Ok bar to go watch a game, lots of things to do, we had a large group end of year party and the service was pretty decent for how many of us there was food was mediocre at best

Food was nothing special, mac and cheese I found flavorless, ordered fish tacos they were ok. The waitress brought our food orders without cutlery and had to ask another staff member for some. Won't go back. Pricey for what you get

Great food and good service. Was there at the start of stampede and it was quiet with live music and games.

The mature crowd seemed to really Enjoy the Stampede Beer Garden, hopefully it's a New tradition. Not everyone wants to go downtown.
We will back again for sure!

Managers are just awful. Kicked me and my son out because I used to work there a year ago and quit because of poor management. It was my sons birthday. Definitely need new management before they close their doors

Nice place my company had a get together it was fun and games great. Appreciated the smile host were very nice

We were assisted by one of the most polite and surely one of the best restaurant manager I met here at YYC. His name is Wade! His people skills is exceptional! He made sure that we were taken care off. I rarely post reviews but he's an exception. My family are happy with his and staff's service. Servers are friendly! Food is good and the ambience is something else. I'm just surprise that there were less people who came in a Friday night. Nonetheless, we are coming back not just for the food and ambience but for the people working in there as well!

I love going to Schanks, great food, awesome staff and they have betting on horse racing too!

Unfortunately we had a bad service experience that night at Schanks. Our server, Kayla, was not only inexperienced in serving a large group, but most importantly, she was very rude as a server. I can understand the inexperience.but never a rude server like Kayla was with our group. Our tables were poorly attended and clearly not cleaned the entire time. Our server, Kayla, was very neglectful. The food was ok and so were the cocktails. The bar was empty all the time, which doesn't justify the lack of care and attention. It was a really awful experience.

Great atmosphere, kind of have to step up their wing game for being a prominent place to watch sport. Staff is very friendly.

Decent.lots tv. Mini golf disappointing (old and.that feeling when people have fake flowers with dust on them.) Arcade area -SAas any movie theater (games and prices).

A huge and captivating sports bar! Great menu, great drinks, and great crowd!

Man when I seen that this place was in Calgary, we had to come here. We used to have a location here in Edmonton, but for some odd reason it closed.

This place is the ultimate place to come chill with your friends. Has a mini-golf course, pool tables, TV's everywhere and even an arcade. Our server Kal, hope I got that right, was such a good server. He was quick and got us our food and drinks fast. The portions were huge and the quality was decent Me and Fiance will definitely be back here whenever we are in Calgary again

We went with our son & gf. The food was good but quite salty. I know they make their money on drinks but there was too much so it took away from it. My biggest complaint was the accessibility. TERRIBLE! No ramp off the parking lot & the one just in the is quite steep & slippery I couldn't get up it. Getting down was worse as the ramp ends about 2-3 ft from a wall. Come on Schanks you can do better.disgusted.
The waitress though was excellent, funny, friendly & on the ball. I wish I knew her name.

Will go back, it was packed, very busy so did took a little longer than when not packed but hey food and drink still came 5 stars

Great place to hang out with friends.decent collection of cocktails. Slightly on the expensive end for a sports bar.but nice ambiance.

I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with a garden salad - both were excellent. I especially enoyed the cranberry mayonaise salad dressing with feta cheese.

Always a good choice for the family. Everybody is happy with the food, the arcade and activities are great for the kids.

Just left this place, do not go here. The manager was very rude to us and needs to be fired. He demeaned me in front of my children.

At 1: 30 we ordered some of their daily specials and then the bill came and they charged full price for the specials.
I asked our waiter why we were charged full price, and he said didn’t know. He went to go change it and the manager said no, that the specials started after 2 pm. The words after 2 pm on the menu were very small and in-between other words. I asked the manager if we could wait till 2pm to pay for the bill and the manager said very rudely, SORRY YOU CAN’T READ!

Even his own waiter didn’t know that the specials started after 2pm. This whole experience was extremely slimy, rude, and demeaning. You would never get service in any other restaurant.

My husband and I were going to come back with two other couples, but after this experience we will go to Boston Pizza. His response to me saying we weren’t coming back was “I don’t care. ”What a good manager…

Im only grateful my husband wasn’t there as he would have punched him out after saying “SORRY YOU CANT READ. ” Maybe he only talks to women and children like that.

Had a similar experience in Boston pizza. The good manager gave us a coupon to come back for a free meal. That’s what good managers do. They fix things and value customers.

The wings are not worth 16.99. Maybe 10. Caesar salad is the same price as the keg. My advice is go to the keg or B. P.where you’ll be treated like a person.

This issue had nothing to do with the waiter. He was wonderful and his manager put him in an awful situation and he was very sorry for the whole thing.

The service was good, but the food was under par. Either the chef was having an off day or needs training. We went here for a small celebration for 4 and we had fun, it was quiet, clean and lots to do.
But for the prices of a dish they need to step up their food game.
