This place is terrible half of them seem like they have little to no clue what there doing and ladies at front are miserable and no help.

Worst bank in the world to deal with! I got away from them to save myself $1,500 a month on interest on my mortgage renewal, after they were paid out by the bank we switched to they came after us for the last payment! I thought this was dumb and unprofessional but we owed because of their screw up so we paid, and then they came after us for that payment again because they couldn’t find record of it so we had to give them proof of payment and now over a month after that they are coming after us for more money and can’t give a reason why
The most unorganized and unprofessional group of imbeciles! Yet they are threatening to take us to collections.

Stay away from them!

Staff in there are miserable there's a couple nice younger lady's at front desk but then the rest it's like talking to a robot

If Scotiabank is going to close the ATMs during non-business hours you should just remove them! Or extend your operating hours to something actual people are able to come in.perhaps hire a security company to be there during off hours to remove the homeless people that forced you to close the ATMs. Scotiabank needs to come up with something as the current situation is completely unacceptable.

Lady we booked an appointment was the worst financial adviser. Im not even inside the booth, she started asking personal banking questions, did not even wait for us to settle inside her office. No empathy on clients, she didn't value my 9 yrs with the branch. Definitely not happy with her service.

I used to love Scotiabank but they are terrible now. I use to go to the spruce grove location and know all the faces but now they have new people and they horrible. Will definitely be switching to a new bank.

This bank has always helped me out me out! They are super friendly and always go out of their way to help clients!

Awesome bank full of awesome people, tellers are always super friendly and I had a meeting with Patricia (I think?) a few weeks ago and she was very helpful and an utter delight.

Will absolutely be coming here for all my banking needs.

Tl;Dr Ignore the 1 star reviews, everyone at this branch is wonderful, kind and professional.

I've been at this bank for quite some time now and I've never once had a bad experience here. Sometimes I might have to wait in line but it's always worth the wait. All of the tellers are an absolute delight, I've had extremely positive interactions with Persephone, Judy, Kayla and Sarah and they've never shown me the slightest bit of attitude or lack of professionalism.

I don't normally leave reviews but i felt bad for this place seeing all the stupid 1 star reviews.

Will absolutely recommend the branch to all friends and family and will continue to come here for years to come. Keep up the great work!:)

Worse bank and BRANCH EVER! Deposite cash through the machine, they scammed it and told me I deposited an empty envelope.
Wouldnt even check the camera or help nothing, I was out $500.00 in cash

Very pleasurable to deal with and quick. As long as your not a snob you'll have great service at this location.

Brought in documents to have on file so i could deposit checks in a previous name, and after successfully depositing checks for a couple months, now im told that they don't have anything on file.and i am a single mother living 30min outside of town in the country. So now im told that i have to go home to bring in said documents again. All i have to say is that you lost my business for your sheer incompitence and the inconvience you have caused me and my toddler.

I opened an account with this spruce grove branch. Deposited a check for $100 from a friend who owed me money. The check bounced. No big deal as I wasn't able to get any funds out for the check any way. I then went a few days later and deposited $320 to make my car payment. Payment went through online no problem. Deposited another $260 into my account a few days later to pay my utilities bill. All of a sudden there was a $100 hold on my account. Couldn't make my utilities payment, so I went to the ATM and withdrew $160 out of the $260 I had in my account. Added money to my $160 and made my utilities payment through courier service. Went back to online banking and saw that the $100 was being held for 2 more business days. After 2 days went online and figured my own cash would be released and found that they put a complete hold on my account and my card at the ATM said ''card not linked to this account''.
Phoned online banking and he told me that the money was in my account but account was on hold. He told me they had to verify what I deposited, and I said you had to already verified it was cash I deposited as you said the money was put in my account.
Stay completely away from this bank, do not bank here. They are F****D UP.
Who ever heard of a hold being put on actual cash deposit and then once the hold is off they freeze your account. Now I have to go to the bank in person, but, I am working and can't make it there before they close. I needed the money for gas to get to work.
DON'T make the same mistake I made by banking here. Stay FAR, FAR, AWAY.

Disgusting customer service. We went into open a business bank account and deposit $50,000. The girl at the counter said " Do you have an appointment? " with a snotty attitude and when we said no she very rudely told us "then you are not getting into see someone, there is only one person and it is a week and half wait". Are you kidding me? This is the customer service available before we even start banking here? Imagine what we should expect by becoming clients. Go somewhere else where they would actually appreciate your business. It is the banks privilege to hold our money, pay us dirt and loan it to other people at high interest rates.not the other way around.

Excellent bank. Listened to our needs and requests and set up exactly what we wanted. I haven't banked at a charter bank in 30 years but the Servus CU here are the worst I have ever seen after dealing exclusively with CUs in BC. Very happy with the change and zero troubles after my first year. Servus couldn't make it through 3 months. The only in-person visit I have had to make was quick and perfectly handled. Just what I wanted.

Unbelievably terrible service. Went in to set up a commercial business account and give them money and were refused by a very rude teller. Said if we don't make an appointment, they won't set it up and it was over a week wait for an appointment. Get lost! We will take our money to a bank that actually appreciates it. It's us doing you a favor, not the other way around. Find a bank that actually cares and staffs properly, this is disgusting service. Don't reward terrible service and idiot staffing levels.

0 stars! Very inexperienced tellers. Couldnt verify my cheque wgich btw td did in a couple of seconds! Never had such a bad experience at any scotiabank before except this one!

Every time I go to Scotiabank, I always receive fantastic service from the tellers. They are friendly and always give great customer service.

Had to go into the bank to get a check certified. They were having computer issues so I had to sit there and wait for a while then they told me would cost $25 to get a check certified. I told them most banks are 15 and they said all well. I had to pay for the $25. I couldn’t use credit card or debit so I had to go to their bank machine and take money out which cost me an additional three dollars. Meanwhile they were still trying to get their system to work to certify the check wasted my time charge me more than other banks. Horrible customer service. Would never bank there.
