We often shop here, they have more selection than at home. The only improvement I'd like to see is speed at the tills or maybe having more open sometimes.
Great store, great selections.the deli department is great! Edit: Big ShoutOut to Cole at the deli! He was so helpful and friendly when i was ordering lunch!
It's a bit pricey but it has a wide selection of products that are typically of good quality. It also has an in-store Starbucks, which is quite enjoyable. One thing I did notice was that a lot of the produce had gone moldy/rotten so it may be better to buy stuff like that elsewhere. For dry goods however, it's a good place.
The store was well stocked and organized, but our cashier, Gail, was the best part of the experience! She was so friendly and helpful and let us know all about the savings program, making sign-up so easy and attractive that we joined the program (even though we never feel compelled to sign up for loyalty programs).
Haven't had a bad review until recently. Trying to get a loaf a bread and a baker was standing in front just chatting to a friend. I asked if I could get behind her, and she said "oh definitely" and then proceeded to keep talking at not move.
I shop at the 2nd Avenue A North location regularily for food-staples. Prices are competitive and Manager Deals are great. The meat counter is a favourite and the closest thing to visiting a butcher-shop from days gone by. My favourite cashier, Tracy is usually always on the floor to greet me by name. Recommend.
Amazing customer service at check out makes up for paying a bit more than at Walmart or Costco for certain things. The employee was friendly, made good conversation and made me feel welcome. I would shop here all the time just to be able to deal with her.
This Save On has all the items that a standard Save On has. Friendly staff, has fresh fruits and pre-made food, plus plenty of parking space at this mall. Has a public washroom for customers. Quick checkout process as well.
The pre-made sandwiches are recycled from the days before. Bought a sandwich and found the ingredients to be wilted and aged. Nothing fresh about it. This is false advertising. Don't recycle your BBDate.
I used to shop at Save On North all the time. The new store changed that. Very poor layout, narrow isles, poor product selection & unsatisfactory parking (too narrow between parking stalls and too narrow to back up). I know that the management must be poor now also as they are allowing very sick individuals with the flu to work. This is just unacceptable; especially around food. Sad as it used to be a great grocery store.
Good produce selection, there are choices here that you don’t get in the other grocery stores. Awesome staff, helpful and friendly, I find them a bit more expensive, but they’re so conveniently located that it’s worth it for me
This Save-On is relatively new to Lethbridge. The store is clean, well stocked and includes a full ready-to-eat area with oven baked pizzas, wings and hot soup. There’s a Starbucks inside (which makes shopping during busy times bearable). I love only a few blocks away and this is by far my favourite grocery spot.
