Financial adviser, Lakhvir is thoughtful, listening my stories and giving proper advices. I have no complaints about this location.

This bank that recommended me, a financing advisor
Alex Wolder promised me a loan to buy a house, but on the day of the deal, he said that the bank refused and the deal did not take place and I suffered losses. It happened on April 30,2022. The bank cannot figure out where they sent the money, I contacted the manager Brad Rooks several times and sent him the information of my lawyer, who will confirm that I did not receive a loan, but the manager did not help and my credit history was ruined. Also, I get messages on my phone from R. Anderson VP Scotiabank which tell me how many days have passed and how much I have to pay. I could not imagine that absolutely unprofessional people work in the bank, who cannot figure out whose account the money is being sent to. This is an absolute scam.

Waste of my time dealing with this branch. They can't even make it to their scheduled phone appointments. I waited for their phone call during the allotted timeframe of one hour, with no call. I call the phone center and best I get is a rescheduled appointment 24 hours later. They don't care about customer service and they really let it show with how unprofessional they are with such simple tasks. I'd suggest avoiding this branch as best as you can and seek actual professionals who will honor appointments.

People that work at the tellers at this branch are the rudest and most unprofessional people ever. I would stay away from this place not sure if all the scotiabank branches are like this but its made me transfer banks because almost every single time I have needed something in the past 8 years of being a scotiabank customer they
A) Don't know how to do basic things like deposit money or send an email
B) Accuse me of being rude because I noticed that my name was spelt wrong on a bank document
And
C) Have zero knowledge on banking (pretty sure these people don't even have a high school diploma)

I hope this review is seen by higher management.

The bank representative Ronak Yazd asked me to come to see her at the bank at a specific time. But when I came, she left for lunch for the time of the appointment without even notifying me. What a terrible and arrogant attitude and customer service.

We bank with Scotiabank on daily basis because of our business! All other branch manager are very helpful and kind. However in this branch the branch manager Sonia Cavanagh is the rudest person I have ever seen or met.
She does not care about her clients has the worst attitude ever, and yesterday she even told us that we should move our accounts to a different bank. What kind of customer service is that?
I hope that this review reaches the higher management for Scotiabank and they can contact me so that I can also tell them what else she told us while we were in her office.
Not saying not to do banking with Scotia but try avoiding her cause she is not going to help you in any way.

This place is the worst. The Branch manager Sonia is rude and unprofessional.
I was trying to explain an issue over the phone with her and she actually started yelling my name over and over again to interrupt me when I hadn't even said more than a sentence.
Sonia and the financial planner Edwin (who we found doent really know much about mortgages) continually sent the wrong information to their underwriter even after paperwork had been provided to them.
We are now at 3 weeks of trying to have a release of covenants done and now its denied even though we meet all their criteria.
Please save yourself the aggravation and use a different bank.
