Average store. Good flyer prices but normal prices are higher.
Good service in the meat department. Very helpful staff.
Still has high prices on everything but sales items. Prices continue to rise.
More rewards is why I shop here.

I find Save-On-Foods way overpriced for the quality of their food. However, their cakes are so wonderful. We shop there for all of our birthdays. The customer service has always been so great in the bakery department until we picked up our cake this last time. It was a younger girl. She handed me the cake and walked away without saying a word. I was gobsmacked. Especially when I said hello and picking up for _. Then saying thank you, and still she said nothing. Customer service training may need some work.

Middle aged lady working in the deli is super unfriendly and should seek employment in another line of work, or the very least participate in customer service training.

Worst self checkouts ever.
I'm not sure who's responsible for the system that requires employee intervention numerous times per visit, but it's frustrating to say the least. And your almost forced into using them as they never have enough staff on checkouts. Considering the premium you pay over other grocery stores it makes no sense to go there anymore, even if it's on the way home. Staff appropriately or fix your self checkout kiosk system.

Prices are just too high to shop at this store. It totally has the wrong name. I don't know what you would be saving but it definitely isn't $$$$.

Generally have decent deals, Rarely have great deals. Meat is outrageous, as is everywhere. Availability of some bread can be hit or miss especially if you want unsliced bread.

I'm a fan of this store, clean, great little hot food deli/stand inside, good service.

I have been shopping at this location since it opened and I have to say that I've watched the quality of produce and meat counter decline along with the customer service of many of the staff over time, which is unfortunate. There are still a few staff members that are friendly and helpful, however the overall experience of this store has tanked. I would have to agree with a lot of the reviews I've seen posted. Rotting salad and brown meat at outrageous prices isn't a good look for a company, along with staff who would prefer to chatter amongst themselves or roll their eyes when asked for help. I have started to shop elsewhere for better quality and way lower prices.

Every time I have gone in the shelves are nicely stocked. Selection is good and fresh. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Cashiers help you fill your bags and friendly.

7: 30 PM and ZERO ability to checkout paying customer other than self check out!
Been a regular shopper here since I moved to Spruce Grove in 2012. Always had pretty decent service and decent groceries. Tonight I went to do my regular grocery shopping. Went to the cash to get checked out. A cashier on till 3 sent me to Till 1 as he was going home and said she will check you out their. Another cashier looked at me and said no that till is closed. So basically lost 30 minutes shopping to be told the store has no one to check my out at the till at 7: 30 PM. Left my cart at the till; lady asked me if I was coming back, my answer was “NOPE” you have no one to check me out and take my money so I basically wasted 30 minutes of my time. If your check out till are closed and all your have open is self check out you should post that so customer don’t waste their time shopping in your establishment!
Probably time to find a new grocery store that can check people out at 7: 30 PM!

All the time are good specials, plus you earn points and get discounts with the rewards points. The fruits and vegetables are fresh. Meats are of good quality. They have their own brand at good price. I think there is discount on all products second day of every month. Also they have a section of seasonal items with good assortment and price.
They offer good convenient food like pizzas, rostisserie chicken (rosemary flavor is pretty good), subs and sushi.
The cake selection is good.

The typical emloyee attitude is very bad. They don't seem to care which tells me that management do not treat them well. Twice I have complained to the bakery manager that their display containing bread has flies in it. Twice the bakery manager ignored me so I went and asked for the store manager. Both times someone other than the store manager spoke with me and promised the store manager would call me. I was never called so I shop at most of the other grocery stores and stay away from this one.

Prices are a little bit more then Superstore but it's fine the people are always nice when I come.
