Well stocked, clean, and contrary to popular belief not more expensive than any other grocery store

Clean, quality produce, deli chickens and hams are great quick picks for needing a fast supper, though you have to get there early before 5 most times as pickings are slim after that. The occasional line up but I really love that they DO NOT HAVE self check outs, please never get them.

I really enjoy shopping at Save On Foods. I recently moved to close to the Hamptons location. Unfortunately, it is not the experience I am used to at other locations. The staff are not friendly. My latest trip I couldn’t find the Soda stream cartridges. At the till I mentioned that I couldn’t find them. The teller rudely said they are in the aisle. I asked which aisle or could someone bring one to the till. Again I was told curtly “they are in the aisle”. I said that’s okay then I don’t want to hold up the line. I apologized and paid for my groceries. It’s one of the rudest treatments I have received from a teller. I will never be back to this location.

Life is too short to me around such negative energy. I don’t know what management does to get such consistent attitude from the entire staff. Life is easier when you are happy.

Always clean. Always have products on the shelves. Friendly staff. No long wait lines to pay.

Has variety of items for sale.
Store is always clean and well arranged.
Parking is Available for free.
There are other convenience store within close distance.
Atmosphere is always conducive for shopping.

Sometimes they have fresh flowers, sometimes they don't. Last time I went for a bouquet, all the flowers were withered. Then I went another time, flowers were very fresh so hit n miss i guess:)

I always find everything I need here. Pharmacist was extremely helpful. I probably never had anyone be so helpful before. The only reason I have 4 stars is because the shopping carts can’t accommodate parents with 2 small kids. If they can change that, it would be perfect

We lived in the Hampton for 8 years. They have the best pharmacy with the kindest staff. They always learned our names and asked how the kids were feeling when we needed something. Always let us know what to expect with the medication and answers any questions or concerns. Shakila and her team are amazing and genuinely care. We will miss having you as our go to pharmacy!

Store keeps getting worse. Horrible lines with 2 tills open. Now they are cleaning shelves during open hours so you can’t get the items you come to the store specifically for.

A little more expensive than Super Store and Walmart but their bakery, meat and produce is always fresh and excellent quality. They price match as well. The layout of the store is good with wide isles.and lots of parking.

Gotta know what to buy in advance, because their fruits and veggies are very deceiving to post American prices by the pound, verses kilograms. What's up with that eh?

Their specials are mostly good. You gotta predetermine what you're getting, or it will be a very expensive experience.

Amazing! We are stuck in quarantine and went able to get out to pick up a birthday cake for my daughter. The amazing ladies in the bakery were so kind, they let me email a picture of what I wanted. Let me tell you they don't disappoint. What I received was even better than I could have imagined. Thank you so much for making a difficult situation into a day to remember.

Great staff and lots fresh fruit, vegtables and pastries. First Tuesday of every month gets busy because of the %15 off but that's to be expected. Lines get long but go pretty quick with the experienced cashiers. Happy I live by this grocery store.

You folks have a mask policy and security, but it's not being enforced. I watched as your security people walked past an unmasked person multiple times and did nothing. I finally went over to one of them and he shrugged saying 'some people have an exemption". I told him he needed to check that and then finally he reluctantly went over to confront her.

There were 300 people in there and she was the only one without a mask. Pick your demographic, because although you may not like losing a few customers who are anti-maskers, you'll lose a whole lot more who are expecting you to follow through with your policy.

Hamptons Save on Foods does not follow the Scanner Accuracy Code of Practice. Purchased groceries and after checkout noticed 1 item had scanned in higher than the price on the shelf label. When I inquired at the customer service desk, the person on duty went and checked the label for the item and came back and said that the label price had expired 4 days earlier and that his staff had forgotten to remove the sale price label from the shelf. He would not honor the policy that if a price scans higher than the displayed label price, the customer is entitled to up to $10 off the price of the item. All the person would do is match the previous expired sale price of the item. I will definitely reconsider shopping at this location in the future and let my friends and family know to do the same.

One of my favourite local groceries supply store. Their produce are mostly always fresh (except that 1 time I returned a perishable item, hence the 4.5 star). Their items are pricey but since they price match that's irrelevant to my circumstances. Oh, BTE, my more rewards card just got me a FREE 500ml Western Family signature ice cream. Cashier name Alex R was not friendly at all i was trying to take my money out and she had her hand extended hurrying me up, i havent seen her before in the store, why hire people with not manners, they feel they are doing us a favor, not is not like that we are paying for our food, that is why you have a job. Hire nice people save on foods.

Myrtle was the most wonderful and friendly cashier I’ve probably ever been served by at a Save On. Came all the way to the Hamptons for something from Downtown and she helped me out at the express line till tonight. Great job and thank you, Myrtle!

Great service. Staff is very personable. Any issues I've had has always been addressed with satisfaction. Dept. Managers are always willing to go the extra mile. Kudos to Produce Mgr John; Bakery Mgr Katie and Meat Mgr Breeya for their example in service and leadership.

Save-on-foods has a good jumper of unusual products and the Western Family product line is usually quite good. There are always long lineups to pay, which is likely because people like the store. I find the lineups very frustrating which is the only reason that I did not give 5 stars. Consistently busy. I'm not sure what early morning or later evening is like for the lineups.

I’ve had consistently good experiences here. The quality of the produce rocks and the staff are so polite!

I find the prices a bit high compared to other stores and I sometimes struggle to find all the ingredients for which I’m shopping. The line-ups can be a little crazy at peak times too (like after work).

That being said, the majority of my dealings have been with Marshall and the pharmacy team. Overall, my experience has been great. They’re a friendly, helpful and knowledgeable team. 5 stars for them!

This place needs to invest in wages and man hours. This is an excellent place to wait in a line up.

I came in late needing a cake that had writing in it for a birthday. Karter went above and beyond to make sure it happen even though there were no bake shop employees present. Definitely an extremely valuable and versatile employee.

I am from Ontario and I never seen such high prices on food in my life when we visited, abostuly ridiculous price gouging

One thing i love in save on is their bakery. They make good cakes. Their groceries are kinda pricey tho!

It's a decent grocery store lots of quality food and items. It's close to my house I know what they have and I shop there regularly.

The pricing is a little bit higher than some of the other stores but I find the quality of the produce and meat to be a little higher as well.

This store is not following covid social distancing guidelines at all. There is no one enforcing masks at the door, and many customers were walking in the store without a mask or with their mask half off with no one correcting them. The arrows are not enforced nor followed by staff (I personally ran into staff members who were walking the wrong way and still walked past me). The check out lines are only socially distanced if there is 2 customers waiting at each til, otherwise the responsible customers who are trying to maintain a 6 ft distance while waiting in line were dealing with a constant stream of irresponsible customers cutting in front of the line. I don't know why they removed the line up system they had during the beginning of quarantine. I will not be going back here it is not a safe place to shop.

I do like this store, great location, very clean and well stocked deli and bakery are very good, during this covid19 pandemic save on has done a great job with sanitation and social distancing which makes me feel comfortable shopping here, some prices a little high but just watch for the sales, excellent friendly staff!

I've worked for save ons for 2 years at the hamptons location as Save on Guy. Never have I ever enjoyed such delight of a job. The staff are like family, the customers are quite literally some of the best people you could ever meet. The fact that I could put a smile on people's faces when giving high fives or showing a big smile, that's what makes this store great! The community!

Thank you MAX! Today I went into Sobeys on 62ave looking for beef soup bones. I noticed there weren't any in the freezer. I asked someone in the Deli department, his name was Max. Normally in other stores I get told, "that is not my department, " or "I will check". Usually when they go to "check" they are gone 1 to 2 min and say, "sorry we're out" which I highly doubt they are out because i go back 2 hours later after doing some errands and the soup bones are replenished.
Today Thank Goodness for Max! He actually checked, was gone several minutes, open the box, and gave me as many as I wanted.
So Max Thank You for going Above And Beyond. I want you to know that people truly appreciate it. We are always so quick to give negative reviews but the smallest effort truly does go a LONG way!

I find a few cashiers to be very rude on may occasions throughout the years shopping here.
I live within a few blocks from this location,
I guess it won't hurt me to take my business a few more blocks in another Direction.

Buyer Beware! This place should be called Pay More Foods. I've never seen such a misleading name for a company.by the way this is Canada and we use the metric system. Save-On-Foods uses pounds for pricing by weight to make their food look cheaper.just a shifty place overall. I HATE that this place thinks we're all dumb enough to fall for this pricing trick.

Wanted to pay with $100 bill the cashier name Candelena R.said to me i have not change for this and look upset, what am i supposed to do? She was supposed to ask for change to custumer service, what i didn't like is the way she responded ifelt embarrazed when she put my $ 100 bill down and said i have not change for that, i was friendly and polite, she needs to learn some maners or make sure she has change to give people!

It was ok. 830 at night, my niece needed some lady things. I got what I needed. Paid a fair price, for what I thought was fair.

This is probably one of the nicest save on foods I've been inside. The layout is intuitive and the staff was helpful. The bakery is wounderful aswell.

The store staff provides excellent service. Customers don't have to wait on line for long at the check-out lanes.

They don't have a lot of selections to choose from. They are always over priced. Consider yourself lucky if you find someone who is actually happy to help you. Don't recommend if you want your shopping done in one stop. Go somewhere else if you can. I get way better shopping experience for spending less money. Wish the real Canadian superstore is here.

My boyfriend and I just had the greatest experience at the grocery store EVER! Braeden is the best! I never met an employee at the grocery store so happy, cheery and even made jokes while getting our items checked out without slowing up the line.definitely the best food run ever and put a smile on our faces.

Staff treat each other like family. So friendly and welcoming, very helpful. Sometimes produce is old.
