Disappointed. Came here for a 59 cent deal on Cornitos. That was fine but as soon as I went to the meat department I was being followed. I could barely stop and read the prices! I turn around and this worker has the gall to quickly turn and pull out his phone and pretend he's on a call. He was wearing bright yellow vest so he wasn't exactly subtle.
Not sure what I did wrong here either. Like I said I didn't even stop long enough to read the prices of the meat. It's incredibly unnerving. If management would like to let me know how to properly browse the meat department I'm all ears. Until then I won't be back.
Recently I visited Save on Foods for bouquet and Gurleen who works in that department was so polite and sweet. She also gave suggestions about flowers.
Service is always great. The staff almost always have a smile when asked for help. I appreciate them being strategically around the store ready to assist. I often wish that the self-service stations would have the option to punch my phone number in for rewards. I can be a bit of an inconvenience when you have to get staff to scan their card, especially when they are already helping someone else.
Too pricey at most times. Not much of value. Though they have wide variety of grocery and other food items. The only plus is their kids charity and food donation corner.
Super clean, super bright. So many ethnic choices it was fantastic. This is by far our favourite place to grocery shop. Love loved it. Will be back again and again!
Usually this place is pretty clean, the prices are high but when they have sales going on they aren’t too bad. We went here today and the sauces were all over the place. Granted, it could have been a customer. But you also have staff that can clean it up and not have it a mess
I've been to this Save-On a handful of times during the pandemic. They have protocols in place like stickers on the floors, and poly-shields at the tills. However they seem to think it acceptable to allow their staff to wear these tiny face-shields in place of masks. These are positioned perfectly to broadcast sneezes and coughs throughout the environment of the store like little ski-jumps for phelgm. If your staff is complaining about having to wear masks send them home - don't allow them to propose a solution that is actually worse for public health than not wearing a mask at all.
