Purchased some yogurt on November 9th that expired October 29th. We didn’t check the expiry date as we expected that the food past it’s expiry wouldn’t be sold. Best to go to the coop across the street.

Poor customer service from the lady stocking the pasta section today. Rude response when asking if they had what I was looking for in stock. A simple “no, sorry” would have sufficed but if you’re so miserable maybe you shouldn’t be working there

A tad bit more expensive overall for similar products than the competitors nearby.about 1 or 2 dollars more for a 1.05 kg fruit tray than superstore. Overall pretty good quality of produce, but some can be too expensive and surprisingly save-on-foods seems to lack in selection.better than co-op, and safeway, but superstore may be the overall better choice - especially for a large grocery run.

Staff are always super friendly and helpful. $1.49 Tuesday has some fantastic deals, with lots of stock clearly visible.

This grocery store has a pretty good selection of food at very reasonable prices. The store felt a bit short staffed though.

It is always a pleasure shopping at Save-On-Foods in Richmond Square. The staff is very courteous and efficient, the store is very clean, organized, good selection of products, price matching policy works well, and delivery service is excellent. I would like to express my Special Thanks to Nicole (Grocery Manager) who did an outstanding job in solving any issues with grocery delivery scheduling. Nicole's outstanding Customer Service skills, professionalism and dedication are to be commended.

My gratitude also goes to Logan and Daniel for the outstanding Customer Service they provided during my visit to the store in September this year. Logan was extremely attentive and thoughtful, as he saw me wearing a face mask he knew instantly that my immunity was compromised. He put his face mask on and ensured the counter was better disinfected to protect everyone. Then he handed a face mask to Daniel who helped me with the rest of my groceries as well as loading them into my car. I was able to complete my shopping within minutes thanks to their attentive presence. Kudos to them for their hard work!

It's a Save On Foods. If you've been to one before, you know what you're in for. Good bakery and deli at this location. The meat section could be a little larger/more diverse.

I won’t go back to save on foods.there are a lot better grocery stores out there. Had to waste my time and gas to go back to the store the same day to return meat I purchased. The pork roast I bought there was rotten AND it made my car reek of rotten meat even the next day. To add to that same visit there was one cashier working and three people lined up AND no one to oversee the self service. Instead of a relaxing shopping experience, the produce section workers were talking in loud voices across the aisles from each other about non work related topics as they stocked the shelves. Overall poor experience. Support our smaller stores in the city.

Great location and convenient for everyone looking for a wonderful shopping experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Customer service is excellent. This grocery store provides superior service and also has high integrity for their customers, the community and our Veterans.

Staff are pretty helpful here. Shelves are usually fairly well stocked. Often missing some special items for more than a month at a time. Pricing, well, it's better than across the street at the competitor. That's not to say it's good or fair. Very MINIMAL selection of low sugar vegetarian freezer items. Competitor kicks their butt in this category. They have a good bulk section here. Store is clean.

I just had such a lovely experience today at Save on Foods. I went in to get a coffee from Starbucks and found a lovely Xmas wreath. One of the team members named Devan helped me today. The wreath (made of natural pine) was quite messy, he offered to clean the till station, provided hand cleaner and a paper towel, and also helped me with the door when I left. I didn’t have to ask for a thing, he preemptively offered support. Amazing customer service. I hope this gets back to him! Made my day. Thanks Devan (Richmond Square -Calgary).

Prices are definitely higher than competitors. Merchandise the same like at any other grocery store.

Save on food in the single hills area is really clean and well staffed. The aisles are easy to walk around and shop however the prices are a little higher than the other grocery stores is what I notice. I still like shopping here for my grocery today

It's actually quite pricey. Is a better investment to drive an extra 60 seconds to superstore or even Safeway. It's clean. Nicely organized.

The cleanest and prettiest looking save-on I’ve ever been to. They have lots of selection and a really big section just for ready-to-eat meals.

I just tried their grocery pick up service these last two weeks and i'm so impressed. Everything has been accurate, produce has been fresh, the pickup process was fast and seamless. Above all the service was friendly!

This is my go-to grocery store. Great selection, prices, and safety measures for covid are clearly visible and reliable.

I shop at this location weekly. The staff are lovely, the store is clean and well laid out, the deals are great, and the food is good quality. My only complaint is the online shopping. It is so handy and free, and they don't even let you tip the shoppers, but unfortunately, they're often missing items that I was charged for and I'm usually stuck calling/emailing back and forth more than once to get my refund. This is why they lost 2 stars for me. Shop in store to avoid any of these blunders. 15% off every first Tuesday of the month is awesome!

Indoor Starbucks is great, great staff, however prices for Save on Foods is anything but. No cheaper than any other store

Amazing meat selection with daily "happy hour deals" from 3 to 6 pm (tues, weds and Thursday)

Save-On-Foods has always been my go-to place for her grocery shopping with a close second being Superstore. Prices are always competitive with any other grocery store, their produce and vegetables and fruit are always fresh, their meat selection and quality is above the norm that you would see that other grocery stores!

And a huge plus for me during this Covid-19 "pandemic" is that even at the height of the pandemic this was the only store that didn't make you line up and wait 20 plus minutes standing in line outside the store waiting to get inside to start your shopping. Y
This is, in my opinion, because of the staff's above and beyond approach to ensuring that Sanitizer Wipes and/or Sanitizer Hand Pumps were widely available to everybody not only upon entering and exiting the store but also had Hand Sanitization stands at the end of every 2nd or 3rd aisle. And the staff, not once since this pandemic began have I not seen multiple staff members walking around with multiple clean rags or rolls of paper towel and a Sanitizer spray bottle ensuring that every possible area someone would/could/might potentially touch was wiped down for everyone's safety.

If I could give more than five stars I would! Will definitely continue to use Save-On-Foods as my number one go to grocery store!

Really disappointed a customer service at glenbrook save on food in calgary!

Yesterday I went to save on food store first time around 1: 50pm because I usually shop at co up or safeway.but I wanted to try and realized there are many options to purchase. So I decided to make save on a reward card even had other stores reward cards. After self check out I went to customer service desk and there is a female staff was standing. I asked to her how can I make a reward card and then she answered "you can make with cashier" I said "I already checked out what should I do? "
Again she said " you can make with cashi
er" She did not want to listen my words and did not help me out at all. Which means I can not make a card at customer service? I am wondering why she works at customer service? Please answer to me! Even I feel giving one star is wasting.

I was in your store today and by accident left something from my order behind. Realize it when I got home. I phoned the store and a women, after she checked, said nothing was left behind. Accused me of dropping it in the parking lot. I think I would know if I dropped a jug of water. She then said call back tomorrow. We usually shop there at least once a week. This may change where we shop.

This location is kept very clean, good selection of fruits and vegetables. We enjoy the fresh bread at the bakery. Excellent selection of fresh meats and seafood. Great deals to be had if you use the app. The layout of the store is simple and effective. Cashiers have always been friendly and efficient. Easy online ordering and pick up.

Good Save-on. Good variety at the meat counter. Unfortunately they ran out of wings on Happy Hour wing day.

Great place to shop as it’s organized, clean and always stocked. The service at customer service is a bit lacking, but otherwise a great grocery store.

Love the prepared meal selections (including the sandwiches). Beats the selection at any other grocery store in Calgary that I have frequented. Everyday grocery selection and prices are otherwise adequate.
