Our Bow Yoho Traverse was absolutely phenomenal and both Christian and Steve went so far above and beyond to make it so special. These guys worked so hard and put together an absolutely epic week for us. Incredible leaders, so professional, did a great job managing the group, and are just such a blast to be around.

3 day guided tour in Rogers pass. Would highly recommend this company, and their guide, Will. His focus was to make sure we skied untouched powder on aspects where the snow was in great condition and to keep us safe doing it, and that's what we received all 3 days. Professional and calm, everyone felt safe and at ease despite it being the first time in big mountains for some of us. Fantastic experience and well worth having this company lead your adventure.

I had the incredible opportunity of going on a hut trip with Sawback Alpine Adventures into the Selkirk hut for a week. Tom was our guide and the whole experience was magical. The guides were extremely knowledgeable they knew where to find the best turns everyday and how to keep everyone safe. They were also very fun and helpful in every way! The trip was well organized, we did some avalanche training the first day and everyday after that we maximized our time on the snow! The hut was comfortable and had great food and staff! I would HIGHLY recommend booking a trip with Sawback Alpine Adventures!

Tom, the guide, plus the assistant guides were so courteous and attentive to the needs, not only of myself, but of everyone in the group. Tom knows how to provide excellent customer service!

My partner and I wanted to explore the Athabasca Sand Dunes Provincial Park in Northern, SK, Canada Tom and the company that he partners with in summers (Churchill River Canoe Outfitters) made this happen, though I would say simply "made this happen" was a major understatement. We provided our own gear, they figured out the food and the rest of the logistics.

While he guided us through desert heat and sun, and led the way in bushwhacking during our hikes, he also ensured we were getting the adventure we had hoped for. We felt safe at all times, which was easy to do in the natural confidence (from lots of experience) Tom has. One of the highlights was also seeing him experience things for the first time alongside us - true wilderness guiding!

The scenery and sites were often unbelievable (how do we have this in Canada?) and Tom did his research (which is limited in existence) to get us to amazing places in this remote, vastly undiscovered area.

I would highly recommend Tom for any outdoor or wilderness adventure, whether on his site or curated yourself, and would not hesitate to do the same again. Thank you again, Tom!

Tom Wolf was our back country ski guide for a week at the Selkirk Lodge 1/2020. He and the other guides over delivered everyday. Tom not only knows where to ski for amazing runs but makes sure it is safe. He handles group dynamics and made sure everyone’s needs where taken care of. He is just a super fun guy to hang with besides - out skiing or around the dinner table he is super fun to talk and joke with - just like an old friend and ski buddy. As soon as Covid restrictions are lifted for us Americans I plan to book a BC ski trip with him again- He’s the real deal and one of the best.

My husband and I have been on yearly trips with Tom to BC lodges for backcountry skiing and overseas to Japan for 5 years in a row and now looking forward to our 6th year in 2021. Tom is able to accommodate different level of skiers on his trips with ease if that is a concern.
The guides Tom brings along with him are always fun and all of them are extremely competent guides. The selection of great cooks Tom lines up contribute to the best overall experience by providing delicious meals.
