard came running after me. He said I forgot to take my loony and so he gave it to me. I thanked him for doing so and going out of his way. Great store and great staff. Thank you again for your kindness and honesty. You deserve an award!

The workers here are great. Their click and collect option works really well with few substitutions.

Kinda expensive but the quality is good. Staff are friendly, very clean location and fast checkouts.

This isn't the flagship store in Edmonton (that's 109th Street) but it's a 10/10 for what it is. Great selection, including a 3-aisle section of organic/sustainable brands and a popular bakery & deli. Lots of staff have been working there for years - that's a good sign in my books.

Save on foods is a good store. I really like their produce section. I absolutely love watermelon, and it's been very hard to find for last few weeks. They had large watermelon, for almost $12. Seriously? The small mini watermelons were I believe $5.99.the mini watermelons are always overpriced, but I don't think I've ever seen a regular size watermelon for 12 bucks. Ridiculous!

Great selection of healthy foods like non dairy options and organic produce, especially given the smaller size of store. Love the deli and prepared foods too. Bonus - free online shopping with curbside pickup. Excellent service!

Went in to pick up a tuxedo cake tonight just after 9 pm. Waited and waited as several staff walked past, not saying a word. When I finally flagged down a staff member, I was told that the bakery closed at 9pm. Staff member’s tone and expression was stand-off-ish. Really disappointed that Save-on-foods can’t figure out a system for people to purchase cakes from behind the glass after 9pm.

We've been using the online pickup since the start of the pandemic. Service had been prompt, personable, and they generallyenerally make good choices for substitutions. This store has a mix of abled and disabled staff, and it seems to contribute to kinder, more patient service overall.

So far this is the cleanest Save on Goods we've been to. The layout is very different however than what we are used to and have to take a bit more time to find what we need.
The best part of this location is we've never had problems talking to someone at customer service, whereas other locations we had to come back frequently in hopes that someone would eventually help us with our More Rewards card.

I went to your location this morning as it is close to our business, I live in Sherwood Park. I had the best experience with Paula while there. What a lovely lady, I will come back with the hopes of having to deal with her again.

Great customer service! Needed a few turkeys at Christmas during an apparent shortage. Called the manager directly and he went out of his way to put a couple aside for me. Much appreciated

Just wanted to share my awesome experience at the store. I came in to order a customized cake. I was helped by Jade at the bakery. She was super polite and helpful. The cake order was difficult because I wanted an edible image. And the location does not do edible images. She took the effort to talk to one of the supervisors I believe and also called the Calgary location on my behalf to figure out if they can get it printed there and it could be picked up. She explained everything very nicely and handled the situation well. I appreciate all the help and effort she did for me.

Very clean and helpful staff pretty much always has things in stock and its well organized. Only thing I can think of is that the staff at conventional Checkout's is a bit light even at peak hours in my experience. Id recommend get comfortable with the Self-Checkout.

On my weekly shop I noticed multiple employees and customers not wearing masks. While many were, it is unacceptable to endanger others because you can't be bothered to follow the bylaws of the city and medical evidence from professionals in the field.

Wearing a mask protects those around you. If a business is willing to risk your health, should you shop there?

I have always loved this Save-on-foods! It’s spacious, clean, and has lots of fresh options. This time I had the privilege of having Paula for a cashier. She was super kind and encouraging and teaches you that customer service has always been about more than speed! She definitely brightened my day!

Your standard grocery store. Not cheap, but offers some great local selections such as Mennonite sausages and more!

The friendly, helpful staff is always there to make your shopping experience just that much more pleasant. The produce section, deli, and meat departments are well stocked with fresh foods, and the bakery is teeming with delicious baked goods.

Over priced with an air of I'm better than you from the staff I will never shop.here again. No frills has same items at a fraction of the cost.

Do not shop there if you don't have the Save-on Foods member card, it's insanely expensive! Might have more options to chose from than smaller grocery stores, but it's also twice the price! $$

Your staff are a joke and the security guy needs to learn respect. Last time in the store after over 15 years.
Plus there is only two Cashiers that can do there job and one named Sam that is outstanding at packing a bag. The rest of the Cashiers should go back to the dollar store.

Short, unfriendly.basically my mum felt like a nuisance buying salmon. She came home distressed, this doesn't sound like good customer service and my mother is a lovely person who deserves to be treated kindly.

Was in the store today. Security was working in the store, but neither security nor staff enforced physical distancing rules. This was the worst shopping experience I've had since the start of the provincial state of emergency.

I will be taking my business to their competitors until the conditions at this store improve.

Does not care about public health! I was there is morning trying to get coffee and they had about 100 people shoved in there 0 social distancing measures in place.completely disgusting. I've already called the city and they are looking into it.

Excellent service, online shopping staff go above and beyond. Shopping in store gives you a great variety, lots of local products, well stocked for a smaller more neighbourhood grocery store. Nice change from the Big Box stores, here you will get great service from friendly people.

A great shopping experience. Meat counter especially awesome. Always get good service. Tasty marinated items. Customer service at the front also amazing. Many long term cashiers, all pretty sweet! Overall, a great shopping centre!

Waited 15 minutes to buy one item simply because self checkout doesn’t take my phone number for my save on membership. Stuck behind someone buy 40 items.

The worst dirty receiving place from other than save on foods and bad smell with too slow service

I stop by to check on the sales and to use the washroom (which are always clean) No complaints.

Nice selection, friendly staff. No Frills across the street has better pricing on average, but less selection.

Good place to buy your day-to-day items and grocery. It has huge number of choices for a single product. And also it sells fresh fish.
